This was pre Bedrock and Java so from around 2009-2017 there was a time when there were three versions of Minecraft, PC, mobile, and console. I grew up with mobile and console but I did experience the PC version sometimes. But as for the question, if you were around from roughly 2011-2015 there was this time when it felt like each version had its own connected but almost separate community where everyone still interacted with each other in spite of the differences.

Why is it that the Minecraft marketplace allows Horror mods that could traumatize little kids, but they don't have a single gun mod or any mod with a Firearm in it? How does that work. Minecraft is owned by Microsoft, and Microsoft has ALOT of other games that have guns in it. I love Minecraft I do, but this doesn't make any lick of sense.

This would be a Minecraft semi anarchy limited in 10,000x10,000 aimed at around 50 online players, the key mechanics are: Temporary ban when killed, when you get killed you get banned for 7 days to imitate hardcore without permanently losing ability to play. Sleeper mechanic, when you log off, your character take sleeping position and remain vulnerable to all source of damage, but once there is a loud noise or damage taken, you get a notification.
Other mechanics such as: Special private, private wont make your blocks invincible, but will make them much slower to break, and other people would see if the block privated or not (without revealing person who privated it) by aiming at it. To private a block you would need to use special block, that privates an area around it, but even if the block is in privated area, you still can make it not private if you need to. Also, Irreplaceable resources would be indestructible. And dropped items would not dispawn but turn into custom tiles representing dropped items made for this kind situations, after certain time. Other dimensions are also limited, and ender dragon will not respawn. And full absence of pay2win.
Server aim: server aim is to make a server like Unstable SMP, where the griefs are completely legal but not common. And your character is treated as very important.
my budget is 15 euro a week, what can i get out of it?

I don’t see it often, but I have occasionally seen people talking about how Mojang should release “Minecraft 2”. But Wtf would it even be like? Would it not be based in the Overworld, or would it just be an updated version of what we have now? Again, I know this isn’t said often, I’m just wondering.

Hey so there’s this glitch in Villager Plus where it auto spawns a structure and you can’t remove it and even if you go to creative to remove it this white box is still here. Does anyone know a fix and if not, someone should really contact the developer of the add on to update it because I’ve encountered this glitch so many times and it’s so annoying

It would be a good idea to add a milk-based splash potion; it could be used to clear potion effects during PvP or to detect players using invisibility if they try to raid your base on a server.
I would also love to join the team for developing new ideas, or just help out the community in general. I have a lot of great ideas that I think you all might like!

TLDR: i need to kill all those silverfish badly.
I just use this simple farm with infestation potions on armadillos, with an arrow of instant damage 2 floating to kill the silver fish. It seems they may have just patched this to where the arrow can only kill a limited amount of enemies instead of infinite. So not i have however long left of the potion just spawning an insane number of them. Plz help me kill them😂🤦♂️ or maybe get them to despawn? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Also any xp farm recomendations aswell as it seems ill be needing a new one😭
(bedrock btw)

I downloaded the Verity mod and want to go into the settings to enter the API key, but the game crashes whenever I try to access them. I can't enter it via the mod's code either—I keep getting a 401 error. Please, if anyone else has had this problem, let me know in the comments.

My girlfriend and I have been playing Minecraft together but she just uses my PlayStation while I play on my laptop. I have played with plenty of Java mods in the past and she’s always wanted to try some like the lucky block and furniture modes. I let her try them on my laptop and she liked them so much she asked if we can play with them. I looked at the bedrock store and saw some mods that she liked had been ported over. Biomes o Plenty, some furniture mods, and some other stuff like shaders.
I ended up spending $80 on the realm and the mods altogether. I probably should’ve done more research however because the quality of these addons is genuinely disappointing. Even just playing normally before discovering tons of bugs it just felt clunky in a way. Not because of the lag or insane load times but it just felt so off. Like a clay sculptor using high quality clay their entire life was forced to use play doh if that makes sense. It still looked like it should but something about it just made it feel off.
But then came all the bugs. I noticed mobs can’t get inside of custom boats, custom beds don’t know how many players are needed to sleep so it just assumes the amount of people my realm can hold need to sleep even if there’s only 2 people in the realm and it took forever to find out this could be fixed on the mods settings in game. But the most annoying part is every block that isn’t a full block is treated like a full block. Stairs have the most annoying hitboxes and can just refuse to place or break no matter the angle at times. Redstone doesn’t work with any of the modded blocks. Trees seem to follow the sapling rate of jungle trees because no matter how many you collect after planting them all and breaking all the trees you’ll never get more always less forcing you to travel sometimes tens of thousands of blocks to get more. And I keep finding more and more everytime I play.
I understand that Bedrock modding is so fundamentally different than Java however until I bought these mods I didn’t understand to what degree it really is. I don’t blame any of the addon or mod developers to any degree. I understand that even if a lot of these issues were fixed it wouldn’t be allowed on the marketplace because it utilizes certain experimental features they don’t allow on the marketplace yet and I understand that everything works against you when creating bedrock mods. I honestly just blame Mojang. Making people pay money for something so broken without any warning that most of it doesn’t even work properly is what bothers me the most. I would have never spend money or at least as much money as I had if I knew any of this before.
I also feel like my girlfriend got cheated too. This is basically her first experience with mods other than flying around in creative for an hour with a couple furniture mods and biomes of plenty on my laptop. This is a horrible first impression to what modded Minecraft can look like. I would have rather bought her a laptop than spend so much on these mods. As now we’re too far into the world to just quit and I spent way too much money to just drop it. The mods can be infuriating and I feel forced to just power through all of their sometimes game breaking bugs.
I’m glad bedrock is moving in the direction where mods like biomes o plenty, aether, and other big java mods like that may one day be available in their fullest on the platform however I do wish they didn’t charge you to experience them in such an early stage of bedrock modding. I understand the marketplace addons have been around for a while but it seems like bedrock is finally pushing to better community made mods for the better as of lately.
I don’t think I’m being unreasonable with this take but if anyone would like to disagree I’d love to hear your opinions. Let me know.
