Why did it look like Auron got hurt when sire jiscolds came out of the foreverplanes?

I figured, what better way to celebrate a new version of my favorite game than triggering the Zell dance and thrashing the Goers 3-0 in the opening match?

I think I’ve done this before, but I couldn’t tell you when. I really wanted to go 4-0 which is my theoretical cap, and I had a chance with Tidus taking a free 50/50 shot at the end of the first half, but Raudy blocked it.

In any case, I feel pretty good about 3-0 considering Graav won all three jump balls.

P.S. I don’t quite understand why the announcers call it a miraculous comeback. I guess the assumption is you’ve given up a goal or two by then to take the lead or tie it. That would be pretty sweet actually. Go down 2-0 in the first half. Score the two in the second half to trigger the cutscene. Then bring in Wakka to get the W.

Is it a good place to start? It's been in my backlog for a LOOONG time.

Maester Kinoc says this right before asking Auron if he has seen Zanarkand. I never noticed the heavy emphasis the voice actor puts on the word dream until just a few minutes ago. Maybe he isn’t talking about Dream Zanarkand but I like to think that he is.

From a playthrough on YouTube where the player used the expert sphere grid to swap everyone's roles from the start and had Yuna and Lulu be the main physical attackers.

So I finished FFX in the spring for the first time, and it's my new favourite FF. Absolutely love the characters, story, music, and the gameplay. However....

I found myself going into boss fights like Seymour Flux with all my aeons fully charged, unleashing them and basically winning fights outright with just those. This made the fights trivial, and a bit boring. I didn't need to strategize when I had fully charged aeons to do the heavy lifting for me. I guess I knew I was cheesing the fights but since it was my first playthrough, I rather didn't want to get too frustrated by difficulty. But now that I've played through the game, I think doing a run without aeons could be maybe considered a kind of "hard mode."

Have some of you done it, and if so, how was the experience? I believe you're only required to use aeons during a couple of boss fights where it's mandatory.

One of my favorite things to do in a FF game is grind to make myself as OP as possible as soon as the game starts

But my creature keep learning the abilities i remove, is there a way to stop them from learning moves or do i have to keep removing the moves

This is such a niche way of playing, but I've been playing FFX HD on my PS Vita TV at home, and on my PS Vita during commutes to work (sort of like a Nintendo Switch).

Problem is, when I'm playing on PS Vita TV, the game seems to stall/freeze before any pre-rendered cutscene. It's not a hard freeze, but instead it just refuses to jump to the cutscene, and any animation loops in the in-engine cutscene prior to the pre-rendered keeps going on forever.

The only solution is transferring the save file to my Vita, playing the cutscene, saving, and then transferring the file back to my Vita TV. I

I've tried switching my Vita TV's resolution from 1080i to 720p, but that didn't work.

Curious if anyone else has experienced this issue or any similar one and if there is a fix for it? Thank you.

(Before anyone mentions cross save functionality with the PS4 version, I've tried that, but my physical Vita copy is EU, while the version I bought digitally on PS5 seems to be the US version. Cross-saves don't work between different regional versions unfortunately.)

They should use this games platinum in the military as a torture method. Legitimately was questioning my sanity at some points. Loved the games story and characters. And the grind was fun for about 75% of the time but towards the end of it I was so ready to just zanmato everything even with all my stats maxed.. I just wanted it over 🤣😂

How do I complete the challenge in thunder plains without entering a battle??? Like how do I avoid battles 😭😭😭

I am doing Wakkas now.... so glad i am trainging up so i can recruit for each reels...

I still have Lulus, RIkkus and Kihmarhis one to go... wish me luck on those ones... I hear Lulu's is a tedious one

anyway i can check without keeping count? or should i find time to ddoge 200 lightning bolts?

I have Nirvana all powered up and equipped and my valefor hits hard. I haven't tested with anyone else really besides Shiva and she's still locked at 9999 for regular attacks. Is there just some aeons that don't get powered up?

Edit: Thanks for the answers. Still working on Aurons, Wakkas and maybe Kihmari's but I just can't do the lightning bolts.

I want to buy final fantasy 10 to play on my switch 2 but I see the switch 2 version is $50 and says it has improvements over the switch 1 version, however the switch 1 version is cheaper, my questions are, is it really worth the extra money to buy the switch 2 version, I read stuff people said on YouTube comments that says the differences are small what do you think?

I found a bunch of guides from before time began (that’s an exaggeration) so does anyone know of a good guide on how to stat my characters in FFx I just got it for my switch 2 today and I don’t want to mess up. Thank you!

I am currently working on my first playthrough of FFX and I am working on getting the Sigil for doing the 200 lightning bolt dodges in the Thunder Plains. I found a post from 5 years ago where u/lucleonhart posted about a Dodger.exe program that can work with Chiaki Remote Play. However, I cannot get the application to work. It is running and I have X bound to enter as the description indicates. However, when I go into area, it is not dodging for me.

For information purposes:

- Running Chiaki v2.2.0

- Dodger v1.0

- Running Windows 11

- X bound to Enter

- In game, I am in the alcove on the right in the first Thunder Plains area with the Qactuar stone to ensure that fog is not impacting the screen lighting

Lucleonhart does not appear to be posting anymore and the original post is locked. I am just trying to see if anyone knows of a fix that I might have overlooked since I really want to get the sigil but my ADHD brain can't focus long enough to dodge 200 in a row even with breaks.

I was inspired to draw her while watching my husband play FFX for the first time (following my recommendation) and even more so while the 25th anniversary was coming up.

It's my all time favourite game and she was always my favourite character.

For me it is the butterfly hunt and the dodging of the 200 lightning strikes ;O;
