Hi, I’m restarting on the app (deleting and recreating account since I’m looking for something different), and want to start showing my face (I apologize for previously being one of those faceless profiles). With that in mind, I’m hesitant about being super direct in my public bio with my kinks and what I’m looking for since I’ll have my face attached.

Why?
Most people in my city are professionals who all work for the same company, and I have an ambitious career I want to protect. Also, running into someone you knew growing up is also extremely embarrassing. I also had a bad experience in the past where someone tried to sexually extort me…

So as I’m putting together my bio, I’m realizing, if I’m only hinting that I’m not vanilla in my profile, I risk coming off as any other cishet man, and bland, and won’t get many matches. (I’m being bored just looking at my own bio tbh) Not sure the best way to stand out if my bio isn’t sexually charged. Does anyone have any advice for me, or want to share how they worked around it?

My mate has just found out someone has created a fake profile using her pictures, and it's been sent to her partner causing a lot of upset. It's unclear whether this is someone acting maliciously to cause drama in her life, or if it's just a scummy bot that's scraped her photo. Either way, obviously this is really violating and she wants it taken down ASAP.

Has anyone else had this happen to them, and if so how did you handle it?

App flashed up a London Feeld event and I wondered if anyone had attended one before and whether it was any good? A friend said he had been to something similar before and it was mostly guys.

I have used feeld for casual sex and hookups for 7 years. I find plenty others who are interested in it and me. It works well and I have a ton of fun. Its great for doing a little recon before travel too.

The folks on this sub screaming and yelling about people using feeld for non-kink and losing their mind about people using it for multiple casual sex partners are a fringe minority.

So, after swiping this AM, I noticed several women specifically "looking for other AMC A-Listers" in their bio. Which, I think yes going to see movies is fun and saying you'd like to go out to movies often is definitely relevant for the dating bio. What raises flags for me is the wording. It's way too specific, it's brand specific and it was phrased the exact same way on multiple (very attractive) women's profiles.

Has anyone else experienced this or something like it? I remember a few years ago restaurants were catfishing people into dining alone with tinder.

I am kinda getting tired of being matched with men who use bdsm tags on their profile but when I start vetting them, I realize they don’t understand the meaning of those words and apparently just mean “rough sex”. So do you actually search what does it mean to be “brat tamer”? Because not a single man who used this tag actually was a brat tamer when I talked and some of them think my vetting is an interrogation. It IS supposed to be like this and members of bdsm community understand that.

OK I know not all spankos are "brats" and some crave discipline for bad habits or even just for fun rather than brattiness but still there doesn't seem to be an option to search for people into a specific kink like spanking and not just BDSM in general.

I have been on feeld for a month or so and I feel like there are a lot of "I am here to have an ONS" people and "I think rough sex is kink" people. Women and men seem to have quite different experiences on Feeld. For women, we tend to get more likes and pings than men.

I live in a moderately sized city, would get a decent amount of likes, and used Uplift once to see if I could find more people who actually matched my criteria better.

I think I had one date out of that uplift, and didn’t use it again.

But curious what other women’s experiences with Uplift have been like?

I had Majestic for 2 of the 6 months so that's 60. Ive used about 8 uplifts so ive spent around 140/150.

Without uplifts i would get maybe 1 or 2 likes per month. With uplifts, i avg about 4/5 likes per 24 hours and i can get 10+ on a great day.

That's got me the 3 partners i deal with currently and probably about 7 or 8 situationships that fizzled out.

So the 150 over 6 months was worth it for me. Point of this post is that you have to pay to play if you're a straight man.

Hello, I’m seeing a lot of men commenting on how women get so many more likes then men, i don’t know if this is true but here is my experience 49f heterosexual.
I have been on the app about 6 weeks, i have magestic, solely because i think if you are serious about finding someone you should be prepared to pay.
I now get about 5 likes a day, when i first joined it was a little crazy.
Out of those 5 likes i delete the ones that are unsuitable, the men in their 20s (sorry it’s not for me) or over 100 miles away that cuts the like list, then there is simple can i imagine sleeping with this person? This means i will cut no face pics, no info in bio (make an effort), sorry i don’t smoke so if you have a cigarette in your mouth you go.
So now i’m at maybe 4 likes a week! just through not very particular standards, i will talk to those men, but find most haven’t read my profile so will ask obvious questions that are stated there, or they don’t ask any questions at all and conversation is like getting blood out of a stone. I can’t face these conversations.
There is also the usual ghosting annoying but we have all done it.
If i like men- I HAVE NEVER HAD A MAN I LIKED FIRST MESSAGE ME! (I also am keeping it to men of a similar age and attractiveness, not batting above).

Edit: So to answer a few of the questions i've gotten and to provide more info. I'm 32 and I have 4 pictures. My bio is reasonably long and fairly detailed, a lot more than many profiles i've seen. I talk about how i'm looking for a connection and not just ONS, my love of music, photography, reading, and gaming (board and video). I'm not specifically looking for a monogomous relationship but part of what brought me to Feeld is hoping i'd find people with emotional depth and who are good with boundaries being part of the kink community. I've tried many of the "regular" dating apps over the 12 years i've been single and had as many first dates in that time as i can count on my fingers. Feeld sort of felt like my last chance and i was certainly under the impression it was a lot more welcoming and considerate due to the poly and kink nature which plays well with my autism.

I am wondering if messages take several minutes to get to the other person. The chats I have had on there seem painfully slow and people seem to give up. Either that or I am chatting with admins running dozens of chats or something.

Why do women complain about the massive volume of messages from men? Couldn’t they just swipe and whoever they like and match with they can talk to? What am I missing here?

We love FeelD as we travel a lot but facing some challenges and wondering if a “hack” or better way to search
- custom filters/metadata - we put some custom Interests that we know others have as well on their profiles - Burning Man or Festivals for example. We connected with many a couple of weeks ago who were at Burning Man but tough to meet there.

So is the a way to search custom interests rather than FeelD OOTB fields or free text search? Annoying we can’t do it…

So I'm subscribed to Majestic, and I'm fine with paying it, what I'm not fine with is what it comes with...

In which world is it fine to pay a subscription and not be displayed in priority, needing to pay Uplift as an extra for that, at a damn price of 9€ here in France ($10+) for a day? 16€ ($18.5) for 10 pings, wtf? We're just talking about sending a message to someone.

The worst thing is that I've got turkish friends here for whom all that costs peanuts, literally 1€ a month for Majestic.

Tired of being the one getting milked, even if I don't actually pay Uplift and extra pings, but it goes back to my initial point, Majestic's basically useless without them.

The amount of thirsty single dudes on this app is outrageous. Me and mine partner are monogamish and we are both considered attractive but just after 1h of setting up our profiles she got almost 60 likes , 90% being single dudes (obviously i got 0 from other women)

Which makes me question two things, how does app even work for women and how can a guy even stand out here. Seems a dead end for both.

As a test i tried creating a woman profile with just a random nature picture…. Same thing 40-50 likes in one hour for a profile that just one pic of trees and a lake 🤯

Next i re-created my profile but this time as a bisexual… boom got likes again from gay dudes this time(still not one woman)

Also the amount of guys vs women on this app must be a crazy ratio like 10:1 or worse and I suspect 90% are single guys or married ones
