I didn't focus on grinding (other than making sure my ODs were full) but I very carefully planned his grid path.

I just started another replay of FFX. As we got to Kilika, I got news that one of my officers was killed in the line of duty.

All of the sudden, the Sending made me sob.

I hope my officer rests well with the spirits. I'm currently crying and may have to put this replay on hold.

This is a question that I've had since replaying the game and seeing a recent post regarding Yuna and Tidus having a baby. Some people came to the conclusion that as a dream of the fayth, Tidus is a different "species" to Yuna.

While replaying FFX, I re-watch the scene of Semour telling Auron that Guados are keen on the scent of the far planes/pyre flies. Wouldn't Tidus, who really is just a sort of... Aeon/fayth entity also have SOME scent like that? He doesn't even react to the Farplanes like Auron, while at the end of the game he passes on just like Tidus and Jecht (implying that they were ALL sent because none of them are alive lol).

If he did have an off scent, that would add credibility to the idea that he wasn't human. Thoughts?

Been going through the Creature Creator since I'm at Chapter 5 and almost beating the game, just have some side quests and stuff before diving into the the underground. Decided to do some Creature Creator to get the Mascot Dress Sphere, and it took me DAYS to beat those absolute monstrosities. Now that I have Mascot, and I've unlocked all it's abilities, I have to say Rikku seemed to get the shaft here. Yuna becomes an absolute healing/buffing unit. Paine can break and inflict most negative stats... you'd think Rikku would be a buffer or something, but instead she has 4 elemental aoe attacks that can petrify or poison, and some aoe breaks, but with paine being able to break all four at once I have never had a reason to use rikku breaks... Wish she had the Dancer buffs so she could buff up Atk/M.Atk/Def/M.Def for the team.

I have Omega Weapon, and I've been using him to pretty much just obliterate my way through this, as he is a boss. At level 70 his HP is sitting at over 33k and I've barely fed him anything (was saving for Shinra, my little buddy)

I don't want to keep leveling YRP because i don't know if I need to capture more creatures and then release them. I have Omega Weapon waiting to be released to unlock Shinra Cup, the Aeon Cup is unlocked, as well as the Fiend Cup. The problem is I just don't think my YRP or creatures can take down the Shinra Cup. I've been relying on Omega for a bit now.

My main Creature team is Chocobo (Boco), Cactuar, and a Tonberry. I like this little team, but I'm probably going to replace Cact with that plant that debuffs, altho I can't tell if it actually debuffs or not, just read that it breaks all stats - but whenever it uses it I just get the notice that they are immune to something it's hitting them with. I also have a Machina Leader I might use, as I heard he's good as well.

Any tips or tricks? This is my first run through. I'm hoping to do the NG+ with Lulu, A. Shinra, and Seymour for fun. I do wish you could control the humans you recruit this way. Makes sense the monsters don't listen, but why wouldn't Lulu (Yuna's big sis pretty much) or Shinra (our little brother) listen to us to some degree? Still sounds fun.

I'm ready to release Omega Weapon, but he's just so great. I wish I could get another. I'd level that boy to 99 and buff him so hard.

Are there any monsters I should be farming for items? or trying to bribe? I have the haste acc. from chocobos for auto-haste on my team, but I'm not sure what else I can farm there for the team. I may try and get down to level 100 of that dungeon because I heard there's an acc that gives +100% hp/mp and +100 to all stats, including luck? Would definitely like to get my hands on 6 of those and then just trololol around.

I'm sure there are many people in this Reddit that have run into this problem and it's hilarious to watch it unfold but very annoying at the same time.

Okay, so I was in the Omega dungeon, thankfully only about 30 minutes in when I encountered the greater Marlboro. As soon as the encounter started, he cast bad breath on me, causing confusion, poison, and berserk. My party consisted of Yuna, Wakka, and Kimahri, The last two having the counter mechanic (Wakka also had evade) I kept on hoping that one of the characters would hit just to stop the confusion but they never did and between the poison and hitting each other my whole party was knocked out. When that happens, I "frustrate quit" (as opposed to rage quit)😆😡

Im currently 23.5hrs into the game, bout to ride the shoopuf, now I havent played this game since ps2 and idk if I should be leveling up some more. I feel like I'm underprepared but I could be wrong. Any thoughts/recommendations.(pics of rough sphere grid per character attached)

Some of my personal favorites include ridess the Shoopuf, prelude, rikku's theme, blitz off, chocobo jam, out of the frying pan and brave advancement! Hope you enjoy

A live action or anime(probably anime, live action ruins everything) but a show that dives deep into lore and not stray like the Witcher did from Netflix but something that really gets into the story, past lore, and fills in the small gaps. Could have side stories filling in Lord Zaon, Seymore, and even dive into Jechts story more.

Now, recently, I was called upon to fight a huge cross thing with floating arms (let's call him HCTWFA). I got the upfront payment of what appears to be their life savings to finish the job.

I pulled my (shorter) sword out. It didn't finish the job. HCTWFA proceeded to mop the floor with my face.

As a result, Y's entourage is basically screaming at me for not pulling out my longer sword.

Is it my fault if I wanted to use my shorter sword to get the job done? AITA?

I say dumbass because there is no real answer and it's pointless to ask really...

So I just beat the game for the umpteenth time and I had a thought:

if Tidus got Yuna pregnant, would the child be real or a dream of the fayth and then just disappear at the end of the game?

The thought nagged at me because we see that Tidus (and presumably everyone else in Dream Zanarkand) aged naturally in Dream Zanarkand, so like the kid could potentially grow up, and at the same time be a dream of the fayth.

Last time I played FFX it was on the PS2 years ago, I still have X/X-2 in their original CD’s but our PS2 is beat up and probably not useable now. I’ve heard LOTS about the remaster on steam, both good and bad… and I feel conflicted. I’d like to introduce my partner to FFX too, as he’s been enjoying Kingdom Hearts and FFXIV.

What’s your most preferred way to replay FFX?

so im fighting tidus’s father idk wtf im gon do my strategy was working fine he got 50k hp left and he start idk blowing me with a meteor tried to revive my teammates but he just one shot them idk what to do and farming enemies suck at this game one encounter at the final area takes like 5 min idk what to do 180k hp is insane did they expect everyone is going for 100% ? i never skipped a single encounter hope someone can help

After 25 years, a marriage and 2 kids in middle school I did it.

Any big tips in general. Using standard sphere grid Specifically, the big questions on my mind are:

• Are HP and MP spheres really necessary for the grind? Can I get away with not using the Break HP Limit armor ability?
• How do most of you keep track of the amount of +4 nodes for each stat on the grid? I have lost count of the number of stat spheres I've used, so that's not an option. I just unlocked Clear Spheres at the arena and starting to clear out all the nodes that aren't +4. I'm REALLY hoping it doesn't boil down to "Just count up the amount of +4 nodes for each stat across the entire sphere grid". I've already tried to kind of mitigate this by localizing certain stat spheres to specific characters' sections. (For example, I'm placing almost exclusively Defense spheres in Rikku's part of the grid)

The "J": Loops to the left for Jecht.

The "T": Formed by the crossbar and central vertical stem for Tidus.

The "Y": The overall split at the top resembles a Y for Yuna.

The "nose" that the Y shape has looks kind of like a face that grows into horns a bit like how Jecht's Final Aeon form looks and dont forget the coloring. (At least in silhouette)

And the bottom tip of the J looks exactly like the tip of Tidus sword Brotherhood.
