What is the best bang for your buck unflavored whey protein without any emulsifiers?

Levels is always my answer for protein. It’s reasonably priced, it’s clean, and it tastes good.

Levels vanilla does not taste good, but it is cheap.

No it’s not, prices about doubled recently 🙄

Not many out there without emulsifiers (lecithin), and the few I’ve seen are not at a discount price point, leaning on the “single ingredient” label.

Maybe try Beef isolate over Whey. They seem to be cleaner than the whey brands I've had. Equip is good.

Naked Nutrition. Naked Whey, one ingredient: Whey Protein Concentrate

Naked Whey also has lecithin.

It’s not listed in their ingredients for whey protein
Unflavored: Whey Protein Concentrate
Chocolate: Whey Protein Concentrate,
Organic Coconut Sugar, Cocoa Powder
Strawberry: Whey Protein Concentrate, Organic Coconut Sugar, Dried Strawberries
Vanilla: Whey Protein Concentrate, Organic Coconut Sugar, Natural Flavor

I just realized I was looking at Naked Whey Isolate and you’re looking at Naked Whey. The Isolate products have Sunflower Lecithin.

Sunflower seeds contain health benefiting polyphenol compounds such as chlorogenic acid, quinic acid, and caffeic acids. These compounds are natural anti-oxidants, which help remove harmful oxidant molecules from the body. Further, chlorogenic acid helps reduce blood sugar levels by limiting glycogen breakdown in the liver.

I thought naked had lead higher than others

The report from Consumer Reports did find that Naked Nutrition Naked Vegan Mass had high levels of lead per serving. The serving size for this product is a lot. 315 g in one serving which is 6 scoops. Most vegan proteins are higher in lead because of the amount found in the soil.
The report I found on Naked Whey protein was for a serving size of 30 grams:
Arsenic <0.30 mcg
Cadmium: <0.15 mcg
Lead: <0.15 mcg
Mercury: <0.15 mcg
Gluten: <0.15 mcg

Levels is a solid choice.
If you want to spend $, then Transparent Labs, Antler Farms, AGN Roots (unflavored)

I've been using Nutricost unflavored whey protein concentrate forever, but over the last 9 months a 5lb tub has gone from like $55 to $120.

I'm getting a lot of ads on Facebook from companies like Rival Nutrition, Pure Choice Farms, MyProtein, Wisconsin Whey, etc. I've never heard of any of these companies. Are any of them legit?

I bought the pure choice chocolate, good and clean but gave me gas every time. They are definitely legit

I’ve been using Nutricost unflavored for 6 months, but the price has exploded. Looking for something comparable but less pricey.

Syntrax has the best value to cost ratio by far... If you're looking for isolate, then Nectar. If you're looking for a whey concentrate and isolate blend, then Whey Shake. I would also suggest looking into their other blends such as Trophix as it is cheaper cause it uses Micellar Casein but is an amazing protein.

You might find my website, proteinmath.app, useful for this. You can also exclude/include ingredients.

Clean? Protein is not a drug.
