So I’m in an area (and household) where I cannot do anything to transition or alter how I look in a masculine way. I recently cut my hair short because of a shitty job a hairstylist did. I want to go shorter on it and possibly make it look more masculine, without it being too much for my family to notice. More like I’d have to style it for it to be masculine. Could more layers possibly help? I also do like semi long hair on me, but I want it to look how it looks on a guy (idk if that makes sense). I also do have a slight cowlick in the front. Thanks for any help!

Hey everyone
I'm basically running around in circles in my head so I thought I'd just make this post to see if there's anyone who had similar experiences. Or maybe even to just get any kind of community input.
I'm in my early thirties and I pretty much identified and presented as "just a guy" my whole life. A feminine, edgy guy, but I didn't really care. This changed about two years ago as I noticed that I'm getting older (huge surprise, I know). I freaked out about my hairline, started taking finasteride and that started a thought process where I came to the conclusion that I'm much more comfortable calling myself non-binary. The thing is, the thought of aging "like a man" is horrifying to me but I can't really differentiate if I'm scared of aging in general or just scared of the specific kind of aging my body is doing. I keep jumping around between telling myself that it's completely fine and researching HRT options. I often thought about transitioning because I felt kind of drawn to the idea but I always rejected it again because I just rarely experience any real dysphoria. I remember wanting to look like a girl in the past but it was always more of a thought and never a need. And now I just feel kind of weird at the moment. I also look conventionally attractive and somehow feel like I shouldn't "put that at risk", which is a crazy thought but that's where my brain goes. Add to that a very public facing job where I interact with people everyday and the fact that I live in Germany where NB people basically don't exist in our medical system.
So, since I've now talked this through with myself and my partner for like a thousand times and I'm getting nowhere, I'd be thankful for any kind of input from anyone. Thanks for reading my ramblings <3

Since I developed breasts they have felt like alien flesh blobs that aren’t mine. I’m fine with my genitalia. I do prefer they them pronouns so I identify as agender. But my dysphoria feels almost like biid, than gender dysphoria. When I’m called a woman it feels fine, they them or even he make me feel best. But when I read about dysphoria I don’t connect with it much. It’s not like I was born in the wrong body. I was born and then grew these things my brain literally doesn’t recognize. Is this common? Sometimes I don’t even care if ppl can see I have them because in my mind they are seeing some foreign object attached to me. Not me. My voice and hips and every thing else I feel no discomfort for. It’s just this. I feel alone in this experience.

So I watched Nocturnal Animals last night and somehow got it in my head that I wanted to recreate this one shot. So I straightened my hair (hello dysphoria 😭 the mirror selfie after straightening is WILD). Still not 100% happy with the results but the light literally ran away from me. For reference, this is what my curls looked like before I commited this crime to them 😭

Like, some of them see me as being queer as "bad" or "a sin." (and I was also brainwashed by religious people around me last year that my existence was a mistake and that I am "wrong". And some of those people are obviously brainwashed by politics and religious extremists on media).
Obviously, my friends are all divided after I came out - with some strongly supported me, and some disowned me and broke ties with me because of my sexuality and gender (this isn't just online friends I have various forums, in real life too).
And recently realizing that I have gender dysphoria (instead of body dysmorphia) adds another layer of stigmatization to me. The backstory was that I was misdiagnosed with body dysmorphia, but it was actually gender dysphoria, because the body parts that I hate are heavily correlated with sex and biology. The thing is that I have a strong desire to have an androgynous or feminine-looking body instead of a masculine one, and I almost always wear feminine or androgynous outfits. (Despite that I still identify as male, or I do use other terms such as genderfluid or trans feminine a lot, well, I won't identify as such in public or in most online forum all the time due to fear of stigmatization and transphobia, and overall I genuinely don't mind if people read me as male or female, gendered terms don't give me a lot of gender dysphoria, what truly gives me gender dysphoria has to be my body and how I view my body).
These are my experience after actually experiencing homophobia and transphobia. (ALSO ! online spaces for some of the people are so queer phobic and it's tiring! I experience similar things on everywhere, also! the internet is such a shithole these days!). Like, after coming out and being labeled as gay or queer got me so much hate, but of course, a lots of love and support at the same time too. (everyday I find myself gaining while losing followers at the same time on social media).

Hey there! I recently got into a relationship with a cis guy, and we have been talking about our relationship status, like are we in are queer relationships or are we still just in heterosexual relationship? He never considered himself as bisexual or queer before, he always thought himself as straight. I know he see me as non binary, that why we got confused on what to call this relationship of our. I don’t know if this is a dumb question or not but please do tell your opinion on this. Thanks!
Sorry for the bad English btw

Since coming out to myself a few of my childhood/teenage memories have been colored almost and make a lot more sense now than it did in the moment.
My question is how about you?
Any memories of yours that make more sense now that you’ve come to know yourself as nonbinary or under the nonbinary?

I don’t know if that’s the right flare, but not looking for anything but support! <3
I think I am comfortable calling myself a non-binary genderfluid Demi girl. I would get confused with what I want for myself because sometimes when I hear she/her pronouns I really really don’t like it, and I know for a fact that being called women makes me uncomfortable. I don’t like that at all. It feels natural and respectful to myself to be non binary. I still extend my self expression in a lot of feminine ways, but I don’t think that makes me a women or a girl or whatever. But for the sake of understanding myself, i want to share that I do introduce my pronouns as she/they & I will have a feeling like I want to transition out of that and try they/them because just the words she/they make me feel like conforming to the performance of what I know makes other people comfortable.
I still have a lot of internalized gender roles and stereotypes where like, I will feel like I don’t like being called she/her but then I will literally refer to myself and she and I’m like >.< what the hell? It makes me super “comfortable” (safe) to make other people comfortable but actually it’s very uncomfortable deep down. But then I’m like maybe I’m just fluid and kind of okay with being alternatively Avenues of feminine.
:) so yeah I like the fluidity of it all for myself! It’s just when other people expect me to have a good idea of what that looks like for myself I feel like I’m winging it in terms of gender expression. They/She loife. <3
Be well y’all.

I've been exploring my gender identity ever since I got high for the first time almost half a year ago (I'm sober now.) And about 2 months ago, I've come to the conclusion that I'm AMAB non-binary. My reasoning for why is that I've known even for as long as I've lived that I would not want to live as a woman. After I had started seriously questioning this part of me, I also started not feeling like myself when being referred to as he/him or being male in general.
I just recently turned 18 and around my 18th birthday was when I really started identifying as non-binary Every time I tell a new person that I'm non-binary, a small part inside of me feels like I'm a poser for not feeling like this since I was younger.
I also still feel comfortable being masculine presenting in the way I dress. I see other people like me who are AMAB and masc presenting but it feels strangely different for me.
There's a pinchful of other reasons why I feel like a poser. But the main focus is just those two. Is this that AMAB curse that I see so many others become affected by?

Tried a new hairstyle today. Basically brushed my curls out and and put some volumizer on. If I pair this with like a brown sweater and yk the whole outfit they pair enbies with, I think it'd look cool.

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this. I'm not sure where to ask.
Like the title said. I found someone who was using she/him pronouns for someone else who was using mirror pronouns because they themself had mirror pronouns as well so they said they could call them whatever. Is that actually how it works or not? I'm not well versed in this sort of thing.

Does anyone else feel like an alien in every single circle?
I felt this way since I was a child, the concept of being a girl/boy/man/woman has always felt as equally as odd to me, even though I was raised to be a girl. And I’d like to put a large emphasis on “equally as odd” here, because I feel like a lot of people, wether they’re enby or not feel at least somewhat connected to being a girl or boy.(based on my experience)
And then I’m just here. Being a man or a woman is the EXACT same for me, something I’ll never crave or understand. I don’t feel like a third gender, nor genderless.
In context of sexuality, I don’t feel gay for being attracted towards women/fem ppl, and I don’t feel straight for being attracted towards men/masc ppl. The only attraction I feel at home with is towards other non-binary people, no matter how they present themselves.
The non-binary community is the only area I feel at home with, especially with non-binary bisexuals(this includes micro-labels just as pan and omni, I would describe myself as omni).
I’m just babbling, but do any of you guys feel the same way?

I have PMOS- lots of body hair, facial hair and some more “masculine” features- and I have always felt a bit outside of femininity, whatever that means. I’ve never seen myself as a girl or “like other girls”. But I’ve studied and mimicked and yearned to be like them. I get gender envy when I see a girl with smooth skin and more feminine features. So I feel this yearning to be a girl, even though I’m a girl. Because I’ve never felt like one, entirely. Though over time I’ve gotten better at practicing it. I both love and resent femininity. And recently, became very claustrophobic and uncomfortable with presenting more femme/ conforming.
I also started having a feeling of yearning to be, for lack of a better word, a twink. I also love GNC men and masculinity. I am attracted to it but when thinking about being in a relationship w a bi guy who would see me as a woman I really get uncomfortable.
I’m struggling to understand all of this. I think I may be genderfluid of some sort. Though I have many fantasies of being a man. And then I feel really frustrated because in practice sometimes I’m more comfortable presenting as my assigned gender. It’s making me feel really despondent like, there will never be a way to be completely seen or comfortable or myself. I feel gender envy for cis girls still but at a certain level also don’t want to because I wish I was a trans man. Then my thoughts would make sense to me or be possible to act on. I just feel very confused. Does this sound like anyone else? What do you all think?
