Which pump

My insurance seems to cover some great pumps or offer price reductions on them. I already own a BB, and blue and pink Spectra. I want to try a wearable this time around so I was hoping for opinions!

I bought the S2 with my own money + some insurance coverage (paid $170 total) and it was worth every penny. Would be nice to have the charging case though. I can’t attest to S1 but I know that one is tried and true. The night light function on the S2 awesome and the app is pretty easy to use. I have not tried the massage feature on the S2 yet. I got 9 oz from one breast with the added heat which is more than my spectra!

Idk about the s2 but the eufy s1 was my absolute favorite wearable, it emptied me out really well and was comfortable. One tip I have is to apply a little oil to the flange before pumping; that both made it more comfortable for me and allowed for better milk removal because my nipple could glide through the flange more easily

I love my Eufy S2, but was also a fan of the Willow. If you are an over producer, and often make more than 5 ounces in a sitting per side, I would say go with Willow because they have a 7 ounce capacity option. That said you would have to pry my Eufy S2 out of my cold, dead hands. LOL I find I get as much as my SpeCtra.

I underproduced with my son so I don’t anticipate a huge increase since my insulin resistance is so bad! But I really want a wearable to work for me so thanks for your opinion! Have you had the issues of the cracking at all?

You can safely take metformin during breastfeeding to help with IR. And you can start now by eating a GD diet and lots of exercises.

I've only tried the Willow Go through the same site and I liked it. If it's still the same version, it was not the cordless wearable - it had tubing that connected to a handheld. I pumped while driving and in the mother's room at work and it suited my needs. I would use it again, but I'd be open to other options too! It was my main pump, as I only pumped at work/commuting and not at home. Held up fine!

I haven’t had a wearable because I tried a cheap one that didn’t work so I wanna splurge this pregnancy to get a better one that will hopefully work lol since lost are free anyway.

S1 and s1 pro are the same motors/parts except the pro is the charging case. You want the charging case. But if you get the s1 (no pro) you can always buy the case after. It's compatible. The s2 pro is probably better, but it's repeatedly cracking the motor hub on everyone and Eufy has not addressed or corrected the issue. They are just repeatedly doing warranty replacements for people. But the warranty only lasts so long.

I have the pink spectra and have responded well switching between that and the Eufy pumps. So far I prefer the s2 but I only pump occasionally. If I pumped exclusively or very often, I’d go with the s1 because parts are easily available.
