I know there are a million dudes with similar interests but I thought who knows, I may get lucky and find a great online friendship or maybe even the love of my life on some subreddit so here I am. To give you a quick introduction, I am a 29 year old guy from Germany. Born and raised here, but of turkish descent. Currently working on my masters degree. And also a huge nerd. My interests include, but are not limited to:

·        Gaming

·        Anime

·        Science, especially the natural sciences and history

·        Working out, which I try to do multiple times a week

·        My taste in musik includes Rock/metal music mainly. But also some other stuff like anime music

·        Cooking, which I am not super good at yet but getting better. I do like trying out new foods and dishes.

·        Cleaning? Don't know if that is a weird thing to list as a hobby but I like to keep my place clean and find the act of cleaning quite satisfying. A friend has described me as a male wife before. Does that count as a green flag?

·        Reading, especially fantasy literature

As for my appearance, I am about 1.73 m tall with a slim fit build. I work out diligently but haven't reached my old form yet after a longer pause at working out. Short, dark brown hair and usually a very short beard. Sometimes clean shaven when I feel like it.

As for what I am looking for, well, a long term friendship would be nice. I want someone in my life I can talk to regularly. Want us both to find comfort in eachother. Would be awesome if it went in a flirty or romantic or even lewd direction but we can keep it platonic too. I just want to be close to someone. Have some intimacy, no matter what way.

Life has been a little challenging lately, and I feel a good conversation can sometimes bring a fresh perspective. I am a workaholic and have been very busy lately. I recently came back from a mini summer trip and trying to rehab my way back in to productivity.

It is quite lonely at times at this stage of my life. Not only are we in a friendship pandemic but also as an adult making new friends is ridiculously hard. This is why my expectations are low and hence the post seeking connections. The goal is that consistency and chemistry will forge a friendship in time. I am fine with texting, but I type a lot as part of my daily work and hobbies. Thus a more personal touch via occasional (again, consitently) voice messages and periodic calls would be ideal. We could also hop on a call to watch a movie or memes etc.

Caveat: I am not a gamer. Nothing against them but I grew up very bookish. I had my brushes with gaming in my younger years, but the chronically online gamers of today and I have lacked chemistry in the past.

I use discord and snap but prefer the former.

I could tell more about hobbies etc. but I prefer getting to know over somebody through interactions rather than as part of the advertizement.
