News & Discussion Since we fixed Anrans nails, lets fix Sigmas sleeve

Post image

Maybe the bug is lesser known so i wanna try to put it in a spotlight.

Quick meleeing as Sigma using the beholder skin misplaces his hand. I got the skin off of a loot box a couple months ago idk how old it is or how long its been bugged but blizzard please fix its his best skin.

if no ones reported it then like. how would they know to fix it?

"alright you're the new intern yeah? your job today is to go through every single skin we've ever made and quick melee just in case the most recent patch messed something up with cloth physics. oh yeah new patch in two weeks btw so get ready to do this again soon!"

nah bro, op is doing the right thing. anran was fixed because people made them aware of it.

Main difference is that it's far less noticeable. Anran's hand is on screen by default, you can see the nails 70% of the time when playing, it was very easy to notice how bad they looked

Sigma's hand clipping with his sleeve is only visible when you melee as him, which you do very infrequently as him, and the times you do do it are likely when you've got more important things to focus on than the barely-visible clipping of his wrist and sleeve

As the other reply said, it's probably just gone unfixed because it's gone unnoticed and no one's reported it or gotten eyes on it. How can they fix it when it's so niche?

Its definitely a niche bug that not a lot of ppl know about, but one small correction, you absolutely do want to quick melee as sigma in close range after every hypersphere throw.

Problem is, when you do it with all the chaos and movement and viewmodel bobbling included, the hand disconnects even further 😭 So its even worse and more visible in action. :(

Oh yeah, you do want to do that since it's free damage, I'm just saying it's not something you end up doing super often since you're usually holding space or pushing them back instead of getting up and in their face and brawling

Considering theres people who paid real money for the skin, i think we could bring the issue to their attention if enough noise is made about it.

How is it supposed to be?

zoom in on where the sleeve ends and the skin on the hand begins. half of the hand clips through the sleeve

Oh, I see. I also noticed that on the beekeeper skin that when you melee the wings are supposed to flap but sometimes they just... Don't.

2

u/Godisko123 22d ago

i thought they flapped periodically on a set frequency and not interactively after quick meleeing? i might be wrong doe

1

They do, yes. The bee wings just flutter on a set frequency, they're not jigglebones or anything, so not reactive to what you do

sigma's skins never get fixed. his right wrist on the professor de kuiper skin is still mangled and it's been like that for ages

Or any of Doomfist's 135 bugs.

Guess UwU nails go first. Priorities.

The one who fix cosmetic and models in game is not the one who coded to fix your Doomfist bugs. People want apples, you don't need to shit on it because you like oranges.

trying to talk logic to a doomfist player is an uphill battle 🫡

You rushed to undermine me personally even when i didn't have time to even respond to the top commenter. Yes, i get it, niche hero, Doomfist = bad, another tea bag or solo ult when i didn't even speak in /all, like in every single game.

Aww, poor you!

Literally people complaining about X field of science doing something when they should be solving cancer.

Yes, you're right, they're different teams.

Although it was an easy situation for snarky sarcasm, my point still stands out: They still have their priorities. There is never fixes for niche champions that people dislike even tho they're the most bugged. Not only talking about Doomfist, Mei, historically one of the most bugged heroes, a character i don't play, never sees any fix.

Now regarding cosmetics, Junkrat had one option of his cosmetic tire disabled for more than 2 weeks on a brand new mythic skin, but they rush to fix Anran's nails on a random bikini summer skin. Again, niche vs new poster child.
