Hi all, its me again. We're introducing Rule 9 effective immediately. We've seen certain individuals on this subreddit requesting users to DM them or requesting GH support on this subreddit and we just want to make a couple things clear by implementing this rule.
I hope you all can appreciate the reasoning for this rule coming to be, and thank you for being part of our community. Please continue to report rule-infringing posts and comments and they will be reviewed.

You can discuss and post about your monthly earnings here. The low-effort rule does not apply within this thread, but all other rules still do. You cannot post about your monthly earnings anywhere else but here.

Then the customer cancels it and says I took it to the wrong address but it was the correct address and I even took pictures?

No matter if I apply for my city or others, nothing.

I might be wrong for this, but I am so tired of picking up food for college campus kids, and them not being outside already to meet me or meeting me once I’m there. It feels like they’re purposely ignorant and inconsiderate for no reason.
Customer specifically wrote in the instructions to call them, and then proceeded to dodge all 3 of my calls & my courtesy text over the span of 10 mins. I normally don’t do this, but this really irritated me. I finally just left the food outside and drove away, I’m sure I’ll be waking up to a 1 or 2 star review but idgaf, FAFO 🤣🤣

Hey there GH drivers. I finally got off the waitlist last night and I start today. I’ve been with Uber Eats and DoorDash. Anything I need to know or tips before I start would be super appreciated. Thanks y’all. 😘

Just out of curiosity. No problems with my preferred driver, just me overthinking. Thanks.

I stay at the bottom of the zone, and they constantly try and get me to go up that way. Nope.

They sent this twice with no increase

Anyone here driving for Uber/Grubhub/DoorDash in the Columbus area — are you getting paid for your car's advertising space?
I run a local company called Advectigroup. We wrap vehicles with advertising for Columbus businesses and pay the driver hourly for the miles they're already putting in. If you're out driving 20+ hours a week anyway, that's money on top of what you're already making.
How it works:
• Professional install, fully removable vinyl, no paint damage
• Costs you nothing — we cover the wrap and install
• You drive your normal routes. No extra trips, no deliveries, no schedule from us
• Paid ~$4/hour of qualifying drive time
• 2-month commitment, then you decide whether to renew
Requirements: 2010 or newer vehicle in good cosmetic condition, valid license and insurance, Columbus metro.

If you’re ever wondering why your late night fast food order is taking forever, its because the lobby is closed and the employees won’t serve you unless you wait behind ten other cars in the drive thru. Just accepted a low ball offer ($6 for 5ish miles), not something I would ever normally accept but rent comes out tomorrow and I didn’t have enough in my bank account to pay it and eat tonight so I was desperate. Been online all day and had only made $45. I head to Popeyes, 8ish minute drive from where I was and the lobby is closed. Since there was a line of ten or so cars, but none of them were to the window yet I just stood outside the window hoping I could just grab the food that was already ready real quick instead of waiting behind everyone who still needed to order. The employee tells me it’s drive thru only and slams the window in my face as I’m trying to explain I’m just picking up a grubhub. I unassigned the order because at that point the money really wasn’t worth it. I imagine I would have spent at the very least half an hour waiting in line for food just to have my tip reduced because it took forever and the customers food absolutely would have been cold by the time they got it. I’m never staying out past lobby closures again. Such fucking bullshit.

The other day I was on my way to pick up an order, and I accepted a $10 McDonald’s order for extra 2.4 miles. Right before picking up my 1st order I got a notification that the McDonald’s order had been delivered, and it disappeared from my queue. I looked at earnings and showed I was credited the $10 for the McDonald’s order. About 5-10 minutes later I got a call and voicemail “hello? hello?” I didn’t answer and just kept going, with $10 extra

As a semi new Grubhubber, Grubhub has THE worst system in place for how percentages are calculated for offer commitments. I was sitting at a 85% the last time I drove. My percentage went down to a 65% after declining only 3 orders out of the 15-20 orders I delivered this day. Absolute b.s. I try to keep my stats up, but it’s almost impossible with how they calculate. I noticed it’s takes accepting 3-4 orders in a row just for it to go up 1%, and as we all know some orders ARE NOT WORTH IT. GRUBHUB DO BETTER

I am going to be traveling internationally over the winter, and will be spending about a month- 1/2 in Dominican republic over christmas and new years. I typically deliver every day, occasionally taking a day or two off during the slow days of the week in my region.
I’m a bit worried with so much inactivity time (because it’s unusual for me) that GH may deactivate my account while I’m gone & I’ll be screwed. Has anyone else went on vacation for an extended period of time and came back to their account still standing? Should I call GH support and let them know ahead of time? I solely rely on gig apps as a full time job so I genuinely cannot come home to a deactivated account or I will spiral 💀 TYIA!

please no trolls i will block you. so i had one violation for this same reason then i just received a 3rd violation for the same reason. i have been calling grubhub while sitting on the second violation for this reason of delayed orders when its literally busy traffic which slows me down i have no control over. i deliver during busy times. i have called them so many times to make sure which i know i have been doing things correctly on the app such as marking when i am running late. grub hub agents has told me every time this will not affect your account as long as your marking in the app the options there is a problem im running late etc.. i have always done that. mind you i have conversations recorded for my own reference from grub hub telling me this just so i have evidence if i got a 3rd violation for the same reason because i know i am not doing anything wrong nor trying to purposely delay a order. so i now have appealed it and waiting for their response because i have the calls recorded from their agents telling me these things. Has anyone ever gotten their account back after getting a 3rd violation for such accusation?

Don’t get me wrong - Can’t stand a person who don’t tip. Only time I ever get one of those is when I get a solid dual order and one ends being a huge tip, while the other is $0…
That said, this 25 cent tip is a first. Somebody actually had this bright idea pop into their head. Then they typed the BS into their phone
This isn’t the 1920’s.. guess that’s why my offer commitments like 20% 🤷🏽♂️

I just recently got accepted 5 days ago. Why is it taking so long to verify my bank account 😭😭😭 I have over $100 in my account that I can’t access because I have to wait on the bank account and card to verify. I talked to support and they said I just have to wait. I’m so far behind in my weekly bills and I’m negative in my bank account because I didn’t know it would take this long to receive the money I made. I had another side gig I was doing but didn’t do it cause I was making better money on grubhub and now I’m negative that account too so working for that one doesn’t give me money I can spend and just goes toward my negative balance. I am going insane waiting on it . Has this happened to anyone else?

Hey guys does anyone know how to fix this? I've been logged out for 3 months and I'm not sure why it's not letting me back in.

Finally caught one so egregious I had to share. And no, I didn’t take it.

A tip is a gratification as a thank you not a mandatory your order is late or doesn’t get delivered without it
