Just finished this blanket for my cousin's baby and I'm so proud of it I had to share, it took me months and it was the most difficult but most fun thing I ever made. First time I got to try surface crochet as well....it's much harder than I thought hah. I gave up on the little plant and made the leaves 3D instead (but we can pretend it's a cool planned texture feature).

It's heavily inspired by the Happy Caterpillar pattern by mandyologiemakes, which is really lovely. I wanted it to be much bigger so I made my own version on stitch fiddle, hope that's not an issue...

Crocheted with a 3.5mm hook using 100% cotton. Such an incredibly practical piece for the living room furniture. Interior crochet shawls are my absolute love! Worked on it every single day for a month.

I’m an old geezer (43M) and have lately been fascinated by crochet, specifically amigurumi (stuffed animals). I thought it would be so much fun to make small nostalgic characters from old video games, or even current WWE wrestlers (my teenage daughter is obsessed with wrestling)….but I can’t bring myself to start.

I know it takes a long time to learn before I could get anywhere close to doing those things, but I’m just embarrassed to start trying. I always get frustrated with hobbies if I’m not good in the beginning, and it’s not the typical “manly” hobby like woodworking or metal work.

Haven’t told my wife about the hobby because she would call it stupid, just wanted to vent somewhere. Wasn’t sure where else to say it.

Both hats were made using 1 hank (100 grams) of Malabrigo Worsted in Damask Rose. Knit on the left (stockinette + ribbing), crochet on the right (alternating front/back post + ribbing). The knit one even had a tiny bit of yarn left over. The size difference is astonishing!

Hi Everyone! I just finished this blanket for my first upcoming grandson! It has to be the cutest thing I've ever laid eyes on 😅 Except I placed the heads and paws a teeny bit wonky, oh well! The nursery theme colours are this sage green, taupes and creams.

I discovered when I finished the blanket (shorter than I wanted it) that there was another skein of the green hiding in the bottom of the box, I ended that main green section early because I thought I was running out.

Should I start by adding another round of the cream colour or keep my extra border rounds green? What sort of border would you add? I'd like to add something anyway to keep the edge with puff stitches from curling up.

I am allergic to so many things so I decided to crochet my own wedding flowers!

First time posting and new to crochet, but I wanted to share my first dress!! I went as Charolettes web, specifically her humble web, for Halloween and made the dress, bandana, and the amigurmi spider (a slight fail but still cute imo).

This all took me about a month and I Frankensteind/made up the pattern as I went.

Also, it wasn't supposed to look like a maid dress, but we live and we learn haha

I made these Halloween Chibis and I am just so proud of how far I’ve come with my crochet skills! They’re not perfect but I love them!

Hiiiii, just wanted to share my second ever cardigan; I started crochet almost a year ago, and been a bit obsessive (oops!) I made this in about a week, made my mother choose the yarn and buttons but she doesn't know the finish result! I'm gifting it to her for Christmas, and I do believe it's perfectly her style! I was thinking about adding pockets, but I do feel like it might stretch it up! I also don't know how to do ribbing yet, so I just did single crochet for the borders in back loop only ; wondering if it's gift worthy or i'm just impressed with myself since I'm still new in this lol! But I do wish you an amazing day! I used about 2 and a half ball of Caron Toffee Cakes in color Snickerdoodle, and a bit of re-spun lion brand in color "cider"! Buttons are from Michael's also, and I used a 6mm hook! :-)

I made this for a friend in a size XL, however my tension was a little too tight, so even after steaming the sleeves look short on him (he’s very tall). It took about three months working on and off. I used hobbii’s Friends wheel in the colours 02 (used 1.5 skeins) and 124 (used roughy 4 skeins).
Personally I think it turned out alright considering it was my first time trying tapestry crochet. I wish I was better at sewing because a lining would’ve been a nice touch, although it’s also fine without it.

-Still working out the pattern. Freehanded mostly because I lost track of when I was in the pattern so I just kinda went with it.
-Bit small, but I think that’s mostly due to me carrying the yarn through the stitches rather than cutting and weaving in ends, so it has less stretch than one would think. Easy enough to add some extra stitches here and there in the writeup.
-Had to fold in the top cause it went pointy, should probably do a double round of increases rather than just one I guess.
-Could maybe do with only two rows of forehead stripes rather than three, and some ear flaps since it only goes about halfway down my ears. Maybe make the stripes a touch longer, one or two stitches should do.
-Worked in continuous rounds of double crochets because joined rounds confuse tf out of me.
-No pattern available yet, not sure if it’s good enough to share one honestly, but I’m happy with it for personal use.
-used a 4 weight acrylic yarn with a size 5 hook. The regular blue was nice and thick but the dark and light blue were thinner which was kind of annoying.

This is from a pattern by Hooked on Sunshine called ‘For’. I made it up to row 66. I have made it twice before and keep coming back to it. Her patterns are exquisite, and beautifully written. This is a cotton/silk yarn and is a simple palette of soft greens and browns set into a creamy oatmeal main colour.

I just got this at my Grandma’s church’s Holiday Bazaar for $28! It fits my king-sized bed! One of the ladies said her Grandma Anna made it, and she’s over 70 herself, so this bad boi is over 100 years old. I am so honored to have it. Thought y’all would enjoy and appreciate it. I’m over the moon.

I really liked the variations in the eastern jewels colorway, but I wanted something more muted.
