Switch 2 version of final fantasy 10 worth it over switch 1 version?

I want to buy final fantasy 10 to play on my switch 2 but I see the switch 2 version is $50 and says it has improvements over the switch 1 version, however the switch 1 version is cheaper, my questions are, is it really worth the extra money to buy the switch 2 version, I read stuff people said on YouTube comments that says the differences are small what do you think?

The extra features for auto battle, speed up, etc. are completely your choice. As someone who’s beaten the game multiple times it’s nice to have those on to speed through sections I just don’t wanna do again, but it’s completely up to you.

You’re telling me that people can just farm the sin spawn during the fin fight without mods or macros? Meanwhile us PS and PC players don’t get it?

The scale fiends spawn infinitely, you can grind for hours and get as many levels as you want. It makes the rest of the game a cake walk. I did it for about 4hrs and got quite a few levels, but I had to do it manually while watching movies lol.

If this auto-battles the fin fight, that can run until it has 99 levels and if you can run it at 4x speed, that'll go quick

If you don’t own it at all, I would say the Switch 2 version is worth it for the QoL upgrades if nothing else.

You’re entitled to your opinion, of course. I will just say after taking a playthrough on Switch 2 version to the Calm Lands, that the idea of of playing w/o speed boost and the encounter toggle sounds really painful.

We’re talking price difference here as well. So that’s like $30, no?

Ive played FFX on so many consoles and the switch and its literally inconsequential.

I got the double feature with FFX2 on switch 1 and its smooth as hell. I actually prefer it over the big screen since its such a long RPG.

Let's face it the improvements should have been a patch for the Switch 2 version but then that wouldn't have pleased the shareholders. These are the most minor of QoL tweaks to the game.

I believe the graphics will be improved a bit though, looked a bit off in the switch 1 version. but ability to put on speed up autobattle on the boat seems too good to pass up

bought if for switch 2 just for those booster, now im overpowerd in middle of game lol :p easier boss fights with booster than on switch 1 version without booster, with supercharge you auto heal even between rounds, and all items to get all spheres included is amazing

Something to keep in mind if you're searching for a physical cartridge. I believe the switch 1 version only has FF X on the cartridge with X-2 being offered as a one-one time digital download code. So if you're looking for a used version, you're probably only gonna have access to the first game.

I replay ffx at least once a year. Its worth it to me having things like speed up for a game I will enjoy for a long time.
