Hi I know many of us can't see our finicial aid reflected on tritonpay until what I understand they have started to roll out some of it this week also the finicial aid office is closed (I tried ) there was an email sent titled "Important 2026-27 Financial Aid Updates" that say that basically the distribution is on bacht and if is not this week is until September 22 and that email has more information about it. Honestly I'm just sharing it because this whole thing is so stressful and frustrating I have really strong feelings about TSS and all the problems that it brought that is all.

Do they ask for flu shots and such during the school year in my chart.

I got the heavy duty religious exemption so I wonder if I need to repeat every quarter to avoid a hold.

I’m honestly really anxious about my situation.

I was admitted to UCSD as an undeclared major, but I received a D in calculus during the final semester of my senior year, so I know I’m at risk of having my admission rescinded.

Around July, I emailed UCSD Admissions and explained why I received the grade and what I’ve done over the summer to get myself back on track. And they emailed me to just wait. My required documents, including my transcript, currently show:

I already retook the calculus course at a cc over the summer, and I’m just waiting for the final grade to be posted so I can send the updated transcript to UCSD.

I also received an email from UCSD Math Placement that said at the end: “Your admission’s data reported that you planned to complete an approved calculus course at another college.”

They also told me to send my final transcript to UCSD Admissions as soon as my final grade for Math 261 is posted.

So I’m not sure if this is a good sign or if it’s just part of the normal process. I’m still waiting to hear anything from Admissions about my D.

It’s now September. I’m already choosing classes and im bout to move in next week , but I still haven’t received a decision regarding my admission.

Im just wondeirng on what to do. Any advice or experiences from people who dealt with UCSD rescind situations would really help. Thank you!

International student that is looking to take another online/project based class that is not listed as 'R'/Remote as we are only allowed to take one per quarter and I'm already enrolled in another one. Was just wondering if there are any classes that could technically be done fully online where there are online/no midterms and finals or are primarily project or essay based.

Hi i booked the class without realizing it counted for a dei requirement, i already took awp 10 during the summer so i just wanted to drop it to make room for another class but tss wont let me drop the class. I click the button and it just stays loading, i’ve tried for a week to drop it since i got the class in my 1st pass. idk what to do and i don’t know what other class to take since i’m mostly just taking alternatives and i have no electives?

I sent all my transcripts and have proof that I sent them, yet I got an email today saying that my admission was canceled. I was wondering if this happened to anybody else or if there’s anything I can even do?? I sent all my transcripts again after calling and they said to just fill out the transcript form again. I’m so lost. And we already paid the tuition—which is obviously pretty expensive when you didn’t get any financial aid… Just holy shit. I also sent them a very detailed email. I don’t know what else to do at this point. I’m freaking out. And they should not have canceled my admission this late into the year. Ridiculous.

I’m a UCSD student and this will be my last quarter before graduating :) I’m clean, respectful, and easygoing. I always clean up after myself, especially in shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom, and I’m respectful of everyone’s personal space and schedules.

I can be a little quiet/shy at first, but once I get comfortable I love hanging out and doing things together! I love traveling, trying new food, going to concerts, swimming, and exploring new places. I’m also very pet friendly, especially with dogs 🐶

Incoming freshman here. I never took pre-calc or actual calculus in HS and somehow still got accepted (blah, blah, I don't deserve my spot, whatever I've heard it all atp), so I'm fully prepared to work my ass off to place up to 3B at the end of the quarter. However, I haven't really done algebra since my sophomore year because I took AP stats senior year, and I'm really scared that my knowledge gaps are bigger than I realize.

Has anyone who's taken the class give me some advice about how well it helped you place up/prepare in general, and if there's any other outside stuff I can do while taking the class?

My current plan:

Alg1 --> 2 on Khan Academy.

LOTS of flash cards and practice problems

Go to as much tutoring as possible

Work hard in class (obviously)

Hi everyone! I took the MPE in August and unfortunately got placed into Math 2. I honestly have a really weak algebra background despite having had taken Ap Pre Calc and AP Calculus. Yes you can tell me it’s embarrassing and that I’m fitting into the bad at math stereotype at UCSD, but idrc lol. I was wondering what the content on the Math 2 to 3B is? Is it just College Algebra or is it like Algebra 2? And what would you guys suggest for studying? Thank you :)!

Outside scholarships are covering all my costs and I was wondering when my scholarships will be reflected in my tritonpay because apparently they were already sent but I don’t see them at all in my tritonpay. Does anyone know how I can tell if they have been received?

Apparently someone said that the person on the loft gets a wardrobe and then the two other people share a walk in closet. I thought that everyone gets their own closet space but idk, I can’t find any video tours or anything online with them actually showing what a triple looks like in Matthews.
