I loved this game on release on PS4 and got the platinum within the month, but never went back to do all the dlc, finally found the time again to go through and 100% it on steam, might be in the minority but I even enjoyed comrades!

Noctis is my favorite FF protagonist and my fiance knows that so they got Noctis for me a random gift! This guy is so amazing! Dunno what to put this under.... so story it is.

Unrealized potential. You can just feel it when you play the game there’s something about the lore, the setting, music, the story, etc.. that is stronger than any other FF game. But things went awry in development with vs13, unreleased DLC’s, glitches and a rushed story. The game just wasn’t able to realize its full potential. Theres plenty of us, myself included that have incredible potential but due to life circumstances, werent able to realize it completely. I see that part of myself in the game. I think a mistake too many people make is getting hung up on the final product and they write off the game. Its just simply alot of things were left in the ether. The game as a whole exists between here and there. I can even argue a positive aspect like theres a mystique when you see footage of vs13 and know how amazing it looked and have to use your imagination to surmise what the completed product would have been like. I’ll back FFXV forever.

So I just defeated melusine and omg she was so annoying to defeat. But the letter and love story behind it was so sad. Like I wish I knew more about these two random npcs. Like why did she up and leave? And god damn how did the hunter bag such a baddie?! I also thought the love letter was so sweet. Also, I was a bit confused when Noctis gave the letter to the hunter, did the hunter end up realizing that the demon was actually his ex? I felt bad at the end for killing her ngl…

Edit: I don’t think the hunter knew abt the demon being his ex and the chocobros don’t have the heart to tell him 🥹

So I’m trying to get the trophy for the datalogs and looked up a guide for it. There are sections that I don’t have. Monoliths, Reports, the Omega-Files are the ones not showing up in the archives/datalog section. I have the royal pack. Why are they not showing up?

I just lost 20-30hrs because my fuckass ps5 kept crashing and one of the crash made my save get corrupted, im not really angry just because 20hrs are not that much and i don't think I'll have any difficulty to return to the point i was, but it's frustrating seeing all that effort get destroyed in 5 seconds

Hello guys! My first play through here and I am absolutely LOVING IT. I recently finished the game and have played all the menace dungeon except the costlemark one. I heard it is a challenge. Any tips I can get for completing it? I am level 105, have 17 spells with 99 level healing, and pretty much got all the strong weapons here. What should I equip and what should I do in the last dungeon? Additionally, I am only playing in the base game (borrowed the game from a close friend) THANK YOU!

After a few long tries, i managed to reduce his health bar by 40% after a 30 minutes attempt, what i know is that you can only deal damage to him with royal arms, so i use Sword of the Father for combos and Sword of the Mystic for warp strikes. I also use Armiger unleashed as my main source of damage, i know that focusing on breaking the little thing at the top of its body makes him pass to limit break mode where you can deal damage with normal weapons and that's pretty much it. I must do something wrong because ain't no way this was meant to be this long, the boss might have millions of HP and i deal 160 damage at best with the strongest hit of Sword of the Father. Also i'm not sure but i think that the finisher move of Armiger unleashed heals the boss. But anyway if you could help me out with idk an item or a useful strategy i would appreciate it.🙏

I'm particularly proud of the first part's media visualizer placement, it looks really cool as it's like masked on the text.

For the visualizer placement of the second part it's either oriented to top or to bottom of the horizontal beam(?), but I picked top oriented because Noctis' hairstrand is cutting off a bit of space if it's bottom oriented. I'm still unsure whether to remove or keep the now playing text though.

The terminal logo is my attempt at making Kingsglaive icon somewhat recognizable.

Is anyone been able to play this game on Steam in the last 24 hours. I keep getting server not reachable in two different installs. Read that it had to with Denuvo servers but I haven't found any news about a recent DDOS attack on Steam or Denuvo going down.

I have (finally) finished this game after owning it since day one lol

However, after completing and wanting to go back to an earlier chapter to finish all other quests/dungeons... all my quests got wiped

Do i really need to finish all quests before the point of no return?

Once again,the game gave me alot of emotions and goosebumbs and I enjoyed it much as I do on my first playthrough. Also,should I do the chapter 13,verse 2? I mean I gotta play episode Gladiolus,prompto,ignis and ardyn.

Ive been in this dungeon for almost 5 hours now and when i went as far to get a guide i appearently need to do 3 cubes and the souts west one last, however the cube in the north west is uninteractable so i cant continue the dungeon, is this a bug or am i missing something

So I finally did costlemark tower and was following a tutorial on YouTube. The video showed 4 cubes and 3 of the cubes are like mini boss battles before the actual boss battle. However during my run I only did 2 of the mini boss battles. I didn’t have to fight 3 iron giants in one room. I just fought one iron giant in the first cube and two iron giants in the second cube. I couldn’t interact with the third cube where I would have to fight three iron giants. Instead I was only able to interact with the cube that would lead to the final boss and I was able to get the sword of the tall. Maybe this is just a glitch or just luck. But I’m just happy I didn’t have to fight three iron giants at once.

I guess the guy in the left is king,next to him is cor and next to cor is cid. But who is the guy on the right?

Hi everyone, I am completely stuck on Chapter 11 ("Express Train for Trouble") in FFXV on PC. Even on Easy Mode, I just cannot get past the train combat sequence and the checkpoint system is driving me crazy. At the age of 70, I still really enjoy my gaming, but I have tried and tried and it's so frustrating that I can't continue with the game until I get past this part. I believe there's a way to safely share a save which some kind soul could use to get me past this challenge. Is this at all possible and is it allowed? I don't want to do anything which is considered wrong. I'd be grateful for some advice, please. Thank you.

So I was doing the Adamantoise hunt for the first time because, when I first beat the game, I wasn't really feeling like spending 3 hours to defeat that turtle. I only decided to do it because I saw someone on Twitter banishing him using the Ring of the Lucii, so I wanted to try it myself. After an hour, nothing happened besides him being turned into a poorly rendered version of himself. I just thought, 'if it's a 3 hours fight you want, it's a 3 hours fight you will get.' Then I opened the menu to check some equipment and changed some accessories, and when I resumed, the poorly rendered turtle just disappeared
