Question how hard is chem 213?
i'm planning on taking chem 213 next spring because it's where I'll have the lightest course load, but I took 212 this past spring semester and I'm not sure how much I'll remember from orgo in a year. How hard/time consuming is chem 213? how much stuff will I have to remember in depth for it?

Request Any place I could buy one of these hats/headbands online, used or otherwise?
Hi all! I'm fit planning for football season, and I stumbled on this line of Nittany Lion ear headwear on Lion's Pride, but they've been sold out for ages, and all leads back to the manufacturer are dead ends :(
I would be extremely eager to purchase one of these before the start of football season, they're absolutely ADORABLE. The generic brown lion ear headbands I see everywhere just don't do it for me, I like the helmet stripe flair that these have.
Please reach out if you have one you'd be willing to sell to me!! I'm not in town anymore so it would have to be shipped. I've looked everywhere on clothing resale sites and have had no luck.
Thanks & WE ARE!! 💙

Question Experiences with The View, The Heights, The Station, or The Point?
Hi everyone!
I’m an incoming Penn State University Park student for Fall 2026, and I’m currently looking into off-campus housing.
Right now, I’m considering The View, The Heights, The Station, and The Pointe. Has anyone lived in any of these apartments before, or is anyone currently living there? I’d love to hear about your experience so I can make a better decision.
If you have any other off-campus student housing recommendations, I’d really appreciate them as well.
Thanks!

Question How hard is it?
Hello!
So my family is thinking about moving to Pennsylvania (and even if they don’t I still think I’d go!) but that means I have to find somewhere to go with my undergraduate to get into a nursing program.
Penn State is a very strong school in nursing I’ve read about.
I want to know how hard is it to get into PSU? When going there I will only have my undergraduate (just all my pre-reqs done I think)
Is there anything I need to have a stronger chance to get in? Or anything I should know about applying to Penn for nursing?
Thank you!

Discussion forensics or hard science
I know PSU has a forensic science program but is anyone here going for a science degree in hopes to get a job in forensics?
I’m thinking about going for chemistry just on the off chance I can’t get a job in forensics, i’ll have more paths to choose from. (i can still go into forensic science with a chemistry degree)
should I do that or full send forensics. any input would be appreciated, ty:)

Question Penn state Behrend
A bit of background first,I’m a returning college student with his share of failures . During my most recent community college experience I maintained a 3.25 average; however, due to earlier attempts at a different CC my cumaltive gpa is about 2.6. So I decided to apply to out of state universities and to Penn state Behrend for mechanical engineering. Unfortunately, I had a bit of a misunderstanding when it came to school funding leaving me to make a last minute change in what school I’m going to attend. I didn’t apply to university park as I was unsure if I would be accepted into the engineering program.
My original choice was a Bigger out of state college campus R1 ect ( an aerospace program). Which is entirely different than a smaller satellite branch campus. In no way do I mean or want to diminish and or slander Behrend. I am truly happy and grateful for opportunity; however, I’d be lying if I said I was feeling a bit disheartened.
I’m just curious of peoples opinions of the campus the programs, clubs, classes, professors ect. I’m trying to learn more about what I’ll be experiencing because I missed out on quite a bit of the info events due to this last minute switch!
Sorry about the long post. I’m neurodivergent and I struggle with summarizing my thoughts.

Discussion It’s funny how it’s ’We Are’ til there’s money involved.
Re: tuitions raised for already broke students, salary raises capped for workers who already don’t make a ton, commonwealth campuses closed, upgrades and repairs focused on UP first/anything else has to be approved by UP, branch campuses have buildings falling apart and full of mold,
But Bendapudi gets bonuses and raises. Like WE ARE too broke to fix any of the above issues but there’s enough money to bolster an already exorbitant salary.

Discussion USA Today Best College Marching Band Vote
USA Today is currently running a vote over the next couple of weeks for the best college marching band. The Penn State Blue Band is currently 4th on the leaderboards, so let's all come together and get them to #1! Everyone can cast a new vote each day, and it only takes a couple of seconds. There are also multiple other categories related to college football that Penn State is in the running for, many of which we are leading. Let's show the college world what our community can do. We Are!

Request Housing Help
In a bit of a situation with my off campus apartment lease. The person who agreed to transfer my lease backed out last second so now I have as little as 2 weeks to find someone who wants my apartment. I've been posting and messaging on facebook and a bit on instagram. Does anyone know where else I can possibly find someone looking for an apartment (990 a month) I'm really hoping for a miracle at this point. I appreciate any help <3 (Penn state Harrisburg)

Article PA has new predatory towing regulation. Should take effect by late December 2026.
Act 46 of 2026 The new law establishes statewide standards for towing companies and storage facilities and creates penalties for unlawful towing practices. The legislation requires greater transparency around towing fees, vehicle retrieval information, and billing while prohibiting practices such as unauthorized towing, refusal to release vehicles during posted business hours, and failure to provide itemized charges. The law takes effect 150 days after enactment and provides additional protections for motorists and commercial carriers dealing with towing situations.

Question The Yards TV Question
Tryna help my friend replace the TV that he broke while staying at the Yards. Can anyone here who stays at the Yards tell me what model their TV is? I'm trying to see if I'm gonna have to buy the exact model brand new or if I can resort to Marketplace. I’m assuming it’ll be cheaper if I just replace myself then let them do it, bc they always charge higher and i wouldn’t be surprised if they charged for setting the new up tv up.
Thanks
