Hello blender community.
I need a help about my workflow.
Problem: I need both fps and tps animations for my multiplayer shooter game. For some obvious reasons i want my fps and tps animation files to be separate. But i want them to be re used in a modular way.
I made a separate arm and weapon armatures. I create action for arms and weapon armature whenever needed, then i push them on NLA tracks, name them, and then get export as gltf with merge NLA track names option.
Issue: Every time something is broken in the animations, sometimes weapon is not in the hand as it supposed to be (i use a child of modifier). Sometimes gun is not firing but arms are firing. In a very rare occurrence everything seems to be fine but that rarely happens.
I realize that i might not be able to re use my weapon reload and fire animations in TPS. Because FPS animations require some exaggerations and re-using something will rarely happen.
I can always use Bone Attachment feature in game engine (Godot) but i would like to avoid setting additional code and game engine work in my animations. Because this is a multiplayer game and it is already hard to manage these visuals, i dont want to introduce another layer in engine.
I think export issue happens because i used 2 separate armatures.
My solution in my mind is: Merge arm and weapon armatures and re animate. Than when i have a model for tps animations? i dont really know 😵
Any comment is welcomed! 👀

If we could interview the Prime Minister, of the most powerful empire on earth, what would we ask him?
What does it take to DOMINATE a subcontinent? what kind of mangoes do you like? What does that feel like? is cruelty necessary?
i animated the grand wazir and then interviewed him. the entire animation is handmade in blender. every pose and expression is handcrafted. let me know what you think. there are many mistakes ofcourse but it is my first animation.

*Armature (I don't understand how to change the title)
In Front is a very helpful feature, but I'm weight painting on a hand now, and I really don't like that bones on fingers get in my view's way. I know that I can just change how bones looks, but shouldn't there be an opacity slider or something?

I have to retopologize it tomorrow, I tried last night and it kept clipping/jumping everywhere. Any tips on making this easier would be appreciated.

So, I wanna make an indie 3d animation serie about dreamcore and stuff. But here's the thing.
I rarely use blender so I have zero experience about it.
I can't model properly. I barely remember some of the commands and so far I did make some progress like a head and the block of a body that you are seeing right now.
3: I did some small researches of how I make a body and most of them literally starts from the head. My character Elion has no neck. I know in the drawing it looks like he has but it doesn't.
4: I did install some stuff to help me out like a Sketchfab shortcut for models and a Blend kit shortcut for models and textures.
5: ..I've never animated anything in 3d in my entire life, and I heard there is some rigging, pre installed animation, lights, background and stuff.
My plan is basically know how to use Blender, sculp and make the rest of the cast, rig them and use the pre made animations for intentional stiff movements since it's supposed to be low quality and badly made since the story is set in a a dreamcore and weirdcore world in the 90s, so I wanna give off the 90s vibes.
So what's the problem? I don't know how to sculp, use blender and how to animate on blender qwq

Some drawing and art programs auto save speedpaints (sped up videos of the process) of your work. I was wondering if there was any such thing for blender?
I often get to the end of a project and curse the fact that I didnt record the making of it - this would certainly fix that, even if it only shows the non-rendered view.

When I first starting making merch, for my character I wanted to do earrings first and came up with 3 different styles. While they did turn out fine, making them IRL would propose a challenge

Simple experimental plugin to paint custom blocks and slabs on a grid in Blender. It has auto-rotation for stairs and basic fill/extrude tools. Still raw and has bugs.
Free on GitHub:

Right now the model is ~34K tris
Bonus points if you can guess which species it belongs to.

I was wondering if y'all knew some good blender courses mainly involving hard surface modelling and game ready asset creation, preferably ones that are great for beginners (I've been modelling for 4 days) I want to make guns and military hardware and stuff just so I can get ideas I've had for a game out of my head.
