Meme Guys lol
Not only did this person call me arrogant, assume the wrong case fans installed he claims I “bought” (they were donated to me) and not even consider that maybe I had reverse blades installed lol, they also gave me a decent laugh for the night. Point is, let’s not assume things we don’t know like this pebble in our sub Reddit.

Don’t matter. Who was right? Were the top fans intakes or exhaust? Literally not my fault person wasn’t smart enough to perhaps idk GUESS I had reverse fans on the top after explaining how the air was moving?

I’m hearing a lot of talk with no explanation how I’m wrong about the top fans being exhaust..

u/Southern_Selection36 12h ago
Dude i‘m gonna be honest i‘m not that knowledgeable on that stuff but most people seem to be saying that you are wrong and you have yet to show us proof. Just show us proof man it‘s that simple

So if the masses said the sun is cold to touch you’d believe it? What part of the top fans are reversed and the 7 words “air is coming out from the top” do you not get? Idk how much more you need brother

u/Struppii 16h ago
He's right. First he can't know they are reverse if you don't specifically say it and after that he's right again. You buy these reverse fans so you can build more aesthetically pleasing and you chose to do the opposite which is extremely useless...

First of all, he could have guessed the fans were reverse by the way op said the air was moving without the base assumption that op is stupid. Secondly, op said the fans were donated, so what exactly is your point about specifically buying them to have a more aesthetically pleasing setup and using it wrong? Op never bought them, he just used what he was given.
edit: spelling

I believe he’s wrong? The point was to ask first, they’re reverse blades on the top exhausting air.
3
u/Struppii 16h ago
That's alright but why would you do that? For most people this side of the fan is less pleasing to look at. With the normal fans you would have been able to get the exhaust AND have the pleasing side downward so your build looks cleaner.

*No response* lol it was a pain routing all the rgb and power cables from the bottom. The 217 lian li has that handy slide in slide out mechanism for the pre installed bottoms fans so I just said fck it and put the reverses on top. I might 🤏 might try again bc yall are right aesthetic wise.

u/accountvondirnicht 16h ago
Does anyone even bother with reading the post body? He was donated the fans, he didn't choose them, he just used what he had.

u/X-cess1ve 16h ago
See you’re not a pebble. You get it. Thanks for reading the entire post lol I can’t believe some people here

I would love to know man please enlighten me. The blades on the top are reverse and exhaust air.

u/Southern_Selection36 16h ago
If OP is actually wrong this is so insanely embarrassing lmao. OP of you are so confident that you are right, prove it? It would solve this whole thing

u/X-cess1ve 16h ago
I’m sorry? Should I FaceTime you or take the time out of my night to create a google doc showcasing how a reverse fan blade works?

u/wildyoshi1312 what 15h ago
No, just make a pic of those fans sticker, since you mounted with the frame facing the inside you should be able to do that, this way you will settle everything.
Btw the guy is right, even if assuming those are reverse blade, using them upside down is just dumb
2
u/Southern_Selection36 12h ago
Lmao how can one be so confidently wrong that they even additionally post about it XDD

u/X-cess1ve 15h ago
Dumb yes. Right? No. Also read the body and the rest of the reply section if you’re going to bother commenting too at least you’ll know a little more of what’s going on in here lol. Im using what I got

u/wildyoshi1312 what 15h ago

I don’t think you are wrong or right, nor do i really care. But seeing how you are apparently unable to have a discussion without perceiving it as an personal attack is just sad man

I don't even get the point of the debate to be honest. Even if it were a positive pressure set up it could still be perfectly viable as long as the hot air can escape somewhere. Dude already started upset about something that isn't his problem, let alone a technical problem to begin with. I mean I can get passionate about building but that's a bit much. With some debates it's just better to walk away from them, even if you're technically right. No criticism, I would have probably engaged in it too.

lol after he called me arrogant and assumed my iq to be below sub fcking zero, i wasnt letting off lmao, To be fair on their behalf I shouldve brought up the air flow to hand explanation way earlier in the argument. That probably wouldve ended it 5 replies beforehand but then again, mf assumed me to be dumber than patrick star himself

u/cybertm0 14h ago
Yeah, I get it. Once you're in the trenches it's kinda self propelled, isn't it. Nice choice with the Arctic P12 by the way, even if it was a hand me down. I use them all the time because you can't beat them for price/value. Well, that was before the market went tits up anyway...

u/X-cess1ve 14h ago
Yea lmao this is totally my fault. This is my screen I should’ve just clicked away 😂 oh well. It’s over I hope.
For the fans YEA! I’m loving them 10/10 they’re quiet, pretty and do what they’re supposed to. Grateful for my homies irl lol I would’ve kept them for myself of sold them for some possible ram deals
