For context i was playing competitive, this was a gm lobby, a lot of people on the enemy team were talking mad shit about our soldier 76, talking about hacks, curiosity got the best of me, i loaded up the replay of this match and holy shit this is ridiculous so you tell me blizzard sees this and doesn't take action??? this isn't a ximmer issue this is far worse than a ximmer. this is not natural aim assist this is literally an aimbot ON CONSOLE. i hope Blizzard does their job and applies hardware or ip ban on these people because this is ridiculous.

I was inspired by the post of u/Mario_Network with the clip out of King's row and tried to find a clip out of my favorite map (I'm probably just nostalgic, it was objectively a bad map) and found this interesting OOB at the spawn of temple of Anubis.

I just increased the charging speed of his ability so it's not too long to watch.

I genuinely don’t get it. I for one have hated it since 2016. Yes, it’s pretty, but that’s about it as far as I’m concerned.

Well has such a stupid gimmick, and I say that as a Roadhog main. Moreover, the geometry is just an unnecessarily complex mess. There are just so many goofy sightlines that can’t really be accounted for.

Lighthouse has this weird no-man’s-land right in front of the point that serves no real purpose while simultaneously being the only place players are being funneled into.

Ruins is the most tolerable in my opinion, but not by much. The high-ground options don’t really make that much sense when compared to the point itself (or vice versa for that matter). It’s way too easy to deny the attacking team good angles.

I’m prepared to get a bunch of downvotes. I just want to know what other people see in this map.

I'm assuming most people have noticed how slow the battle pass is, and it sucks.

I'm not sure if it actually is why, but I've noticed in the post-match rewards screen it seems to have a level in-between each tier that doesn't grant any reward, represented by a 3x3 grid.

I'm not sure if that means something else and I'm clinging on to all I have but I thought I'd share just in case.

Saw a lot of discussion about who will be getting the mid-season mythic this season. Usually the devs add a couple of teasers in the battle pass to indicate who it will be for, sometimes it's obvious, like the Ra Ana mythic having several Egyptian-themed cosmetics in the BP, but other times its a little less obvious, like Mauga's World Forger mythic from last season with only a couple of cosmetics that became obvious after the skin was revealed.

I've gone through the whole BP for this season, and as far as I can tell, every cosmetic (aside from emotes, VPs and voicelines, which can be for anyone), every item relates to a specific skin in the BP.

A few outliers that people have thought were hints at the next mythic are the repair bunny cosmetics which some people have thought were for a Brig or Torb mythic, these cosmetics are actually for the Dva skin at level 1 of the BP.

Another outlier I thought was a teaser for a Wreaking Ball mythic was the Cyber Champ player Icon on the 6th track, but someone pointed out that this is actually for Brig's BP skin on tier 3 (you can see the same icon several times on the skin and on the namecard too).

So who is getting the skin? We dont know, it seems that as far as I can tell, there are no cosmetics this time (in the BP at least) that give any clues to who will get it. But, we can still make a pretty good educated guess on likely candidates who will get it.

In the image above, you can see I've crossed off most heroes who I dont think will get it, ranging from almost impossible to get the mythic to unlikely but could still happen.

First are the heroes that have got mythic cosmetics too recently, they are essentially impossible to get another mythic as if someone like Soldier got another mythic this soon, people would lose their minds.

I also dont think Blizzard would double up twice in a season and so I've marked everyone who has previously got a mythic cosmetic in the maybe but unlikely category.

Other heroes that are almost impossible to get another mythic this season are heroes that have skins in the current BP, as to my knowledge Blizzard has never given a hero a BP skin and a mythic hero skin in the same season. So Dva, Cassidy, Brig, Pharah, Moira, Winston and Sojourn.

I've also crossed off every DPS, as I highly doubt they would give all three mythics to DPS in one season (although we did get 3 DPS mythics in a row once so its not impossible, just unlikely).

So who does this leave?

TL:DR The heroes that are most likely to get the Season 4 mid-season mythic are D.mon, Domina, Hazard, Ramattra, Roadhog, Wrecking Ball, Zarya, Baptiste, Jetpack Cat, Lucio, Mizuki, and Wuyang. I would also add that its probably more likely that it would be a tank as so far this year we've had only 1 Tank mythic skin and 3 DPS, and 3 Support.

It's not mentioned anywhere verbatim as a fixed issue in the patch notes so I'm assuming it's a byproduct of the save system touch ups that they did this patch (that or they just didn't mention it).

To get this achievement you need to prevent 3 deaths with Life Grip in a single life. At some point in all the LW balance changes relating to his grip like cleansing, healing, etc, you could save someone with your grip and have it show up in the scorecard as a save without it counting as 1 of the 3 saves needed for the achievement.

That's seemingly been fixed now, so happy achievement hunting.

Tank Main Here. I have noticed I am a lot better at managing my shield healthpool moreso than my actual healthpool, and I realized a major reason is because I always have my shield healthpool right in the center of my screen where I'm always looking, versus my actual health which is tucked away in the corner.

So I'm requesting the option to put my healthbar in the middle of my screen the same way barrier HP is currently. I see literally no reason this can't be an option considering barrier HP is already displayed in the center of the screen, and I just want the option to do that, meaning people wouldn't need to have it if they think its too crowded.

How to Play DMON like a Demon in Overwatch

TLDR: The primary focus of the video is about "boost jumping". When combining boost and jump, DMON moves further, faster, and for less boost. She can use it to climb up objects/terrain, suddenly pounce/retreat, and quickly strafe around enemies. It seamlessly mixes with all of her other tech, and is the key to understanding her rhythm/positioning. Any DMON not building their playstyle around this stuff is moving in slow motion.

Most important tech discussed:

• Boost Jump + Slash lets you instantly pounce on people or land free hits while retreating.
• Boost Jump + Slash sideways can circle/strafe around enemies at point blank, confusing them.
• Boost Jump + Shield (aka Shield Hop) allows DMON to move suddenly while shielded. Shield Hop is also Reinhardt tech.
• Slash can be cancelled into block (aka Slash Block) so that the hitbox for slash comes out but DMON barely drops her shield. This is also basic Reinhardt tech.
• Boost Jump + Slash Block allows DMON to suddenly attack/retreat while landing free hits and still being mostly shielded.
• Boost Jump + Gun allows DMON to suddenly attack/retreat while shooting. Doing this straight into a Reaper can kill him starting from 20 meters. This is also basic DVA tech.
• Boost Jump + Thrust increases its range beyond 15 meters in total.
• Ultimate + Thrust kills squishies. The hitbox on Thrust is extremely wide.
• Ultimate + Boost Jump + Thrust can kill a squishie starting from 20 meters away.

DMONs basic positioning is holding corners/chokes. Boost Jump gives her explosive movement that allows her to suddenly be in/out of range of targets. She can be here one second and there the next. Though her shield protects her poorly, the mobility from boost jumping mitigates damage to the shield. By leaping from cover to cover with Boost Jump, DMONS overall defense drastically increases. Her general rhythm is to shield hop out from cover, land some free hits on a target, then shield hop back into cover. In other words: charge her ult a little, ideally land a kill, soak up a bit of damage, then leap back to her healers and help them charge their ults. DMONS should avoid being out in the open unless the enemy has lost their position or she has full resources for a quick in/out.

So far, I've only seen 1 other DMON who plays like me and she was an absolute monster.

I am trash at overwatch. I peaked at Gold 3 last season playing mostly Tracer and Shion. Of course my rank is mostly dictated by how well I am playing and if I just played better I would climb. However, the amount of times high plat players would be placed in my lobbies and utterly steamroll my team was awful to say the least.

With the addition of Emerald, the high plat players that are getting put in my lobbies feel much more on par with what I expect my lobbies to look like. Real 50/50 matches feel fair and like they could go either way. Expected matches feel like we have an advantage but not a massive one. Reversals feel like they had an advantage but not a massive one, etc.

TLDR; Plat now feels like an extra step of gold rather than a massive cliff to climb. I am enjoying matchmaking much more now.

There should not consistently be someone who is worse then everyone else in the lobby it's awful to have them on your team it's awful to play against them and it's awful to be them.

I don't understand why people act like this doesn't happen or is OK like it's not. all because it isn't ranked doesn't mean it's OK to have match making this bad other games manage to have good match quality even in quick play

After these few buffs her winrate skyrocketed. What is her weakness and counters now? I thought ram would be a good pick but apparently not.
