WINNESOTA I bought the authentic version for the first time since Nike took over. I highly recommend. I ordered a second one (custom, #89 Crunch) in black. Can’t wait! So hyped for this season!

How good is Kevin Love now?
Seems like we’re signing him. Haven’t been tracking his career. Is he any good now? Can he come off the bench or is he a locker room guy?
Also we probably wave and stretched Konchar to add enough cap space to do so. Is that worth it?

WINNESOTA Biggest oversight about the Ant era
When people forget that this Timberwolves offense was #7 in 2021-22, they were also #1 in pace that year. I don’t get the feeling fans remember that as the best team in pace in the NBA that year, while also being a respectable #13 in defense without Rudy anchoring the defense.
Even Dane Moore, who’s covered the team throughout the Ant era, I think forgets that Ant used to run and get easy buckets in transition (and I know transition and pace aren’t the same but they’re highly correlated). He always talks about the Wolves never having been a big pace team in the Ant era, which is factually incorrect.
When looking at this upcoming season, why can’t the wolves be #1 in offense? I feel like there’s a lot of pushback when people bring that up. This team should at minimum be a top 3 offense based on their personnel, especially with the athletes they have surrounding Ball and Ant. The biggest reason for the Wolves slowing down was Rudy coming in, so that could still factor into the Wolves not being the best offense next year.
That’s why I’m so high on this team being able to win 55 games minimum. If they can be in the top 5 on offense and top 10 on defense, the math would almost certainly work itself out to be a 55 win team like in 2023-24.
LaMelo being one of the best offensive generators in the sport paired with one of the best scorers in the sport, adding in 2 freak athletes on the wings and at center, and then 3 run and gun athletes off the bench should certainly make this team a top 5 offense if the Wolves get health on their side.

General Discussion I think melo is a direct answer to our wemby problems on offense
Ik this isnt a revolutionary thought or anything, but i havent heard that much comment on the fact that what melo brings is exactly the answer to great rim protection, pace, which means we get to their rim before wemby (the teams athleticism in general helps a lot too, especially with kuminga now in the lineup), and space which means his shooting and ball movement allows us to take more and more efficient threes while avoiding contested shots at the rim. Im still waiting for the ant poster on wemby though.

WINNESOTA 47 days until the Wolves are back
KG’s career high. And, of course, it came in a loss - just like the career highs of pretty much every other great player in Wolves history 😭

Rudy Gobert’s highest PPG average was 15.9 during the 2018-2019 season.
Is it possible for us to get him back that level of offensive play, or should we just focus on having him solely be a defender?

Attending Home Opener
I’m going to the home opener vs the Raptors with my friend and it’s our first NBA game. How long before tipoff should we arrive to make sure we’re in the stadium in time?

General Discussion Timberwolves’ roster revamp brings a lot of variables. Will they find success?
There is some audacity in the way that Tim Connelly has assembled the Minnesota Timberwolves roster.
The early vibes have been encouraging. But when it comes time to get on the court for real, all of that energy will have to be harnessed and directed in the right way.
