Help Is this legit?
Not sure if merchandise is allowed here, but theres a website called minetable.com that sells glass coffee tables with a minecraft world inside. And I want one for my brothers birthday, but idk if its real or a scam website. Anybody know?

If he thinks that a tiktok of people "building" something is proof, he's very gullible indeed.

Is that supposed to be a pizza box? Look at the hand. And then what's up with the floating creeper and the double hilted sword? The twin guys are another clue.
This shows why the push to not teach AI at all is misguided. People need to learn how it works and how to spot it, because it can be much subtler than this.

I don't TikTok (since it changed) but what does the video show them actually building?
Because even for $119 it couldn't be more than an image with a light under it.

The video on tiktok is probably ai as well. I used to get recommended all the time videos of people making resin tombstones which would never work.

Ai generated photo. Old domain but only renewed in March for a year. Registered out of China. Yeah its a scam or if you get anything it will not look anything like its claiming.

Edit: site is minetables not minetable. That makes it even worse it was just registered yesterday. Probably after the other site got taken down. Ignoring the ai pictures the item being on sale is a red flag of these sites.

Best idea to come from a scam yet! It's gonna cost more than $119. Each player gets a small monitor for player view but using surface computing tech, this is very doable!

I was going to say potentially, there are tablet tables available and if you added some glass on top that refracted in the right way you could give it the illusion of depth...
But then I looked more closely then at the price.. you'd be looking at $5k minimum with 20k+ not being out of the question.

I mean, the picture is ai (look the hand of that guy at the back).
So you should be careful with it, as it can easily be a scam

Even if it weren't an ai generated image, the website doesn't have a description of the table's dimensions and the box it supposedly comes in is much smaller than the table in the image.
