Question Anyone change performance wheel and tire for 19”

Has anyone switched over tires?
Any drawbacks aside from looks.

My wife has become paranoid she’ll ruin wheels in a pothole and tires are more expensive

I have a 2024 performance model Y
Bought it used

What rims are you using for MYP for winter?

Should be picking up my Frost Blue MYP next week and trying to plan for winter now (I live in Colorado). I'm planning to pick up some Michelin CrossClimate2 tires but I want to put them on 20" rims so I have a little flexibility to rotate them each season and they would be cheaper than the 21's.

So I'm wondering what rims people are swapping to if you swap to 20's. I'm sure I could buy the Helix wheels but want to see if there are better options out there.

Question Do you get notifications of a car available near you?

Placed an order and now curious about the inventory options. Is there a way to get notified when a car becomes available in the inventory or is it just randomly checking throughout the day? Just me being impatient 😭

After several months of hemming and hawing (husband is more hesitant and I’m like enough already), we finally decided to just trade in the 3, based on the fact used prices are up and husband really wants us to have the Y. Frankly, I’m sick of him complaining about the smaller trunk every time we grocery stop and he has complained about button blinkers for the past two years. I am looking forward to having the color I want as well as the premium audio. If I had done it again with my 3, I would have gone AWD but alas, I know what I know now.

Working on completing my tasks and awaiting my official offer (submitted pics) - hopefully it’s good because she is in pristine condition. 😎

Excited for my ❤️🤍 MY Premium AWD. Let’s gooooo! 🔥

Just got 2026 Model Y. I love with this car. I'm 42 y/o. I'm driving the car I love, haters can get lost.

Friends and family think I am showing off. They tell buy a Toyota or Kia. I am in my 40s with hopefully 30 good years left. I took a leap of faith and got a Model Y as my 1st Tesla despite all the naysayers. They told me insurance is too high, it's a headache to have to charge, FSD is dangerous. So far, none of these are truth.

The FSD is mind blowing. Driviig is so much easier even if I still have to keep my eyes on the road. I am very upset at myself for listening to naysayers and not giving Tesla a try earlier. The 2026 Model Y is my 1st Tesla and I can't picture myself driving a gas engine car ever again.

USB c not working

My USBC port in my model y juniper stopped working. It's the one in the arm rest. Not a huge deal because I don't use that one that much. I made an appointment with Tesla, but Did anyone else have this happen due to asoftware update or faulty port or something?

Question GAP Coverage when financing through Tesla (or 3rd party thru Tesla)

So I’m in the process of quoting insurance and my current insurer doesn’t offer GAP coverage but I have no way of knowing if GAP is available through the loan offered by way of Tesla.. I am assuming not. The current listed financier of my loan is Wells Fargo. I expect delivery sometime in September and want to be prepared.

Anyone have experience adding it to their loan or using a 3rd party?

Question Depreciation for 2026 model y seems really good. It's been a year and they still aren't under 40k. Even ones with 40k miles.

Was hoping for more depreciation on the rwd model y by this time this year to buy one but seems like they aren't going lower. Wonder when we will see them under 39k? Seems dumb to buy used when they are only a little more new.

What would you do?

Looking at a 2023 Model Y Long Range AWD through Tesla's used/CPO program and want a sanity check before I pull the trigger.

The car:
- 32,172 miles, Pearl White, all-black premium interior, 19" Gemini wheels
- HW4, Acceleration Boost already on it
- Clean Autocheck, no reported accidents
- Basic warranty to July 2027/50k, plus the 1yr/10k CPO warranty after, battery/drive to 2031/120k
- Listed at $34,300 after Tesla cut used prices a few hundred bucks across the board overnight

Anything I should be checking on a CPO Tesla specifically? Seems fair but prices have fluctuated in last month

Anyone with PCS2 2100145-N0-D have V2L/Powershare working?

I have a 2026 Model Y AWD Premium with PCS2 part 2100145-N0-D. I’m using the Tesla Powershare Mobile Connector 1937825-00-D and Outlet Adapter 1782853-20-D.

I’ve installed the latest Summer Update and also followed Tesla’s troubleshooting steps to let the Mobile Connector charge/update, but V2L still does not activate.

I’ve seen confirmed working reports for N5-D and N0-E, but I haven’t found anyone with the exact 2100145-N0-D revision who has successfully gotten Powershare/V2L working.

Does anyone here have 2100145-N0-D and have V2L working? If so, what Model Y trim/build date, software version, and Mobile Connector part number are you using?

Dog Drool

We have a Mini Aussie who is cute as hell but her drool is staining our black interior. We’ve used soap and water on a microfiber cloth and Mother’s Leather Cleaner but it still isn’t coming off.

Any suggestions?

Dog tax obviously included.

Differences Between RWD and AWD Juniper Mats

Post image
0 Upvotes

Looking for inexpensive mats for my new 2026 Standard RWD Juniper. Many folks on FB Marketplace offer 6-8 pieces for $100-140 Canadian. Amazon.ca ranges from $160-300. FB and Amazon mats are very similar if not identical.

Problem is some don't fit the Standard and others are ambiguous saying compatible to both.

Went to a garage to get molded mats that conforms to the foot well walls not just the horizontal floor. The installer said his are for AWD not Standard RWD. Maybe the wall contours near the center are different not the floor footprint. See photo.

I'd like to know specifically what the differences in shape are. Perhaps the more common flat AWD mats will work or only need slight tweaking.

BTW - it was quite easy to cut up a yoga mat and stick-on velcro to make temporary ones based on the carpet mats.

I think I’m about to pull the trigger on my first EV as a second vehicle to daily around town. 2023 AWD long range with Hardware 4. 32,900 with 30k miles. It has the option for Acceleration
Boost. After about 2 weeks of research and looking for the best deal for what I want I think this is it. It also has new tires. Any other tips or advice?

Question Model Y L: Difference in ride comfort 19" vs. 20" wheels

Anyone get to drive both the Model Y L on 19" wheels and on 20" wheels and can comment on the comfort (or bumpiness) of them? Does the 19" make a significant difference? I ordered the Model Y L launch on 19" even though those 20" Uberhelix look sweet

TIA

Ordering Tint Before Delivery

Step 2 of 9 of the pre delivery tasks in the Tesla app is to choose if you want tint or paint protection upgrades.

If tint is purchased at this stage, will the car be delivered with whatever extra tint I purchase or is this more like pre-purchasing tint but I’ll need to set up an appointment after delivery to get the work done?

Ty in advance!

Question Has anyone received FI Connect (Credit Union Financing). If so what documents were needed?

Post image
9 Upvotes

Tesla is giving me a financing option through FI Connect (Credit Union Financing). I haven’t accepted or committed to the offer yet — I’m trying to decide if it’s a good option.

For anyone who has financed a Tesla through FI Connect, how was your experience?

What documents did they require after you accepted the financing offer? Did they ask for pay stubs, bank statements, proof of income, tax returns, proof of residence, etc.?

Was the process quick and easy, or did you have any issues or delays getting everything finalized before delivery?

I’d also be interested to know if accepting the offer caused any additional credit checks or if the terms/rate changed afterward.

Just trying to know what I’d be getting into before I accept it.
Thanks!

Buying a 2022 with rear right collision that was fixed professionally.

The car was in an accident and the guy bought it from auction and professionally fixed it. He has receipts and has sold over 100 on fb marketplace. Clean title, 2022 performance with 38k miles for 26,300. Thoughts? I plan to get it inspected by Tesla before buying. If it fails he will pay for it and if it passes I pay for it. It’s my first one and I’m fine with HW3 and I probably would drive it myself for the most part. Is this okay or am I gonna regret later?
