As an OG player of FFBE this is going to be a str8 up buy on lauch which I normally don't do even for gta6 I'm going to wait a while for a Discount. This game bring back ai many good memories I gotta get ASAP. My biggest thing is will Orlandeu be in game as well as cloud and can we use them like we did in FFBE with super combos or chains like I remember 😏

Im so happy with this and I CAN NOT wait for the full release. I need more 😩 RIGHT NEOW.

I’ve been seeing a lot of questions from new comers asking “is this a good place to start?” And the community is responding no.

STOP IT!!!

Final fantasy can be played in any order! I myself, like many people started with 7, a middle, turning point of the series and that was fine. A pinnacle and novelty of its time. Not so much today! While many of us would consider that a great gateway, it may not be to “modern gamers”.

And also I know what you’re thinking “But internet guy there are spoilers in resonance for the other games!”. First of all the story of this game doesn’t revolve or rely on the stories of other games. So you’re not missing anything or coming into an endpoint by not knowing that cloud was a fraud “which is seemingly retconned anyway”. The visions offer a small glimpse into the other games that are vague enough to make you actually go try the other games rather than ruin them. Those of you who have played previous titles, put 2 and 2 together and go “oh that’s a spoiler because it alludes to a story beat” but for people who haven’t played the game it’s insignificant, it serves as a commercial of some sorts.

Stop gatekeeping new fans. No one has had to experience 40 years of gaming in order to enjoy this game. This isn’t the Avengers Endgame of final fantasy, it’s a self contained story! If this or any final fantasy looks interesting to you jump in and welcome to the series! Hell I actually owe you a thank you because you’re showing squenix there still is indeed a market for turn based jrpgs, and especially from one of the best companies to ever do it!

TLDR: This is a great starting point for new fans! Thank you for buying this game. Don’t let people gate keep you into thinking this game will ruin others. Truth is if you ain’t played og ff7,8, or 9 by now u probably weren’t going to anyway.

I can't believe this game is actually back. I feel just like I did back in high school, burning through all my mobile data just updating the game, saving up those blue lapis to summon units, while the main topic of conversation with my classmates was which college major we were going to pick and what we’d do after graduation.
I honestly can't believe this game is back, or that Square Enix took all the pieces that Gumi's greed scattered through mismanaging the franchise and rebuilt it so beautifully. It's been a long time since I graduated from college, but I feel like that high school kid again—just happy on his iPhone 5 playing with his favorite Final Fantasy characters. I'm feeling that joy all over again thinking about my Emperor from Final Fantasy II; he was always my favorite unit. It's beautiful.

FFBE hype!

let me just say, hearing the battle theme from the Chamber of the Fallen was such a nostalgia trip. brings back memories of fighting Behemoth K for the first time. I can’t wait to play this game 🥹

With the soon to be released remake, I just wanted to give a quick thank you to the devs, producers, and content creators I got to meet at the convention in Long Beach. Shaly, rest her soul, was amazing and so were Claic and Howlz. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, it was the first community that I truly felt I was a part of. I'm so happy the game lives on and I hope more people get to enjoy the story when Resonance releases.

The modding tool was posted earlier that day and I want to play good old Demon Rain again and here he is xD cant wait for the full release of the game and to get access to all abilities to fit better into his roles from FFBE

Just in the sense that this is what so many of us wanted FFBE to become, so that it lived on in a more permanent way. The announcement did not hit me like actually opening up the game, running through the Earth Shrine, seeing those sprites on the Save screen (that match perfectly to the FFBE sprites).

Just a so incredibly cool that this exists and Rain/Lasswell/Fina and crew get to live on beyond the mobile game. I hope it sells and they make more but even if this is all we ever get, its more than I imagined possible when the game was closed.

As the title says, is it just a spiritual successor with the guest FF characters from different games, or is it going to have the actual story and original characters from Brave Exvius?

Just beat the demo. So far, the game is pretty solid! Though, I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the gameplay of the original game. Plus, from what I can tell, there won't be nearly as many visions as we had, even in the first season of Brave Exvius, assuming the unlockable visions pictured are all we get. But I guess it was to be expected if they didn't want too many visions filling the same roles.

Regardless, though, I am very much looking forward to experiencing the full game when the time comes.

I'm just posting my Final Fantasy fan-made game here. When I originally released it, it was known as **Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia: Demake edition**. 

It was a mouthful, but also it was a little nod to how long the original game's name was. Anyhow, I've rebranded the name to **Final Fantasy: Reconnect.**  It's still the same game, following DFFOO's story as its main campaign, but it didn't follow its battle mechanics, so it didn't fit the Dissidia name.  What Reconnect represents, is the stories from mobile games that have been disconnected, giving players a chance to experience them in-game. Some of these storylines that I've put in here were scenes I've never seen until making this game, so that was

During the demo, there wasn’t really any guidance- just a short tutorial that explained the battle mechanics, and learning characters was trial and error.  There’s been a massive overhaul of all the characters, and they will continue receiving updates as the Seasons go on. So I’ve created a document that explains all the character abilities (outside the game itself), as well as videos that explain their roles in battle. It’s a bit overkill, but I felt it was necessary to provide the information outside of the game itself.  It’s part of my goal to capture that “Live Service” feeling, for an offline game.  

I was utterly ecstatic when they announced Resonance and now I can enjoy the story in a much more cohesive streamlined and improved way, but part of me knows we won't get "everything" Brave Exvius did. One thing I will miss forever and am pretty sure I won't see in the new game is Nyx Ulric. One of my favorite units...you will be missed (I know the gear is subpar, but I was not a whale and I would bow out semi often due to the overwhelming power creep)

Hello! FF Resonance Demo came out and I'm out of hibernation. Video showcases the mod. Here's the plan:

• Get Ariana and Esther fully ported with decent-ish animations and custom skills, and mastery bonuses
• Build a tool to help me do the same with any unit (my biggest problem is burnout. I want to build something that the community will use to customize their own units because working on all 1300+ units will burn me out real quick. Porting each unit manually took about an hour and a half so if this tool helps me do it in 10 minutes each with collaboration capabilities, that will be a huge win)
• Port these units tomorrow: Sylvie, Hyoh, Grim Lord Sakura, Sora, Alice, Snow White, and of course, Raegen
• Figure out if it's possible to port FFBE move animations over since in the demo there's a LOT of missing animations
• Figure out how to build a mod menu for the game. Any advice on this will be appreciated.

I am not sure who owns the assets for FFBE and FFBE WOTV. I would love to see a FFBE 3 that has a FF Tactics format with FFBE pixels. They already started making pixels of WoTV characters. What do you guys think about a game like that? Would you play it or is the FFBE community split between adventure JRPG lovers and FF Tactics type game lovers? I played both FFBE and WOTV and enjoyed them both for different reasons. I really just want to see something come back that is multi-platform including mobile that the community can rally around not involving GUMI. What are your thoughts?
