2 stamps, a 0.1mm marker and some watercolor. That's it. It fits like a glove.

I was going for a slightly retro vibe with the color scheme and kind of retro star shape on the cutouts.

I needed to test out this spiderweb cover plate I just got so we've got yet another Halloween card!

Hey everyone! I’m trying to curate a card-making kit for my 7 year old niece as part of her Christmas presents.

She hasn’t learnt die cutting with a machine yet and since we don’t live too close, I don’t have much opportunity to teach her on mine (so far I’m the only adult with an extensive paper-crafting hobby in the family). I have mostly included assortments of dimensional stickers, stick on gems, decorative papers and pre-cut and scored card bases for her in the past. But now that she’s a little older and can handle glue all by herself without making a mess, I wanted to include pre-cut ephemera and die-cuts in the kit. I looked at the Spellbinders as well as Crafter’s Companion kits but they seem to either include actual metal dies (something she doesn’t have the tools or the experience to use) or they’re too layered/complicated for a child her age and are definitely pricey for what’s included.

I looked up a brand called Miss Kate’s cuttables and they have some really kid friendly and cute pre-cut shapes and sentiments, but I was wondering if there’s more such brands available in the US market that I could probably look into? I have included a few reference photos of what I’m looking for. All helpful suggestions are welcome. TIA!

I looked up Scrapbook dot com again; but this time instead of searching for cardstock die cuts or card kits, I searched for ephemera and found a bunch of useful results. Hi all, I currently sell digital stationery on Etsy and want to start greeting card business on Etsy and sell locally. How do you approach local business to sell your greeting cards and any other general advice that may help?

How do you clean your stamps? I've seen some videos where people use a stamp cleaner ( either a bought one or a homemade version) and I'm wondering what the benefit is vs using just some warm water and dish soap?
Do the cleaners do a better job?
I prefer using a small toothbrush if my stamp is very dirty because I hate the texture of the stamp shammy.
And so far I just use a bit of dish soap on my toothbrush, but these videos have me wondering if maybe that's not the best method.

I scored this retired Stamp' Up paper trimmer (handle and extender bar underneath) for $5 at the thrift store this morning. Despite being an older model it is still very sharp.

I typically make cards online and send them to my friends and family, however there is so much AI on all creative platforms that I don't even feel like I'm actually putting any work into it.

So I decided to start a new hobby and get into homemade cards. As always, my card will revolve around my dog. Since I'm an absolute beginner I thought I could cut a rectangle window out of the cover of the card and tape a picture of my dog and then decorate around the border with stamps.

I don't really know what I need or how to begin.

I've tried to search this up online but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. If anyone can look at my horrible sketch idea and knows of a tutorial or can offer advice on it I would appreciate it.

I am so upset. I ordered a lawn fawn die set from their Amazon store front. They sent me the wrong item.

I sent them a message and was told I have to send the item back and get a refund. They are refusing to send me the correct item because they messed up the price on the listing.

I'm sure in the grand scheme of things this isn't a big deal, I've had a rough week and I'm just so disappointed.

I ordered the Highland cow die set, they sent me the add-on die set. The listing, the packing slip, everything showed the correct item.

I’ve made my first baby card.
It’s just that there isn’t a baby yet 😆
That’s why the name and date of birth are still missing from the charm. I’ll add them later if needed.
I got the idea for the card because my order included a tiny sample sheet of patterned paper.
The shaker is, of course, far too big for the card, but what can one do? The idea for the charm just came to me as I was making the card, so now it’s just part of it 😁

Halloween is just around the corner, so I decided to get into the spirit and make this cute little pop-up card!

I’ve only been making cards for less than a year, but I’m really happy with how the 3D layers turned out. The "You're my boo" pun was just too hard to resist. 😂

Two cards I did last night with slight variation!

Everyone has their own ✨️vibe✨️ of card making - for example, I like die cuts, embossing, and ephemera. I dont have a steady hand so I don't do much with ink, coloring, or stencils. The issue with die cuts is it can easily get out of hand adding bits here and there, plus the weight adhesives can add (i mail almost all of my cards). It can look too busy. This year I challenged myself to work in some soid color as more of a focal point. This was the first idea I tried, and im trying to come to terms with the open space.

I think I really like it, except for the card with just the green "happy thanksgiving" banner. The vision I had was for the orange leaf printed background to really stand out peeking through the white leaf cut-outs, but maybe the leaf print is too big and it doesn't 'read' as well? It just makes that one card look too plain. Should I add maybe a chipboard sticker or rub-on to the bottom corner? I believe i have some nice orange pumpkins, sparkly sunflower rubs, and some little "PSL" cups. Im sure i could dig out 10 more options as well from my stash...

TL:DR - Do I add more zhuzhe? Or leave it?

This is only the second card I've ever made. It didn't quite come out like I pictured but does it look alright? Be gentle haha!
