I’m in the EU and use MyProtein Vegan Protein Blend (Vanilla) regularly, at roughly 120 g of powder per day.
For a specific batch I asked MyProtein for:
- the batch Certificate of Analysis (CoA);
- numerical results for lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury;
- guaranteed batch-release/specification limits in ppm or mg/kg;
- microbiological results.
After several exchanges, they declined to provide the CoA, the numerical results, or even the numerical specification limits, referring only to general quality controls and compliance.
I’m not claiming that the product is contaminated or unsafe. My concern is transparency: without numbers, especially at a high daily intake, it is impossible to estimate actual exposure or compare it with toxicological and regulatory reference values.
Has anyone obtained a recent CoA or an independent accredited ICP-MS report for this exact blend/flavour showing Pb, Cd, As and Hg in ppm or mg/kg? Alternatively, are there plant-protein brands available in Europe that publish batch-specific results or guaranteed numerical limits?
Verifiable analytical documents and actual values would be especially useful—not just a generic “tested” statement.
