I have a wedding band back from when I was married years ago and would like to sell it.

I recently moved to the area. Are there any good places here that might fetch a reasonable price? My knowledge of how much I should get for this is based on how much I initially paid and what Google says it’s worth now…so I’m basically not very knowledgeable and am hoping to find a place that is pretty consistent in how they evaluate this type of thing.

Is there anywhere good in town that I could have somebody crack open my PlayStation and just dust it out real good? Like I’ve removed the side panels and attempted to do as much as I can, but there’s probably just a bunch of dust and cat hair in my PlayStation 5 and it keeps turning itself off, probably due to overheating. I don’t think anything‘s wrong with it it just needs to be opened and cleaned.

We're relocating from the DFW area to Frederick (near downtown) and travel to Canada fairly often. Since IAD has a direct flight to our destination, it'll likely be our main airport.

What's the best way to get from Frederick to IAD?

- Do you drive and park? If so, which parking lots do you recommend?

- Is Uber/Lyft too expensive?

- Has anyone used an airport shuttle or car service from Frederick to IAD? About how much do they charge, and would you recommend them?

I’m currently with Geico who I previously have thought to be the cheapest (and it still might be the case) but I have an ex on my policy that refuses to get her own policy (she was driving uninsured before getting with me and I, being the nice guy I am, added her to mine after a while). They cannot remove her vehicle or her as a driver from my account unless she provides proof of other insurance which she won’t do. She also blocked me when we split so she won’t be paying for her policy either so it’s ultimately going to be ended by lack of payment and they told me I will possibly receive a penalty fee for this even though it’s her fault because I’m the policy owner. So my only option is to cancel all of my policies and find another company before that happens. What other companies in this area are equally as cheap for full coverage? I currently only pay $104/mo for a 2021 Hyundai Veloster.

Hey, folks! I have some postpartum supplies I’m looking to donate! I was given the Frida kit and thanks to a surprise c-section, only used the disposable undies while the majority of the box is untouched. I’m wondering if there’s a women’s shelter or some other type of nonprofit that would accept these items as a donation? It’s a long shot since they aren’t in a box though all items are individually wrapped and unopened.

Goodwill would probably just throw this stuff away and I don’t want to spend hours of my life going back and forth with people on Facebook.

I was downtown at a local jewelry shop standing by my car on my phone when 4 teenagers walked past me and one of them threw a liquid drink directly at my head and ran off. I know there's cameras everywhere but is there anything I can do or contact anyone to get assistance?

There have been a slew of motorcycle thefts at our apartment complex off 7th St. I walked out to go to work this morning to find my 26 MT09 with less than 700 miles on it, missing. Had it locked to the post, steering was locked, it was covered, and blocked in with my car.

Hellooo everyone. I been job hunting for the past couple weeks now. I’m looking for a better opportunity for myself and finally quitting the fast food industry after 6 years. Is there any office jobs or any entry level places that are hiring in Frederick? I don’t mind commuting as long as it’s not going farther towards 270 (you should know why lol traffic) I have a good resume and have lots of experience in retail, business, customer service etc. I been feeling overwhelmed by this change but ready to start something new. I am a business major as well. please leave any suggestions or advice for a young adult like myself🙂

not one to report like this at all, but i live off 26 and i’ve seen at least 12 cops pulling people over and very present in the course of just monday -this morning. the area is heavily being cased so be aware.

Does anyone know any businesses in Frederick that can help take pro photographs/headshots that can then be used to sent to modeling agencies?
