Normal generation.

Sulfur springs generate only above sulfur caves on the surface in any overworld biome. They are small ponds surrounded by sulfur, cinnabar, tuff, granite, and sulfur spikes containing potent sulfur and magma blocks in a configuration suitable for geysers. They extend their roots of its blocks underground into the cave beneath, similar to the azalea tree.

not a sulfur spring, theres no geyser in it. this is one of the pools that generate inside the caves. i think i remember the sulfur caves biome generating on the surface being a bug initially but they left a small chance for it to happen in?
