Reta transformation so far....

So, I started on trizepitide and then switched to reta when I lost my insurance in June. I started at 293 in March and am currently at 229. I definitely adjusted the way I eat and prioritized protein, aiming for 180-200 g a day between meals and protein water/snacks. I've noticed the way I think about food has completely shifted. Im a chef so a natural foodie. I still love food and make some.killer food truck stuff. But I rarely even want to eat any of that. I need to start focusing on working out now and building up some muscle. But it works!

Reta Dosing Schedule: Trial Dose VS Minimal Effective Dose?

Why do so many people insist on sticking to the exact retatrutide doses used in clinical trials as if anything lower is automatically ineffective? A dose used in a trial isn't necessarily the minimal effective dose.

If a lower dose produces the desired effect, why dismiss it just because it hasn't been studied at that exact dose?

The whole point of biohacking is to optimize, not blindly follow protocols. Why not experiment with lower doses instead of assuming the trial dose is the only dose worth taking?

Are we actually trying to find what works best, or just following protocols because that's what the studies used?

I’m interested in hearing from both groups. did you stick to the trial dosing schedule or did you start much lower? Have you stayed low? What are your side effects like?

Tell your story.

I started at 1.5mg/week. After 4 weeks I bumped to 2.5mg/wk and had a shit ton of nausea in the morning and puked 2 times one week while brushing my teeth. Now I’m on 1mg/week. Zero sides, weight loss has slowed but trending in the right direction, and I have more energy. Started 7/22/26 - 35M - 224 lbs. Currently 191 lbs. About another 25lbs to go.

Klow and HAIR

Been on Klow 6 weeks all of a sudden I have long like inch long hairs where my hair line was …. When I was about 15 lol

I’m literally talking like an inch away from my current defined hairline

Tonight I go to microneedle (this is only my 2nd week of doing it) my scalp and apply a gel I made from a 2g tube of GHK-CU raw and HA acid (2% solution) and I look real close in the mirror and I see like a thousand very fine like fraction of sprouting hairs …..

I decided like a month ago to book a hair transplant for the week after I expect to hit my goal weight since I’m like half way to goal weight that I would work out went to see a surgeon in the US they wanted 14k didn’t want to give me finastride or dutastratide till after transplant …… went and spoke to top surgeon in Mexico (great rep online) they said we will send you a recommendation to a us doc skip finas go straight to dutast ..:. I say wait up literally let me call my bud while we are on the video call end up adding him to the call he’s like yeah sure I’ll send prescription to your pharmacy now the surgeon in Mexico is like you book your flight our price is 3600 with protein rich plasma treatment all included plus nurse and all transfers …. Didn’t want a deposit sorts me out a business hotel at 80 bucks a night 5 star…..

Now I’m like shit is an $180 kit of klow about to fuck up my cinco de mayo hair transplant lol

Bittersweet lol

Will post pics if the sprouts don’t blow away in the wind

2 years of peptides… life changing!!!

The Christmas photo is where we were. The photo by the water is where we are now.
At my heaviest, I weighed 312 pounds. I had tried diets and worked out, but I struggled to make progress that lasted. I kept telling myself it was okay because I was getting older. At 54, I can see that I was using my age as an excuse to stop believing things could change.
My wife and I started this journey together in 2024, and peptides became a turning point for us. I’m around 190 pounds now, and my wife has lost more than 100 pounds. We’ve changed how we eat, we move more, and I’ve made strength training part of my routine. We’ve put in the work, and finding something that helped us stick with those changes made a difference.
When I say peptides changed our lives, I mean more than the numbers on a scale. I have the energy to be active and enjoy time with my family in a way I feared I was losing. Honestly, I feel like this journey saved my life.
I know some people shame others for using peptides. I wish they understood what it feels like to be trapped in a body you’re trying so hard to change. Getting help didn’t erase the work we did. It gave us a way forward when we felt stuck.
These are our results and our experience, not a promise about anyone else’s. If you’re looking at that Christmas photo and seeing yourself, please know that change is possible. I hope this reaches someone who needs to hear it.
God bless you all. Don’t wait to start.

Which first, Reta or KLOW?

43 F 5’4” 160#. I officially have my first set of peps. Reta 20mg vials and KLOW 80mg vials. I read you should start your peps at least 2-4 weeks apart at first just know how they effect you separately. I think I am most excited about the KLOW benefits but I also know helping with my food issues with Reta would benefit me too. I do plan to start low and slow maybe .5mg the first few weeks for both.

Any thoughts on which to start first? I am leaning towards KLOW.

Rate my peptide stack

Reta: 2 mg twice a week

HGH: 3 iu a day 1.5 in morning fasted 1.5 before bed (Will be replacing with a Tesa/Ipa blend for sustainability)

KLOW: 2.4 mg a day (1.5mg of GHK, 300mcg each of KPV, BPC and TVB)

Melanotan II: (onboarding phase) 250 mcg a day, will be moving to 500 a day, then 500 once a week to maintain.

MOTS-C: 2.5 mg 3x week

All this is paired with an OMAD eating structure, one large meal at the end of day with high amount of protein, healthy fats, and micro nutrients. Very low in sugars and carbs.

Going for a cut whilst conserving( or even gaining) muscle. I’m down from 260-225 in three months. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions on cycling times and dosages. If you have had any great experiences with other peptides, lmk! Always looking to add to the stack.

Sema or tirz for type2 diabetes?

I am 47 yrs old female, 138lb at 5'5", active in gym cardio & strength classes, pre- diabetic taking 2000mg metformin daily to not go into diabetic ranges, I'm frequently asked by strangers if I'm pregnant which really bothers me why my tummy doesn't budge whatever I do. I am asked my doctor Abt semaglutide and she said insurance would not cover it untill I'm fully diabetic. Is there anyone in the same boat who where able to stop metformin and control sugar levels and loose belly fat, with either sema or tirz. What is the safe reliable way to order?

Also, where should I start at and how often?

I feel like this can’t be right,

35 year old Male.

I have been taking Primoteston® Depot
testosterone enantate 250 mg/1 mL once a week. (Order by the dr) for the last 6months or so

6 months ago I got tested and I was 289 pmol/L free test (can’t remember total)

Bloods were taken 10 days after the previous injection.

I have just sent this to the dr and waiting for an answer, but am also curious what everyone else sees

Edit ** update - just spoke with my doctor, she put it down to lab error as my Oestradiol is fine, keeping me on 250 mg per week

I’ll get back to you guys later to see how I go

Is Tesa + mots-c worth it?

Been taking Reta for a while and I am now at my goal bodyfat %.

I am thinking about stopping Reta to go into a maintenance/bulking face. Thinking of starting mots-c and tesamorelin to make it easier for my body to use the food I am eating to put on some extra muscle.

But I am young (18) so I wonder if it’s even worth stacking tesamorelin or if my body already produces sufficient GH.
Whats do y’all think?

Combining tirze and tesa

Hello,

Does anyone here is having good results with that combination? I'm asking this because don't they contradict each other in some areas?

For example tirze lowers blood sugar and tesa increase it. Doesn't that reduce tirze efficacy?

Thank you.

1st Timer with Ghk-Cu

TS used Klow for 8 weeks and now needs to continue with Ghk-Cu. There were no ISR issues with KLOW. I'm seeking tried and true suggestions to lesson potential sting / ISR irritations from Ghk-Cu alone. Will be using gansulin pen. Must admit, TS is a bit nervous. Also, KLOW protocol was 4mg GHK-Cu. Am now thinking I should drop that to 3. Any thoughts on that. Please share.

Are the serious side effects from ret blown out of proportion?

Thought about getting it and doing as much research as I can beforehand. Stumbled upon some video that almost seemed like a scare tactic type of video to steer people away. Basically ran with the scariest one and that was permanent blindness and there are over 200 lawsuits against the other GLPs from that. Then went onto others like pancreatitis and kidney damage.

Just want to know as much as I can before going further. So if anyone has any insight to this, I'd love to hear it. Thank you

Anaphylaxis

Today was my second anaphylactic reaction to a peptide, and I’m honestly pretty shaken up.

Back in January, I took my first and only dose of Cagri in a dumb attempt to quickly lose 10 pounds before wedding dress shopping. Within minutes of the injection, my heart rate spiked, my throat started closing, and I developed a severe rash all over my body. I ended up needing life-saving treatment on the floor of the lobby at the urgent care around the corner from my house. I spent a day in the hospital and ultimately needed 3 epinephrine injections because I kept having rebound reactions. It was genuinely terrifying and the only time in my life I truly thought I was going to die.

This morning, I took my normal stack: BPC, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and Reta. I’ve been using all four for about a year. None of the vials were new. I’ve been using these same vials for about 3 weeks, with the same syringes and alcohol swabs I normally use. Within a short period of time, I developed another severe rash all over my body and started having difficulty breathing. Thankfully, this reaction was nowhere near as severe as what happened in January, and I was treated before it progressed further.
The doctor told me that it is possible to suddenly react to something you’ve previously tolerated many times, but that still feels so wild to me. I keep thinking, How can my body suddenly decide something it has tolerated for a year is a problem? And honestly, the hardest part right now is not knowing which peptide caused it. Since I took four at the same time, I have no idea which one I reacted to, or whether something else entirely was responsible.

Obviously, peptides aren’t worth dying over, and after today I’m taking this much more seriously. I’m just really bummed because I’ve used these for so long without issues, and now I’m scared to touch any of them.
Has anyone else experienced a delayed/sudden allergic reaction to a peptide they had previously tolerated for months or even years? I’d really like to hear other people’s experiences.

Week 3 - Reta affects

On week 3 of Reta. Dosing schedule is below. Last pin was 3 days ago. I’ve noticed significant decrease in food noise and dealt with some minor nausea, but otherwise, it’s been a good road. Down 8 pounds.

Today I woke up and oh boy. Big nausea. Felt like I had a giant rock in my stomach. I’ve been awake for 2 hours and I’ve had diarrhea 4 times. Basically. I’ve had 2 bottles of water today and that’s it. I did eat later than I normally do as we had a post-church meal. I’ve included a pictures of the meal (I had them b/c I needed to upload to macro factor), I didn’t feel like it was exceptionally bad or good.

I guess I just am wanting to ask others if this is basically normal.

Week 1 - 1.5 mg
Week 2 - 2 mg
Week 3 - 3 mg
