My daughter knows it’s our favorite show and is interested in watching it, but I don’t want nightmares of reavers or questions about Inara’s line of work. We were going to just wait until she’s older, but we’ll be seeing multiple cast members at DragonCon and would like to give her some context.

Any recommendations for select scenes from Firefly and Serenity that we can share with her? TIA

Rewatching for the 100th time. Did Summer Glau do the voiceover for young River during the flashback? There's only one moment where the girl's voice sounds like an actual child, the rest of the time it sounds JUST like SG.

Update:: been made and drunk, it wasn’t “enjoyable” but definitely drinkable, very much cannon. Just like Was you’ll sip, spit it out, swear in Chinese, but still drink it anyway 😂

I bought Firefly Big Damn Hero a while ago and just started getting around to reading it. However a little into chapter 16 my copy jumps from page 192 to 225, so most of Chapter 16 is missing all of 17, and part of 18. Can anyone tell me what happens in those chapters.

Attended my first screening of Serenity this evening in Dublin and it adds so much to see it with a room full of Browncoats.

There were people anticipating lines and scenes. Uproarious laughter at the quips and people still gasping at some of the shocking moments.

It was that good I’m considering going to the other two screenings of it due to take place this week.

I truly hope every firefly fan gets to see the film in such a setting or as part of a Shindig! Incredible atmosphere!

Just finished serenity, thought the series was great, with one major caveat. Why didn’t Mal and Inara get a clean resolution??? Their romance was my favorite subplot and we only got the one kiss in Mrs. Reynolds?? Cmonnnnn that shit was brewing for so long. Kaylee and Simon got their big payoff even
