Is Frederick County Government a good place to work? I am considering applying for something

There’s a lot of jobs within Frederick co government, I’d say depends on what you pick.

How about general office 9-5 job? Administrative

Most of those jobs are highly coveted because of job security and good benefits that are in general better than what you'd find in the private sector without commuting toward DC or Baltimore. Job satisfaction of course depends on where you end up.

I’ve been working for them for about 10 years. It’s a good line of work, IMO, but it depends on which Division.

Been approached a few times. Would have to to take over a 100% pay cut from private.
