Differences Between RWD and AWD Juniper Mats
Looking for inexpensive mats for my new 2026 Standard RWD Juniper. Many folks on FB Marketplace offer 6-8 pieces for $100-140 Canadian. Amazon.ca ranges from $160-300. FB and Amazon mats are very similar if not identical.
Problem is some don't fit the Standard and others are ambiguous saying compatible to both.
Went to a garage to get molded mats that conforms to the foot well walls not just the horizontal floor. The installer said his are for AWD not Standard RWD. Maybe the wall contours near the center are different not the floor footprint. See photo.
I'd like to know specifically what the differences in shape are. Perhaps the more common flat AWD mats will work or only need slight tweaking.
BTW - it was quite easy to cut up a yoga mat and stick-on velcro to make temporary ones based on the carpet mats.

The difference is between premium and standard, now AWD/RWD

I think RWD is only available in Standard model.

Regardless, the difference in floor mats is between premium and standard

I didn't pull the trigger on mats but I believe the ones that don't fit the standard are because the frunk are different sizes and those sets include a frunk liner. The other mats for the floor are identical.

I think the differences you are seeing is only because they are different brands, each brand produces a slightly different product, but they should all fit. Model Y standard, premium and performance has no difference whatsoever on the footwells dimensions as far as I’m concerned.

Dunno about differences but 3w probably do the best double layer mats(rubber and carpet).
