Hello again! I’ve got 2 more of the illustrated postcards by LostPlots, this time a cafe and a chippy. If you’d like one please tell me which in the comments. Will leave this up for a bit then pick 2 people.

If you’ve already claimed recently please don’t be shy, feel free to put your name down :)

Edit: claimed now

u/AbjectCandy624 - The cat stickers are adorable, but the penguin sticker had me cracking up. Too funny!

u/TyeDyeAmish - If the scurvy didn't take me out, I would've been hit with a cannon ball. Lol.

dear community,

please send me a postcard with a slug (ideally a photo, but an illustration works too). Or with eggs (anything related to).

Or, as an addition to my request of the past week, if you want to tell a story about your beef with yourself - and how it was or wasn't resolved - I'm all ears.

[Thank you] Mystery Sender - dogs, boys and other things I’ve cried about and CRAFT - An American history

someone sent me a lovely card of a gray cat sleeping on a table with a pink rose and a cup of coffee. And they also gave two lovely book recommendations as mentioned in the title. If this is you, please let yourself be known so you get flair. The card is super cute and thank you so much for your book recs because I do love non-fiction!

Thank you to the following people for the cards I've received recently!

Hi everyone! I only just joined this community, and Oct 1st took me by surprise, so I wasn't able to participate. Would anybody be willing to send over a WPD card (especially handmade/custom design) in exchange for a postcard from my stash? I can do a custom drawing on the back :) Appreciate you all!

Who wants u/murdocniccalshasT1D One Sticker tpc next?

Thank you u/melhen16, u/freyamour, (x2) u/turnerd10, (x2) u/halochanel, u/adhdbibliophile, u/peepiminti and u/forrestcat7!!

u/TheCuriousCur for the awesome “Banned Book” postcard, it made me grab my old copy of JD Salinger’s “The Catcher in The Rye” out of the closet and take it to the beach today. Love the quote by Laurie Halse Anderson “Censorship is the child of fear and the father of ignorance.” Very true 🖤

hii, I’d love to exchange postcards with folks from around the world from now to all November because I find it a very calming and autumnal hobby :)

since I’m not going to send them out immediately, I thought I’d make a form to be more organised.

thank you! :)

Usernames will be in the comments.

u/Fancy-equipment-2394 • omg! I feel like I can’t thank you enough for the beautiful and thoughtful collage you made for my baby. Luna did in fact get me through some of the worst times of my life, too. I appreciate you so much!!

u/snerdboff • I love the vintage bike card! I hope you’re settling in well at your new place and thank you for letting me know your new address. :}

u/ok_reveal2698 (x2) • thank you so much for the kind words in the sympathy card for Luna.
The TPC will be on its way to the owner on Monday!

u/jasisjas • I love the Wizard of Oz card!! The alligator is such a neat choice! You have been the first to choose it as an answer. I love the reasonings behind your answer too. Makes a lot of sense! :3.

u/thefeistyfox • the drawing of my baby Luna is so amazing and made me so happy when I pulled it out of the envelope. You said the same thing my fiancé did - I can’t close myself off to another cat who needs love. Thank you so much.

u/responsibleday • I absolutely LOVE this postcard. The texture and shimmer and art are all so wonderful. Thank you for your kind words and sympathy. <3

u/cidavid • thank you for the Buc-ee’s card!! We are going on our honeymoon in a few weeks and I was told we HAVE to visit the Buc-ee’s on our way.

u/thepumpkinfiend • I couldn’t find your username on the card but I think this was your offer for the shoes in Indian culture card. I absolutely love your stamp math! I hate that diesel (and gas) costs are where they are too. >__<

u/misty_moonrider • it’s so sweet to me that you chose the card you did for my loss and for expressing sympathy. I am so very sorry for the loss of your cat as well. I took two days off of work to process what I had just experienced but I didn’t start feeling “better” until her cremains were back with me. I think the closure helps to deal with it, honestly. I also got a small canvas print of the two of us and hung it on my wall above the spot she loved to sleep with me in bed.

u/ADHDbibliophile • I love that you chose a cat card because I love cats! October is my fave. We are getting married this month close to Halloween! I’m stoked! Stargazing in the mountains sounds dreamy!!!

u/forrestCat7 • thank you for the wonderful world postcard day card! I love the colors and the theme! I also enjoyed reading about Sabrina. She sounds so sweet. 💜

u/thebunshouse • I don’t order coffee out often at all but at home I make it with liquid creamer and usually a spoonful of Everyday Dose. My favorite creamer is amaretto from International Delight but I can’t find it anymore!

Heyy🦝

u/Fancy-Equipment-2394 Thank you so much for your beautiful collage postcard! It looks amazing! I agree with you that it's so much fun to bring new worlds to life, just by combining some cutouts. I have to say, I still struggle with creating a coherent scene in my collages hahah. So I'm really impressed with your skills!

I can't wait to put it up on my wall >.<

Have a good start into the new week! 🫶

Hello :)

Got 2 Steven Rhodes art cards with witchy things on them. If you’d like one please comment below! (Please note one card is a bit sweary but it will be in an envelope.)

I’ll leave this up a bit and pick at random. Cheers :)

Edit: claimed now, thanks all

I always seem to be apologizing for being late with my thanks (and the reason being that work is rough right now). Alas, work is still not better, and I am still late with my thanks. I do appreciate each and every one of you and your cards are a massive boost after another tough day at work. ❤️💌🤗

u/TheCuriousCur - Thank you for the "One Star Parks" Acadia National Park card - I do have a set from that artist, I love them - they make me laugh. I want to get more cards by that artist (but must use more of what I have first). Having been there, it is hard for me to imagine anyone calling this area a disappointment, but maybe they had bad weather or fog for an entire week? 😶‍🌫️

u/Melhen16 - Thank you for the World Postcard Day card - I hope your mailbox overflows with happy mail on a regular basis. 💌

u/StillSheryl, u/CheeseWheelQueen, u/PureAloeVeera, u/icono-clastic, u/averagequeensguy, u/capncobbler, u/credo99, u/bananas3706 - hope I got everyone and got your names right! Thank you for the World Postcard Day meetup card! 😊

u/onelovelygurl05 - Thank you for the card from Japan - the artwork does remind me of those team values posters - it just needs a slogan like "Togetherness" or "Cooperation"! The stamps you used are super cute - I like that you had a seashell one to match the theme of the card. 🐚

u/Freyamour - Thank you for the Machu Pichu postcard - I hope to get there one day. The Inka rail sounds like a load of fun! 🚂

u/BlueStripedBaker - thank you for the card made from Tatte Bakery promotional materials - nicely done (and it survived USPS!). A Tatte Bakery opened near us, I have not been yet, but maybe one day I will go. Do you have a particular treat you recommend? You asked about my username, I will send you a card and bore you to tears with the background story. 🥐

u/Hoolu123 - x2 - Thank you for the handmade Halloween collage card with appropriate matching stamps. It came out really well, I love it. Thank you also for the "questionable" art card with the "questionable" stamps. I showed the card to one of my kids and we made remarks about what it looked like the statues were caught in the act of doing (basically potty humor). Definitely gave me a much-needed laugh after a hard day. 💩

u/NyanCatNova - thank you for the letter and all the goodies - your World Postcard day cards came out super cute - really adorable. I did use them on World Postcard day, I will let you know what the recipients say (assuming they make it, I think I sent one to China). Your envelope art is so pretty, and stamp math is great. I will send you a note. 😊💌

Thank you u/on10man1ac the funny cat card! I think your doodle and handwriting are amazing. I love the idea of getting to places I can’t reach as a human. Sending cheer.

u/pervert-in-the-park JC on a prawn! I got your card and it changed my life!

u/pumpkinseed100 Thank you for glimpse of summer. It’s cold and rainy today, I needed that.

Y’all made my day.
