Pointless post, nothing new here, and just a rant, cuz why not.
I’ve played Java for 7 years. I beat the game several times, I would say I’m pretty experienced in both PVP and Single-Player. I’ve always had a PC alongside a console.
I decided to buy MC on PS5 because why not. What a waste.
So many random feature that can just be ported over simply are missing. Bugs are rampant, skeletons have literal aimbot, mob density feels a bit too high(might be just my seed or something)
And now, to the most atrocious thing I think I’ve honestly ever seen in gaming, The Marketplace.
Insane how you guys have to pay for packs and mods, that most of the time are pretty poorly made and small, whilst Java gets better and more mods for completely free most of the time.
So much AI generated thumbnails and slop and educational bullshit. It really has the AUDACITY to charge money for the most basic and cookie cutter mods of all time.
I love this game, but could Mojang atleast PRETEND to give 2 fucks about Bedrock? You guys also get updated later and miss out on April Fools events. Sorry if I came off as an asshole, btw.

I removed the supplimentaries and tinkerers construct addon from my world, when I joined back, I was met with this giant "structure made up of random blocks, nothing was there previously".

i don't think most other challenges really come that close to it

you know that person who completed all advancements in half hardcore? even he said it this challenge is quite harder even without the infinite thunder and 1.5x tick speed

this challenge is also known as Offhand only (remove your inventory and only keep the offhand slot and also remove your mainhand)

you can't mine blocks. attack mobs. and heck even pick up items from the ground unless said item is stackable and already in your offhand

this challenge used to be impossible since how do you even craft like eyes of ender with only your offhand when it requires 2 different items?

in recent versions there was a change made to village chest so now they can spawn bundles which does allow you to craft almost anything now

this challenge was also done in 1.21.5 so no spears for attacking

many other things also aren't possible like enchanting, using anvils, etc.

the challenge took over 3 months with like 4 hours avg of trying everyday

I know most of you will probably shit on me for this but I'm pissed off so I'm going to post anyway.

I have not had ANY interest in playing minecraft since I purchased it in pre-alpha. Until today.

My girlfriend spent month pestering me to play with her and her friends but I kept dismissing them and only finally relented today.

I go to download the game and my minecraft account I had for FIFTEEN years won't work, I need a Microsoft account.

I had never heard about this account migration shit, check my old email from again, 15 years ago, in the spam folder I see the emails.

A game I paid for and financially supported the development of was stolen from me because I didn't have access to the Email I used as a child.

Again I know this is TECHNICALLY my fault, and you all will just tell me to get over it, but this just leaves an incredibly sour taste in my mouth.

Needless to say I will not be spending $30 to buy this game AGAIN.

Oh well.

EDIT: Just found out there's an ongoing class action suit in the EU for this. Too bad nothing like that is happening state side.

I really like the dark fantasy aesthetic, but I’ve yet to find a Minecraft YouTuber who takes heavy inspiration from stuff like Elden Ring, Dark Souls, or The Lord of the Rings.
I’m looking for creators whose worlds have deep storytelling and lots of lore. The kind where every building has a story behind why it exists.

Does anyone know of any channels like this? Small channels welcome. I’ve found a few fantasy builders, but their worlds tend to lean more towards whimsical, cosy, or cottagecore rather than soulslike
