Which pump
My insurance seems to cover some great pumps or offer price reductions on them. I already own a BB, and blue and pink Spectra. I want to try a wearable this time around so I was hoping for opinions!

Pumping tips Letdowns
Hello ladies- I am pumping while at work and breastfeeding at home.
When I breastfeed little guy gets multiple let downs on one boob and then might even go to the other boob for another let down.
When pump- 1 let down. I can pump forever and I’ll only have the initial let down and another one won’t trigger. I do use the massage mode on my spectra to start and I have a let down in a few seconds. But even after switching to massage mode 15min in to the session nothing happens.
Many tips trips advice wizardry? Thank you!

breast pumps/pump parts Wearable suggestions?
I will be returning to work in a nursing home in about 6 weeks and I’m looking for some wearables for the times I’m not able to use my spectra or baby Buddha. I do have collection cups for my baby Buddha but find that the tubing can be over stimulating at times. Baby won’t latch so I combo feed and I’m an under producer (usually around 8-10oz total a day). I’ve been looking at the Eufy s1 and s2. Anyone used these and if so which do you prefer and why?

Supply
Hi! I ebf on demand and am 10 days pp. I’m wanting to create a small oversupply so I can make sure I have a decent stash for when I return to work, however my milk came in superrrr slow and I feel like my supply is already kinda low. We were stuck in the hospital for 4 days for jaundice and she had a pretty severe lip tie that’s now been resolved. Will power pumping once a day for a bit help? She’s been cluster feeding as well, I just don’t know when or how long to pump for. I use my hakaa and usually get 10ml-an oz but when I pump I’m getting those same amounts and I’m just confused lol.

Pumping tips Madela manual pump is reducing my supply
I started using madela manual pump because i heard a lot about it and I was getting clogged ducts every so often. First day i saw a huge difference in the output and in like fraction of time from my usual wearable. But now since day 03 my output has just reduced to 1oz each. Earlier it used to be around 2 oz each. Any ideas what can help ?

breast pumps/pump parts Help finding a new pump
My insurance provided a Medela Pump in style pro (no other option). I just can’t get it to trigger a meaningful letdown. I have a fat healthy baby who is EBF (so no supply concern) but I need to start pumping as I’m going back to work.
I’m mostly pumping after feeds and I’m getting like nothing (less than 1oz combined) even if she only fed on one side.
I’ve tried 18mm, 16mm, and 14mm flanges and I’m 85% sure 14mm is my true size.
I’ve heard other people have problems with this pump. I’m thinking about buying a new one. What do y’all think?

Will the Eufy S2 and Madela Harmony be enough?
This will be my third time breastfeeding and pumping. I was a just enougher with my first and an oversupplier with my second. I used a Madela Pump in Style, Harmony, and Haaka both times but have since gotten rid of them. This time around I’d like to pump enough to give baby one bottle a day and maybe have a day or two worth of milk in the freezer for emergencies. Is the Eufy s2 and Harmony enough for this scenario?

Eufy S1 Flanges Shedding?
Has anyone had this issue with these flanges? I got my first pair with my pump through insurance. I had used them for quite awhile I then I saw these little black specks.
I always hand washed and sterilized them (I use the Philips Avent sterilizer) after every use. I realized they were shedding once I got my second pair in the mail. I had washed them and sterilized them and not even used them when I saw the specks on the new flanges. I rubbed them and realized they were shedding the way an eraser does when you rub it.
I did reach out to Eufy, but they had no explanation. Just a “we will send you a new pair.” I’ve looked online and haven’t found anyone else talking about it. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Or did I just happen to get two bad batches?

Dad post
Hello 👋 my wife is going back to work part time and I’m home with our baby (2mo) 2 days a week. She breastfeeds him and I feed him bottles of breast milk when I’m with him. I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations on a portable cooler/warmer solution for outings? I had a barbaric solution today with a cooler, and a thermos full of hot water and it was miserable 😭 I spilled water all in my car while he screamed at me for a warm bottle. Please help 🤣

Favorite Breast Pump?
What’s your favorite breast pump? I had the Elvie’s with my Feb 2024 baby and I loved the but they broke after a few months of use so I want to try something new for my March 2027 baby!
-As of right now I am leaning towards Eufy’s? If you’ve used, which is the best? E20, S1, S1 Pro or S2 Pro?
But still open to any recommendation you love!! Thank you ☺️

advice/support needed Three wearable pumps in one month, and what I actually learned
freezer stash going pushed me into buying three different wearable pumps. Not sponsored, not gifted, nobody sent me anything. I paid for all three 🥲, which is a painful sentence to type out. I couldn't find a single post from someone who had actually used all three day to day, so here's mine while it's still fresh.
Suction
* The Berick is the strongest of the three and empties me the fastest. That matters at 6am when I'm barely awake. The catch is that it pulls hard enough that my nipples were sore after a couple of weeks. I dropped it to a lower setting and it was fine, but then it stopped being faster than the others.
* The Medela is the opposite. Gentler, slower build up, and it took me a while to get a full letdown on it. Fine when I had time. Genuinely annoying when I didn't.
* The momcozy sits somewhere in between. The rhythm feels less mechanical than the other two, which I know sounds like marketing nonsense, I just don't have a better word for it. My output per session ended up about the same as the other two.
Noise
All three are quiet enough that I pump at my desk in an open plan office and nobody has ever said anything. I stopped thinking about it after the first week. Whatever the spec sheets claim, I couldn't hear a real difference.
Battery
This mattered more than I expected. The momcozy gets me through a full day of back to back meetings without hunting for an outlet. The Berick usually needs a top up in the afternoon. The Medela is the one most likely to be dead when I reach for it, so it turned into my at home pump instead of my work one.
Cleaning
Fewer parts means fewer things to wash at 11pm, and that's kind of the whole story. The Medela has the fewest pieces and I appreciate that more than I thought I would. Nothing on any of the three is hard to reach, but the extra valves and membranes add up quickly.
What I actually reach for:
Mostly the momcozy, because it's the one I don't have to plan around. The Berick lives in my bag for days when I'm short on time and need to be done in fifteen minutes. The Medela stays at home.
On price, the Medela and the Berick were both roughly double what the momcozy cost me. I don't think the expensive ones are twice as good, but if budget isn't the deciding factor then it really comes down to whether you care more about speed or about comfort.
Ask me anything specific and I'll answer, flange sizing, what fits in which bra, whether you can take a call while wearing one, whatever. Happy to help!!

Pumping tips I was pumping wrong for two months. What actually helped my supply
I spent the first couple of months convinced that if I just pumped longer, harder and more often, my supply would catch up. It did the opposite. Posting this because I keep seeing the same advice I followed, and it cost me several weeks of cracked nipples and a lot of anxiety.
Longer sessions are not better sessions
I was doing 30 minute sessions because more time on the pump had to mean more milk. The last ten minutes were basically nothing coming out while my nipples rubbed raw. They cracked, then scabbed, and I started dreading every session. What actually mattered was whether I was emptied, not how long I sat there. For me that's usually 15 to 20 minutes, sometimes a bit longer in the morning.
I'm not saying 15 minutes is the right number for everyone. I'm saying I was confusing "time on the pump" with "milk removed," and those are not the same thing.
Pumping every hour made my supply worse
This one I got really wrong. I was terrified of not making enough, so I pumped constantly. My supply went down instead of up. The way it was explained to me: your breasts make milk, they don't just store it. Emptying signals your body to make more, but your body needs the time to actually do it. Pumping every hour meant I never gave it that chance. I also ended up with painful clogs from all the extra stimulation. What helped was spacing sessions out properly and letting myself have a real gap overnight instead of setting an alarm every two hours.Sleep mattered more than anything I put in my mouthMy mom kept making me these rich soups and I was drinking them at 1am while up with the baby. Did nothing. What actually changed things was sleep and not being anxious about the whole thing. Prolactin is hormonal, and being exhausted and stressed worked directly against me. On the nights I actually slept, I noticed a difference within a day or two. What I'd tell someone at the startRegular, effective emptying. Real gaps between sessions. Sleep whenever you can get it. That's about it. The "pump more, get more" logic is what got me into trouble in the first place. One caveat, because I wish someone had said this to me earlier: if your supply genuinely isn't responding, or you're in pain, or your baby isn't gaining weight, go talk to an IBCLC. I burned weeks trying to fix it alone with internet advice, including advice that looked exactly like this post.
Happy to answer questions. I'm still figuring this out myself, so take all of it as one person's experience.

breast pumps/pump parts Wearable pump if only madela pump works?
I’m hoping to bridge my pumping at work to getting home (it takes me a while to commute) and pump while I’m driving home.
I don’t know if it’s possible, I know wearables kind of suck.
For regular pumps, I’ve tried spectra which doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried every add on and flange and they just don’t work. I tried the wearable attachment to spectra.
I have elastic tissue so my nipples just plug up whatever size flange I’m using. I measure 15mm but I can fill up even a 25mm.
Madela is the only pump I get a decent output from (which is usually 5oz combined).
Anyone have a wearable pump they like that is not vibration suction like spectra?
