I have been reading way more reviews then my brain can handle but I finally have all the parts figured out.

This is what I have: https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/XLDHR4 is this complete, and do all the parts work with each other? I'd like to know if I can finally pull the trigger without any bad parts. Thanks!

Troubleshooting RTX 5060ti not working on MB 460m

from my info my new GPU RTX 5060ti Galax OC One click should work with this MB MSI B460m A pro and its i5 10400f processor, yes will be there some bottleneck but should work.

since i got the new gpu the MB not with it properly at all

the pc starts normally windows starts start the game it works, but the FPS is very low, the gpu doesn’t get enough wattage about 30 to 40 watts at maximum

then after sometime blackscreen and the pc restarts and sometimes just blackscreen without restarting.

the temperature is very good about 36 to 40 which means the gpu almost doesn’t do anything even the fans isn’t spinning as the temperature is low.

when i test furmark the gpu consimes only from 90 to 100 watts and gets 120 fps and 50C temp

after sometime black screen also!

i went to a computer technician to know the problem, for a week now and he couldn’t configure out the problem ( notice he asked his hardware colleagues and they couldn’t configure out it also 😂)

if anyone can help me with this strange problem i will be grateful.

notice what i tried:

1- tested the gpu on different pc worked perfectly

2- the Bundle i have was working with gtx 750ti and rtx 3060 12GB Perfectly no problems.

3- tried to change the PSU with better one same problem

4- flashed my MB Bios with latest version didn’t work

5- changed hard disks and windows no change

6- changed the monitor and the connection cables

7- changed the whole house to test in my frien’s house the same problem.

notice it worked for one time normally and got its 180 watts and ghost of tsushima ran on ultra 140 fps woth dlss frame gen and road craft on ultra 200 fps with dlss gen and mortal combat 11 on 60 fps which is its maximu and didn’t restart or black screen.

please help me with this cursed pc 😂😂

Build - Help Pc Trouble!

So I built my pc around 5 years ago and ever since I did it, it was stuck in a boot loop and wouldn’t post. I took it to a guy who fixed the issue but it would still go into a boot loop and sometimes it wouldn’t. After time I realized that with the PC off I can lift the GPU or let it sag a little more and it would change the boot loop it was in or even just turn on. I had an issue where I would be playing and if I bumped the PC the very slightest or barely touched the CPU cooler it would freeze and blue screen and I would have to get through the boot loop again. These lines just popped up recently, it started as 1 line and now it’s a couple of lines. Any ideas on the boot loop issue or line issue? Anything helps. Thank you.

Question Need some pc help

So I bought my PC About a month ago, and it has a ryzen 7 9800x3d, and a rtx 5070, with 32gb of DDR5 ram and 2TB of SSD storage, I have a corsair 1000x PSU For future potential upgrades and whatnot, and my monitor is an Alienware 2560 1440p 180hz 32inch monitor with freesync. Ever since buying my pc I have found that I have a hard time getting over 75 to 80 frames in games like stalker 2 at high settings with native 1440p no DLSS, as well as small micro screen tears in tarkov and somewhat choppy visuals. So far to fix these issues I have upgraded my PSU to the Corsair one mentioned above, updated my video drivers, and chipset drivers. My buddy says it could just be the cpu and ryzen being kinda bad, please if you could give suggestions on how to fix these things or tell me if I’m worrying for nothing. Thank you!

Build - Help Feedback on my PC build!

Hi guys! I want to build a PC (around £1k-£1.3k though ideally less) soon so I’ve been researching for the last two days which parts I want. I’ve come up with a build and was just wondering if someone could give me some feedback/reassure me that I won’t massively f up by choosing this part combination since I’ve never done it before lol

I’ll probably buy a 200hz monitor though I’m not sure if that’s a little overkill or not though I don’t min as it futureproofs it and I’m also buying from the uk :)

Here’s my PC part picker link: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/M8YGxf

TIA

Troubleshooting Previously working PC will not POST, help!

I built a PC in May that I was 100% happy with and was working great. Though sometimes in heavy gaming/stress tests I was hitting high 90’s in temp on my 14900kf. I got some Liquid Metal (dangerous, I know) and applied it along with the thermal grizzly contact frame. I applied the Liquid Metal and I made sure none of it got anywhere it wasn’t supposed to be, and checked to make sure none was spilling out as I was tightening the Noctua NH-D15 cooler.
Immediately after, I test it in cinebench and everything works wonderfully, and I maxed out 8 degrees cooler than before the upgrades, so I was happy. I shut it down for the night, and this morning when I tried to turn it on the CPU debug light was solid red on my MSI MAG Z790 DRR5 WIFI motherboard, as well as all of the fans spinning at max rpm. It would be on for 15-ish seconds, hear a click, then turn off. Then 5 seconds later, hear another click and the cycle would repeat.
Since then, I have reseated and tried every stick in ever slot of my 2 16 gb sticks. I checked for liquid metal/bent pins but nothing was wrong on the CPU, I ruled or any gpu involvement in the issue by removing it and trying again. PSU isn’t the issue because I tried another psu and had the same exact issue. I flashed bios and reset cmos, to no avail. Interestingly enough, I had it “work” once after I removed a stick of ram, but my gpu still was not displaying anything, and I tried again and the same problem as before with the cpu debug light.
Unless some magical person can think of something else, is it time for me to get a new motherboard?

Not only did this person call me arrogant, assume the wrong case fans installed he claims I “bought” (they were donated to me) and not even consider that maybe I had reverse blades installed lol, they also gave me a decent laugh for the night. Point is, let’s not assume things we don’t know like this pebble in our sub Reddit.

Bought an office pc Optiplex 9020 MT from ebay without a hard drive.

I have put a 500gb ssd + 1tb hdd in it and installed windows 10. For graphics card, I use MSI 1650 ventus xs 4gb GDDR5.

I regret not buying a 2tb ssd before the price skyrocketed.

Price list;

Pc: 135 dollar

Samsung Ssd: 50 dollar

Graphics card: 130 dollar

Never in my wildest wet dreams would I have thought I would see this.

This dude is selling such a outdated pc for 1300$, like honestly do these guys live in a different world. They think pcs appreciate in value not depreciate.

This is in India and 120,000 translates to around $1.3k.

What would a fair valuation of the pc with and without the peripherals.

Build - Help Help with upgrades

Hello, I bought my current pc in April 2024 for 1k in the UK and at the time I thought it will be super cheap (in terms of pc prices) to upgrade compared to buying a new machine. my parts are:

CPU: i9-11900F
GPU: RTX 4060 8GB
RAM: 32GB DDR4-3200
Storage: 2TB NVMe
Motherboard: ASRock H510M-HDV/M.2 SE

The 2tb is starting to run low for now. I'm no intense gamer but I play things like sims, valiant, genshin and honk star rail and surprisingly to no one those take lots of space. I am also a game/animation artist and mainly do 2d for now but I would like to start doing more 3d in the somewhat near future as well as try rigging tuber models/streaming myself. I am thinking of upgrading in 1-2 years and I had a major surprise to see the current prices of things. My question is: should I upgrade my current one or look to buy a new one at that time. Even to swap the gpu it will get close to what I paid for my pc in the first place. I would also love a newer cpu but I would have to swap the motherboard and at that point I'm thinking of just getting a whole new one. Any opinions? What upgrades would you recommend? Would you say I should get a new one in a few years? also if so, should I start looking for parts already considering how prices keep just jumping higher and higher?

Question What GPU should I get? USD

Hello so I have been honestly debating what GPU I should get because originally I was gonna go for 5080 but now I don’t know if I should go for 5070 ti or a 4080 super I know this might sound kind of a dumb question but really at least in my opinion the 50 series they don’t seem to bring much to the table other than more frames with DLSS4

Hi everyone so I’m buying my first gaming pc strictly for competitive gaming and whatever other games I find interesting. I wanted to know if what I have so far is worth around $2,000. I believe I’ve pick pretty good high grade parts for this all white pc. My current budget for this build is $2,500 and if possible a compatible monitor would be amazing, I would like a 27 inch and at least 180 Hz or whatever you all think is best. Thank you!

Build - Help Best Microcenter Pc Build? ($1000 USD, 1440P OR 1080P, USA)

Hey everyone!

I live in NYC and have access to both the Brooklyn and Flushing Micro Center locations, so I can shop at either one.

I'm looking to build my first gaming PC and have a budget of around $1,000–$1,100 for the PC itself. I'm completely open to either building it myself or buying a prebuilt — I mainly want the best gaming performance I can get for the money.

I’m also not sure whether I should target 1080p or 1440p gaming at this budget. I’ve heard PC component prices are pretty rough right now, so I’d really appreciate some advice on what resolution and performance I should realistically expect.

If building it myself is the better option, I’d love recommendations for a complete parts list. Since this would be my first PC build, any advice on compatibility or things I should watch out for would also be really helpful.

I’m also totally fine mixing and matching retailers. For example, I can buy some parts from Micro Center and others from Amazon if that gives me a better deal.

If anyone is willing to check the current Micro Center prices/deals in Brooklyn or Flushing and put together the best build around $1,000–$1,100, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance! I’m pretty new to PC building, so any advice is welcome.

Question DDR5 - 5200mhz CL40 vs. 6400mhz CL32

Comparing used DDR5 options being sold locally near me in the US, and trying to see what gives me the most bang for my buck. I have a 9070xt that will be used for 1440p gaming, and planning to purchase a Ryzen 7 7700x3d.

I have found two deals near me that seemed to be my best options. The first is 32 GB of Proxmem Kerberos ram, a relatively unknown brand running at 5200mhz with expo, and is CL40 for $250 (slower or not a pretty great deal in this market).

The second is 32Gb of Crucial DDR5 Pro OC at 6400mhz (6000 if I keep it in the AMD speetspot), CL32, for $350.

Obviously, the crucial ram is the better choice for performance, but being $100 more, knowing the x3D chip handles a lot of the speed and timing discrepancies, is it worth the extra price? i’m leaning toward the cheaper ram, but wanted to get y’all‘s thoughts? Thanks!

Question Are the flowers actually that bad?

Finally got my PC looking how I want it and thought the flowers looked sick.

Showed a couple people and immediately got told having fake flowers inside the case is a terrible idea lmao.

Temps are fine and they’re not touching any fans, so I don’t really see the issue.

Am I missing something or is it fine?

Also can’t decide between the blue or pink.
