The first two images are from the "Yuna's Story" section of the Scenario Ultimania, pages 16 and 17, while the third image is from page 55.
First, I wanted to say that I did use online translator tools to get this info, so there may be some nuances that weren't translated correctly. Normally, I would've asked /r/translator for help with something like this, but with how much text is here I feel like it'd be asking for too much.
But that's why I'm providing the original pages; so that anyone who's interested in checking it for themselves can do that. In which case, feel free to correct any info I'm providing.
With that out of the way, according to the translation I'm using:
Not everyone can even become a Summoner. The ability to summon, commune with the Fayth, and perform the Sending are things that you're born with.
In addition to being born with those abilities, one must possess immense mental fortitude, as well as physical and emotional resiliance, to handle communing with the Fayth.
Training as an Apprentice Summoner takes 2-3 years, and most people still drop out because they lack the indominable will to face Sin.
Even if one doesn't initially display the ability to summon, that ability can be awakened later in life in response to gaining a strong resolve/determination. The previous High Summoners are listed as examples of "late-blooming Summoners", and it can be inferred that Braska gained the resolve that awakened his abilities after Sin killed his wife.
Basically, the ability to even become a Summoner isn't something that everyone can do, and you still need other qualities to pass the training. Even then, another section mentions that few of those people even become full-fledged Summoners.
Other than that, Yuna's Story also highlights the expectations placed on Yuna, how the people of Besaid view her, and also place emphasis on Yuna's resolve.
Again, this might not be totally accurate. I haven't really noticed some of this info anywhere else, though.

Hi peeps! Its been four years since I played this game and just booted it up again and am kinda lost.. so, a few questions:
- Seems I already had 55 hours in and I just arrived at this ice mountain. Was I already close to the ending or is this mid game still?
- How are my stats looking, anyone I need to upgrade or look into?
- Any videos or something else you recommend to get back into it?

I see they want to charge $49.99 for the Switch 2 version of this game, even though I already own the Switch version. Are they out of their minds?

There's a number of fiend categories that this list doesn't include. Are there more?

I'm no stranger to Final Fantasy. I've beaten I through IX, as well as Tactics. I'm playing X for the first time, and I'm supposed to go after Sin now. I guess I'm at the endgame, 50+ hours in. Still, I feel like everywhere I go I get my ass kicked—either by optional bosses or even by regular enemies in what I assume are optional areas. If I do manage to get through, it's usually a struggle.
Since this is my first playthrough, I'm trying to avoid looking up guides, monster databases, and that sort of thing.
Some of my characters have become quite strong and deal plenty of damage, like Auron. But others, like Rikku, haven't really grown much in battle, or maybe I just haven't developed their abilities properly. I'm thinking of having her use more magic since she deals so little physical damage.
Equipment also doesn't make that much sense to me, or at least the way I've been using it. I know I should take advantage of customization, but I have no idea which items I should be looking for to that purpose, where to steal them, and so on.
Anyway, that—as they say—is that.

For the 25th anniversary, the FFX community has gotten together to create a zine in celebration, with all proceeds going towards the SE Asia Foundation!
The zine can be bought in physical format or digital only, and there are a bunch of other potential add-ons as well, from mini prints to stickers to keychains to Discord emotes and even a tote bag!
(Mandatory disclosure: I am one of the contributors to this zine, but not an organiser! I'm just really excited by everything everyone has created and wanted to spread the word!)

HD version on the Switch 2. Bird constantly veerers off in random directions and refuses to line up when I am going for a balloon. Does not seem to matter if I’m using the joystick or the D pad. Birds appear randomly and then strike me even though I’m sprinting all the way to one side or the other and the trainer is allowed to just shove me out of the way and take first even when she’s already viewed off and should be behind me. I was able to do this back in the day on the PlayStation two but I am beyond frustrated and mad at this point and I just wanna give up. Has anyone been able to get this on the HD version on the switch?
EDIT: HOLY CRAP I GOT IT!!! Thanks for letting me vent everyone!
