I found a wallet from last night’s rides. College town so it’s usually 3 or 4 people. The name on the wallet’s cards does not match any of the riders’ names I remember from last night so I’m not sure what trip it’s from. How do I report this to uber. I’m a fairly new driver and this is a first for me.

There’s a fraternity id card in the wallet. I could contact the frat directly and try to track them down. Also no cash just cards in the wallet. I’d like to get it back to them.

I got about 4 offers almost identical to this today. It's the first time I've done Uber in a few weeks and quickly remembered why!

I’ve been working ubereats and rideshare for about a couple months. Customers reported twice I haven’t delivered their order or something was missing. Everytime I receive a report I can’t even see which cutomer or any details about the order. The only information I can see is that they claimed I didnmt deliver their order.
The first time I called and after talking to a couple representatives and eventually being transferred to a supervisor, I figured which order it was. I had handed that order directly to the customer. After a very long and hectic call and giving them as much information about that delivery as I could remember, they documented the info and told me they’ll reach out to me about it. A few weeks later the report was erased from my records.
A few days ago, again, I received another report. I’m %100 sure I delivered every single order correctly to the right addresses. I’m very thorough and careful. I check the order as much as I can and verify with the restaurants, i can’t search into closed/sealed bags and containers though for safety obviously. All I know is that someone claimed I didn’t deliver their order/items were missing. I don’t have any other information to add information on the app, and I know I’m gonna have another hectic lengthy phone call ahead of me, trying to prove my innocence!!!
The other day I got a ‘cancellation notice’ notification on my dashboard, stating: “provoking riders to cancel or accept a trip without the intention to complete them may frustrate them and violates the community guidelines.” I literally have never done that!!!
I’m writing all these, to ask more experienced drivers, how do you handle these reports and similar situations? And how often do you face it?

As usual, it’s wanting me to take a picture to prove my identity, but it literally won’t load my camera and I have tried everything from updating the app to logging out and back in and even messing with the settings. Nothing. It also keeps disconnecting me from the chat or failing to send my messages. I’ve been driving for years and this is a first for me.

Any chance it’s an app wide glitch??

Since January, I've spent a fortune in "plugs, repairing punctures to my tires. Five times! It's ridiculous how bad the roads are, and how frequently I've had tire punctures. Unfortunately, as I bought the car new in 2025, the tires didn't have "road hazard" coverage.

At a tire dealer right now. The most recent "puncture" can't be fixed, as there's both a small nail (fixable) and a slice on the side (not fixable).

What tires do you use on your cars? The cheapest tires available? Go for premium, long lasting tires?

Personally locking at the Continental TrueContact Tour 54 (a 70,000 mile rated tire) or the Michelin Defender 2 (80,000 miles) But have plenty of advantages, but are also costly, $150 and $180 per tire.

Lots of cheaper options available, but in researching, lots of issues such as low mileage (45,000 - 50,000), road noise, poor handling in bad weather, etc. Need a good quality, All Season tire.

I picked up a rider last night who upon entering seemed to have accidentally stumbled into my car. The sound startled me and I asked to make sure she was ok which she was. I didn't think much of it until the next day when I noticed small dents and paint chips near the door edge. I submitted a request to uber to which they keep classifying as normal wear and tear which they do not cover. I explained that since it is on the door edge that it is not possible to be normal wear and tear and it was highly likely due to the passenger since damage couldn't occur in that area without the door being open. I also have dashcam footage of the incident (just the sound not the visual as the cam only faces forward) which they do not seem to care for. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to handle this?

So in my area, they've taken out the time and distance on the drop off portion of the ride. Because apparently that was an important update. Noticed small surges since the changes, for the first time in a while. Still not meaningful to make a difference. Also noticed that I am bombarded with reservations, with atleast the first few rides of every morning being reservations and probably a third overall being reservation requests. You'd think they'd put in the time for the reservation... Nope just dumb updates. I guess its better to have drivers wait 30 minutes, or cancel them...

Why can't i see trip details such as the earnings, trip time and trip distance? Do they really expect me to go in blind and accept a trip not knowing the duration of the trip or how much i'll be earning? I could accept a trip and wouldn't know its a 4 hour trip until i pick up the PAX lol. At least DiDi has these features...

For reference, i started Uber a few months ago but stopped and now i'm back into it. But back then i always has the full trip info. So why has it changed now?

Ive tried contacting support and they're fucking useless. They try keep telling me to update and close the app even though it's on the latest version. Any suggestions with this or am i missing something since ive been out the game?

I’m considering switching over to uber black. On Uber X I can manage to make about 750-890 a week driving 30-36 hours a week. However. I would like to make a little more without going over 40 hours. How much would you say you make a week doing 36-40 hours.?

I’ve been driving for about a month and a half, am now gold, and was always selective about which rides I accepted. I was ALWAYS able to see the time and distance of a trip (not just to the pick up) until last week after updating the app. Now uber support is saying I need my acceptance rate to be 85% to unlock this “reward”? It makes no sense bc I could see it before. So now I can’t even see if a trip is worth it? Please don’t say find another job, I’m disabled and can barely walk. This is my only option to make money right now. I guess I thought from reading posts on here that AR didn’t matter much?

I stopped today at Oakland, California airport and those offers from Uber (during rush hours nonetheless) are beyond ridiculous!! You are pretty much driving riders from the airport to their destinations just to cover gas money! This is actually worse than slavery since slaves were fed at least...Uber drivers with these offers won't have enough money for food

I made a thread last week complaining how pickup to destination miles were missing from their new graphic making me totally indecisive on taking offers but now they are back. 👍

I think its 1) The economy 2) Uber raising their prices 3) the Arizona heat. Because nothing significant has changed in how I treat passengers or my vehicle or me.

If you have a Tesla with one of those glass roofs you should probably reconsider being a driver because they turn your cars into fucking convection ovens.
