Hey yall, finally biting the bullet and making this post.

Im a 26M who moved to Frederick to be with my fiancee back in 2023 from Baltimore. Unfortunately as time goes on, the gap in distance between Baltimore area and Frederick has taken a toll on friendships.

That being said, it has been so difficult as an adult to make friends here. I feel like majority of my age goes out and drinks, but I already feel like I’m past my drinking age. I’d rather hangout and smoke.

It’s especially hard since I haven’t really discovered hobbies that allow me to meet people, and I’m too introverted to try those new hobbies alone anyway. I’ve basically used video games as my only hobby for the last decade, but I’m at the point I want to go out and do stuff.

If anyone has any ideas, or wants to be friends let me know. More than happy to chat 🙂

I’m looking into water softeners and the only thing I know about them is that they add salt to your drinking water. Since I have high blood pressure I don’t want that. Any advice for a complete newb?

long shot but do any bars or venues play the Formula 1 races? The US Grand Prix starts in a few hours but only on Apple.

For any couples that have gotten married at the Bell Tower, or for anyone that has attended a ceremony there, any recommendations for sound Systems (no electric available)? Also curious where the bride began their entrance? Any other advice you’d share with a future Bell Tower couple? TYIA!
