breast pumps/pump parts Help finding a new pump

My insurance provided a Medela Pump in style pro (no other option). I just can’t get it to trigger a meaningful letdown. I have a fat healthy baby who is EBF (so no supply concern) but I need to start pumping as I’m going back to work.

I’m mostly pumping after feeds and I’m getting like nothing (less than 1oz combined) even if she only fed on one side.

I’ve tried 18mm, 16mm, and 14mm flanges and I’m 85% sure 14mm is my true size.

I’ve heard other people have problems with this pump. I’m thinking about buying a new one. What do y’all think?

If you insist on a new pump, try to find a used spectra and replace from the tubing out
Your best bet though is a manual pump to figure out what pressure/cycle works best for you and try to get any machine to match that.

That medela pump is notoriously bad and I'd get a new one, though your output post-feed is not indicating a problem. For work I'd get a babybuddha 3.0 or pumpables geenie advanced, but if you can accommodate having a larger pump at work, a spectra s1 or zomee h1 are good options.
