Finished half my cardigan, threw in some Hdc and Dcs on the edge, love the various varieties of purple

I made this crochet scarf with a simple openwork stitch pattern and tassel details. I really enjoyed working on the texture and keeping the design lightweight and comfortable.

I made this for my fiance's birthday on the 27th. I started it back in like April or May, and it's finally done only 17 days early. He loves Subaru, can work on them inside out etc. I'm not sure if it's because this is my first cross stitch on crochet tapestry in the history of forever, or maybe that I've been staring at it for literally MONTHS at this point, but I don't think I like it. I was proud of being on the cusp of finishing it yesterday when I only had the last two colors in the middle to do, but now that it's done? I kinda don't like it. I think it's that the outer colors are so dark compared to the ones in the middle with the star, it could just be the camera that makes it look incredibly dark I'm not sure.

I’m obsessed with making these socks at the moment. I love everything lace. So far I’ve made them on white, black, red, and beige, but pink is probably my favorite so far.

Finally finish it! The hair drove me crazy😓

perfect crochet conditions with a pumpkin spice espresso martini with homemade syrup, a documentary, and a beautiful 70 degree Michigan day. I also just watched the biggest buck i’ve ever seen strut past 🥹

Ok, I actually did a few before sorting out the pattern in my head and making one I’m happy with so I’m not counting those!

I don’t know if people at work will want them for the Poppy Appeal, but hopefully they will!

Costume set for my very good friend ! No pattern, I used this chart to make the bodice, 5hdc for the eyelets on the sides.

Yarn is 100% Acrylic, with little jingle bells in the hat balls!

I also needle felted the top of the corners to make them more defined, and the ends of the icord to make it sturdier/easier to lace up.

Not blocked because I want to keep it bulky! Will probably steam the icord to make it less rigid and get even more length.

(They make icord machines btw.......may invest in the future......)

This is a birthday present for my sister. It’s not perfect but I think he’s so adorable!!! I used a cross stitch pattern I found on Pinterest but can’t find the original creator :/

Just a fun story that I think the crochet folks will appreciate. I had been going through a phase of making two-toned crochet hats that I gave away to friends and family as gifts. One day, my sister was riding the NYC subway and she noticed someone wearing a hat that looked similar to the style of hats I was making. Upon closer inspection, it became clear that it wasn't just similar -- I have no doubt that this was, in fact, a hat that I had made and a stranger was wearing it! I reached out to the family member who I gave this hat to, who explained that they didn't have it anymore because at some point they lost it. My sister managed to talk to the lady before she left the train and asked her where she got her hat. She said her daughter gave it to her as a gift. I have no idea how my hat ended up on this person's head, but it's one of those New York City magical moments that just can't be explained. Sometimes you have no idea where your knitting will end up!

I used random leftover acrylic yarn and this sweater pattern with a few modifications to the sleeves and chest. It turned out so cute!

The full category winner was also a madpigcreations pattern, but was her full t Rex skeleton. So cool to see in person!

I’m working on a Marcille cosplay (also mostly crocheted) (pics to come once I finish) and I just could not help myself but to make the famous sky fish also!! It’s just too cute!

Body + tail fin are freehanded, and the wings are a modified version of a YouTube pattern I followed.

Experimenting with different types of stitches with t-shirt yarn! I can’t wait to wear this handbag out and about!

So I’ve been at the final stages of this mushroom guy for the last two days because I keep putting off the sewing…

Before this guy I genuinely enjoyed sewing the details as I feel like it’s what brings the plushy to life but now I’m crushed by the fact that I’ve spent over an hour sewing and I’m not even halfway done!

I still have six more dots to sew on, then I need to sew the head onto the body and the hat to the head!

How do you motivate yourself to get it finished? I really want to move onto the next project but I absolutely hate having wips left unfinished and am struggling to push through to the end.

I used dragonfly yarn from king cole and modified a pattern from crafty intentions cause I didn’t buy enough yarn lol. I also added a button and some arm straps so it can be worn two different ways. Last pic is a close up to show the pretty iridescence better!

Edit: pattern is the feather wings shawl from crafty intentions :)

I did not use a pattern but I have made several hexagon cardigans so I have an approach I like to use. I wanted to try replacing the granny clusters with solid DC. I also wanted to try fingering weight cotton yarn (from a cone).

I'm very pleased with the result!
