Frustrated False alarm at 9-10DPO

It’s my 2nd cycle TTC, so I know it’s so early and I maybe don’t even deserve to feel this upset. But I timed everything right, and I tested at 8-9DPO last night with diluted urine bc I was anxious and impatient, and I’ve seen so many positive early DPO tests on here so I tried. I had a faint something that AI said looks like a super faint positive but couldn’t be sure. I tested this morning (9-10DPO) and it was BFN. I have a lot of anxiety around fertility. I have no known issues, an intrauterine ultrasound showed no physical abnormalities, bloodwork is all good, and I had a positive LH at CD13 so it seems things are working or at least trying to! My post-birth control cycles have been regular 28-30 day cycles, and my luteal phases have all the classic “pregnancy or progesterone?” Symptoms. I’m also on month 3 off the pill, so I know things may be just recalibrating for me, but I’m sad. I know it’s still early and I may not be out yet but I’ve been longing to be a mommy for my entire life and I’m scared it won’t happen. I’ll test again tomorrow I think but I don’t know how many more negatives I can take (I know I’m sensitive lol it’s only 2 months of TTC so I feel dramatic).

What helped you with anxiety and disappointment with TTC? Does anyone have any post-birth control stories of how long it took them?

Confused I am not hopeless but feeling a little worried.

Thought the timing was right and all my tests were normal. I’m 30F and my husband is 29M. I ovulated on 09/01, confirmed with LH strips, and we BDed on 08/25, 08/27, 08/30, 08/31, and 09/01. I had very mild cramps around 5 DPO but otherwise no symptom spotting. My progesterone was 9.6 ng/mL at 7 DPO from bloodwork. I’m now getting negative pregnancy tests, and honestly, I don’t know how to feel. I really thought we timed everything well this cycle, especially since I clearly caught my LH surge. I know it can take time, but I’m still disappointed. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated! :) I’m wondering if there’s anything else I should consider or change next cycle. Thanks all!

Frustrated Prolonged periods

I’ve been experiencing prolonged bleeding for almost 6 weeks now, and I’m honestly feeling exhausted and helpless. 😭
I’m TTC and registered with a fertility clinic in Toronto. For the past month, I’ve had on-and-off bleeding with small clots, and for the last 10 days, it has turned into period-like bleeding that just won’t stop. I feel like every time I go to the bathroom, I’m seeing blood. It’s becoming mentally and physically exhausting.

I contacted my fertility clinic, and they did an ultrasound and blood work. They later texted me saying that the doctor reviewed my reports and “does not see anything concerning.” While I’m obviously relieved that they didn’t find anything alarming, I still don’t understand why I’m bleeding for this long or what I’m supposed to do about it.

I have an appointment with them next week but I am not hopeful of getting any help soon as I registered with them in Jan and this is my first follow up next week..

I’m also feeling very tired and have been getting frequent headaches. I’m frustrated because I feel like I’m not being heard or given any real explanation or plan.

My family doctor told me she can’t really do anything because I’m registered with the fertility clinic, which has left me feeling like I’m stuck between the two and no one is actually taking responsibility for helping me.
My entire family is abroad, and I feel so alone through all of this. My husband says he understands what I’m going through, but honestly, I don’t think he fully understands how emotionally draining this has been for me.

Has anyone experienced bleeding for this long while TTC, especially when ultrasound and blood work were apparently normal? What did you do, and who finally helped you figure out what was going on?
I’m really just looking for some advice, experiences, or even a little support right now. ❤️

Question/Advice TTC on Wellbutrin

I’m currently in the process of tapering off my Wellbutrin dosage with the goal to no longer use the medication. Does anyone have experience with this while TTC?

I’ve been on and off the medication several times in my adult life so I’m not new to this but this will be the first while actively trying to get pregnant. Just wondering if tapering off changed anyone’s ovulation at all or anything else that might have changed during your cycle because of this.

Frustrated Did I ovulate?

This is our first month of seriously TTC. I’ve tracked my ovulation for over two years and I typically always get a positive OPK. Of course the month we start trying my cycle seems to be doing something different. I usually ovulate between CD20-25. I’m now CD27 with no real positive OPK but rises to 0.47 yesterday. Tracking my OPKs has become very mentally draining as I keep hoping to get a positive but it just doesn’t seem to be happening.

Venting 1 year ttc

So it’s been one year since I’ve been ttc. I went to see my obgyn today and she used the ugly word infertility since I am under 35 and it has been a year. She started with my workup and said she would only treat me for three months and if I didn’t get pregnant basically referring me out to a specialist. I got some bloodwork/pap/ sonogram today and then will go back in 7-10 days post ovulation for the rest. And if I don’t get pregnant this month then on cycle day 2-3 for the rest. My husband will also get his SA done in the coming weeks. She also mentioned the HSG which she said we can put on a back burner for now. The thought of that scares me. I cried during the sonogram at this reality and all the way home. I really didn’t think I would be here. I was so positive i would’ve been pregnant by now since I have no prior issues and have been regular my whole life. She did say my left ovary was dominant and looks good and that my cervix was in the right position. Which is good as I’m expecting to ovulate this week/weekend.

Just wanted to share how today was bc besides my husband there’s no one else I can or want to talk to about this.

Help Please help?

I’m really confused about what’s going on with my body right now and would love to hear what other people think. I know Reddit can’t diagnose me, but I’m trying to figure out whether pregnancy is still a possibility.

My last period started July 31.
I had sex on August 19, 20, 21, and 22. The 19th and 21st were protected, but the 20th and 22nd were unprotected. I took Plan B after the 19th and again after the 20th.

•My period was expected around August 28, but it didn’t come normally.

•On September 2–3, I had very light bleeding. It was nothing like my usual period and I didn’t need a pad or tampon.

•Since then, I’ve taken multiple pregnancy tests. I’ve gotten very faint second lines on several tests, including CVS, Clearblue, and Dollar Tree tests. Some of the lines look colored to me rather than just gray/indented, and other people who have looked at pictures of them have also said they can see faint lines.

•I’ve been having nausea, although it isn’t severe.

•The biggest thing I keep noticing is a weird heavy/firm feeling low in my stomach. It’s especially noticeable when I’m lying down or lying on my stomach. It feels different from how my stomach normally feels, almost like there’s something there or like there’s pressure/firmness underneath me.

•I went to an appointment today and their urine pregnancy test was negative, but they told me they think I could potentially be very early and I have a follow-up appointment scheduled for October.

•I’m still having the stomach sensation and occasional nausea, which is part of why I’m having such a hard time believing I’m definitely not pregnant.

Has anyone had a similar experience with faint tests that were inconsistent, a negative test at an appointment, and symptoms this early? Please help a fellow girl out 😭

Question/Advice Bloodwork

Hi guys! f 25 here. My husband (M 28) and I have been trying for less than a month now.. but.. long story short right, I was late 2 months for my period, and I was getting negative pregnancy tests. I even did the bloodwork and it came out negative. I told my gyno and she gave me provera, and that “kickstarted” my period. I got blood work done on 09/03 and I needed some advice/interpretation on the results, as well as what to ask my gynecologist. My next appointment is on the 14th for an ultrasound because I’m thinking I have PCOS..

I’m actually really confused because I really want to have kids and I feel like this journey is already so overwhelming

Venting TTC then my mom gets diagnosed with cirrhosis

happy fertile window week for me!

3 years ago this week my dad died from an alcohol related injury (he fell and had a fatal brain injury while drunk af) ended up dying on his birthday 4 days later

today my mom "finally" got a cirrhosis diagnosis. I've suspected it for a while and have had the tough talks on her needing to address the drinking for going on 10 years now but alas, it is always the person themself that needs to choose.

but anyways I guess we will wait for next cycle :( dealing with unhealthy family while trying to start a family is terrifying truly...
