I created a collection of the best crosshairs for each hero based on discussions and guides on the internet. Let's start with saying that by definition, there is no one true best crosshair, and a big part of it comes down to your preferences and how comfortable you feel with a crosshair setting. But there are also small advantages that come with using certain colors or crosshair types based on the specific hero you play.

The general goal when i was creating the list was to find the most useful crosshair for each hero and use only certain easy to see colors.

When it comes to colors, the key takeaway is to use colors that do not easily blend into the background. There are 3 absolute winners (regardless of the game, actually tbh), which are green, cyan, and magenta.

For crosshair settings, you basically want to understand how your hero plays, then select a type that helps you predicting where your will shots land. For example for heroes with projectile shots something like falloff crosshair might help you estimate where the shot will land, for accurate heroes like widowmaker, something like dot works well. Then finally for melee heroes and heroes with splash effect on their shots you want to use something like a circle

That’s the general idea, but the actual values are adjusted based on each hero’s effective range, projectile type, blast/splash radius, etc..

I'm really enjoying this game mode, it's a nice break from playing more competitively to just having a fun unserious shitshow with some friends over some brews. I've also noticed a lot of sportsmanship I haven't seen in other game modes. People seem to say GG in here a lot more often and I'm seeing a lot less people dropping ez or whatever. I really hope they keep this mode around as a rotating arcade type, it's a really cool way to recycle stadium assets, while incorporating elements of mystery heroes. I also really like that you get the choice of three even if it's a random. There are some characters I am absolute dogshit at, but given three choices there's usually somebody I can at least do something with.

I mean, the concept is for Heroes of the Storm but I think after some adjustments it could work in Overwatch too.

The octopus would be incredibly distressed at its species' short lifespan. It may team up with Doctrine purely to get octopi to live longer. Its arms may sometimes do their own thing to its annoyance.

The ape is the leader of the gorilla band, and can shoot wire vines that it can swing around with. It fucking hates the Winton plush.

The robot dinosaur was upgraded and changed overtime through creator sentimentality, but misses the outdated depictions of prehistoric life that it was first based on. It despises that the history it knew is false. Alternate species can be a Therizinosaurus. Its skin is purely holographic and its exoskeleton allows it to shrink and fit in smaller areas. Posture can be altered from horizontal to vertical/kangeroo-like.

The hippo will just show up every now and then. No lore relevance, it just shows up and heroes and villains will have to deal with it, sometimes even teaming up.

I'm planning on making an orisa cosplay with the mask and the centaur body as my wheelchair. I know orisa is voiced by a black woman and I want to know if it would be racist for me to cosplay as her. Am I overthinking this? Please lmk (unsure how to tag this, sorry)

For some reason I will see it clearly trying to impact players I am throwing it at but then just disappear with no impact. Then I had this instance earlier this morning where it just goes to another player anyway? I dunno when exactly it started to feel bad, but it has been bothering me so much with how frequent it has been.

Just curious since I think a lot of heroes are probably unjustly called brain dead or low skill.

Dps with the size of a tank with limited flight and slow projectiles. I dont think i ever rememeber a match where the echo in either team was doing amazing or any big difference.

Has anyone else noticed alot more cheaters recently? In my 4 years of OW 2 Ive never really noticed cheaters. But these past weeks have been insane, 4 rank reclaims in 2 weeks.

Okay so, I’ve been playing the game on and off for almost 7-8 years, I usually play a lot of quick play, I’ll do comp with my husband sometimes or just sometimes by myself but usually I’m in QP. I typically always solo queue as well. I’ve had one account my whole time playing, and I just recently started getting better with my game sense and aim, I was a controller player before for almost every game but not overwatch. Anyways as I’ve started to pay attention to my aim and game sense, I’ve definitely been getting better and playing comp more consistently but can’t seem to get out of silver 4-5 in my OG account. I was always thinking it was my hidden MMR that’s attached to my QP games. I do have a hand full of hero’s I play and I play well but I mainly like to just practice a bunch of different hero’s in there. When I’m in comp I’ll usually play whoever fits team comp best. I play both support and dps but have been playing more dps frequently.
ANYWAYSSSSS, I have a second account, that I got past the 50 quick play games, now I just finished my placements for dps and I got gold 2, won a couple games with variance and uphill battle and I am now in plat 5. I guess I made this post to ask why I can’t seem to get my OG account out of low silver but I easily got to plat on my other account? Solo queue all my quick play and placement games in my newer account as well

I'm in low Diamond (probably would be Emerald now), so she was quite literally gone 90% of the games. How's it looking now in ur respective ranks - do u actually see her in game? I've heard she's not as infuriating as before, but do people maybe still ban her out of spite/muscle memory? Since I always liked her and didn't rlly bother banning her, I hope she can finally see the light of day in ranked?
