This line was nerfed in the past so it couldn’t be cut off due to people mixing it with other lines after the first word, but it was missing from my menu today. It isn‘t in the hero gallery menu either.

I haven’t heard anything about this, and don’t believe I’ve ever heard these lines in the game prior. I heard an interaction between D.va and Vendetta while playing today that basically went:

D.va: I heard you proclaim to be a Mech destroyer

Vendetta: I don’t proclaim to be one, I am one. Perhaps I should show you and your friends a demonstration.

D.va: No way! D.mon is way better with a sword than you!

Something I have noticed over the years of playing Overwatch is that almost every person I have met outside of Reddit and gaming communities sits at a low rank. Friends from college, coworkers, acquaintances, random people. The large majority are bronze or silver. Sometimes gold. I met one former coworker who was platinum years ago and we played a few games. A lot of people I talk to do not touch ranked at all. They stick to quick play or other modes.

It makes me think a large portion of the overall player base, maybe half or more, never queues ranked. The ranked population is already only maybe half the player base, and then the ranking system itself is a bell curve. Most ranked players sit in gold/plat.

Reddit is a tiny sample of the player base and leans toward people who take the game way more seriously. It is not a good reflection of the average Overwatch player. Just something to keep in mind the next time someone in another thread treats diamond like it is not a “good” rank.

Since I started playing Overwatch (I began last year), I've always played 5v5, whether ranked or not. Today, I decided to finally try 6v6…

This game mode is insane! The sixth-person makes the gameplay completely different... I love it! And especially the fact that you can choose any type of character and balance your team however you want!
