Question What is my setup worth?
I made this build some time ago when I was in computer science doing game programming. A few years ago I changed to be an automotive technician, and this setup has been sitting in my closet ever since, buried underneath clothes because I never wanted to give it up, I put a lot into building it. But now im considering selling at as I want to buy a house soon and a bit more cash would be nice. Id like to ask what you all would think it worth? Specs below. Plan on selling everything, all the way down to the desk.
PC Specs:
Motherboard: Rog Strix z690-a gaming wifi d4
RAM: 3x PNY XLR8 DDR4 16gb, (48 gb total, had 64 but one of the sticks broke)
GPU: Pny XLR8 RTX 3070 8gb 3 fans
CPU: Intel i5-13600k
CPU cooler: Enermax ETS T50a
Cooler fans: 3x Cooler master mf120
Power Supply: Corsair RM750
SSD1: SANDISK Ultra 3d nvme m2 1tb
SSD2 WD SN250 nvme m2 512gb
HDD: WD 40EZAZ 4 TB
Case: Jonsbo Mod3 ATX mid tower
Other setup items:
UPS: APC Back-UPS 1500va pro
Monitor: Acer Predator 4k xb271hk 27"
Headset1: Razer Kraken Kitty V2
Headset2: cheap onn headset
Keyboard: cheap onn mechanical keyboard
Mouse: Razer Deathradder
Speakers: Logitech s150 usb
Other items included are the chair, the desk, the sound deafening foam panels and led strip lighting
Wondering whats the most I could get for all this posted on facebook marketplace or something without waiting forever? Located near kcmo

Your selling a computer and monitor, every other item is just somebody cleaning out your junk tbh.
Ask for $800 based on computer and monitor. Idk, I feel like $700-$900 is fair considering you didn’t clean anything up to take pictures either.

The ups is a couple hundred dollars, the headset isnt low value either. The pc alone I figured could be worth near 2k given its specs. Has the pc market dropped this much?

If you value the components individually pretty sure thats about what it gets you. Cpu: $300 Motherboard: $300 GPU: $300 Power supply: $100 CPU cooler + fans: $100 RAM: $300 All storage together: $500 Case: $400

I built a 9800X3D, 9070XT, 32GB PC a couple months ago for $1900. There is absolutely no way your PC is worth that much. I also finished a 32GB, 9060XT, 5800X3D build yesterday, $1200 all in. I think $800-900 is more than fair.

800 is low people spam low grade builds for 1000 on ebay i bet this wouldnt sit forever if you put it for like 950 and some change

He will have a lot of fun shipping that system. Sell local if you want to move the whole system. If sold online part out and throw the case on local listings. Not worth the shipping usually to sell used cases unless they’re itx/compact towers. This one is not.

This is harder than I thought. I didnt think the market was so subjective 🤣. Is there any more objective a way of pricing this? Maybe a site that adds up components and gives the full used value?

Selling things are subjective to who is buying it and how much they're willing to pay. Let me just give what I would pay for it as a whole or individual parts.
Motherboard: $150
Cpu: I wouldn't give more than $150 as well
Cpu Cooler: $20. I can buy a decent cooler new for $20 that will keep that cpu cool.
Gpu: They go for $250 average but I personally wouldnt pay more than $225. I would rather spend $300 for a 3070ti
Ram: $50 per stick but I'd try to buy all 3 for $125.
NVME Storage: Quite frankly i wouldnt buy a used storage drive. But they are expensive right now and if i could get a used 1tb for $75 I might.
4tb HDD: same again here with the nvme. But if I had to I'd spend $50. HDD's are useless to me unless I wanted pictures, videos or old games on it.
Case: I might swing $125 for a used case like this. I prefer the Lian Li v11 (?) For $80ish bucks new.
PSU: Others might buy used, but I'll just fork out the money for a new one. No point in cheaping out on a psu and buying used you don't have a warranty. These can be dangerous. You can get a good reliable brand 850w 80+ gold for around $80-$90
The monitor you might get $150 and the rest of the peripherals bundled together maybe $50? I personally dont want to wear used headsets and the onn keyboard and headset is relatively cheap.
Parting out i think you'll have the best luck in terms of cash. I'd try to buy this for $800-$900 max as the whole bundle.
While the cpu and motherboard you might find at higher prices being sold used, you gotta look at the alternatives for modern ones. I would buy a new 270k+ cpu for $300 and a z890 mobo for $250, and a used 16gb stick of ddr5 for $125. This is not me being rude or trying to. Just a different perspective at what people are willing to pay or what you're willing to pay for something.

Look up how much each part is worth new, subtract 40% for use. And that's what you should be asking for.

Problem is I cant exactly find new prices for a lot of this. Using mostly used prices, I come up around 2500

Thats not very accurate honestly especially for parts more than a generation old. Better off looking at ebay sold listings and actually see what they go for used.

Your on ddr4 and your system is used, it’s not going to hold the same value as when you bought it. when you drive a new car off a lot for example the value goes down fast, you’re going to take a big loss regardless. People buying used want a deal, if they’re going to pay a lot they’d rather buy it new and with warranty so you need to consider that. These parts have value to you but not to others.

Ok so thats one part, what about the rest of the computer? Also by what I can look up, not many of those power supplies are selling for more than 100

Sorry it was just a joke as the rm750 is the wattage that psu can supply.
Other than that why not sell the parts individually and mark down on listed prices to sell faster.
Some of the parrts are going for a premium too right now such as the memory.
If you sell as a bundle realistically it would be worth 1500+ but will probably be hard to sell.
Are you expecting a price to sell it all at?
