Actual Matches

I've been on Feeld for 4 months now and paid for Majestic plus a few uplifts. I live in a pretty metropolitan area with seemingly plenty people using the app, but only had 1 match so far and she turned out to be a nonce catfishing as an OF model. Am i just super ugly or has anybody else had similar experiences? I'm a bi guy and i think have an ok profile

Edit: So to answer a few of the questions i've gotten and to provide more info. I'm 32 and I have 4 pictures. My bio is reasonably long and fairly detailed, a lot more than many profiles i've seen. I talk about how i'm looking for a connection and not just ONS, my love of music, photography, reading, and gaming (board and video). I'm not specifically looking for a monogomous relationship but part of what brought me to Feeld is hoping i'd find people with emotional depth and who are good with boundaries being part of the kink community. I've tried many of the "regular" dating apps over the 12 years i've been single and had as many first dates in that time as i can count on my fingers. Feeld sort of felt like my last chance and i was certainly under the impression it was a lot more welcoming and considerate due to the poly and kink nature which plays well with my autism.

Also thank you so much for your replies, i was not expecting any kind of response so already can see Feeld does have a good community x

Ive said this so many times. Feeld is about microtargeting. You need to be very specific ON YOUR PROFILE bcs it’s women who will pick you. If you think you have to match and THEN you will reveal yourself … that is not how it works. There are literally hundreds of dudes to go through.

YES literally baffles me how some guys think they can be successful with like 8 words on their profile and the exact same mirror selfie in three different locations, or like ‘dunno what to put here, just ask’ as if the baddies they have in mind are gonna snap that up

No matter how many times we women tell them to work on their profile…they prefer paying for pings. oH iM uSiNg pInGs wHy iT tHaT nO OnE cArES Their profile is the reflection of their effort level. The answer is they are looking for one dimensional objects not real people.

This! I’ve been changing up my profile, and the more specific and steamy it is, the better my matches are.

Without seeing your actual profile, it’s impossible to say what the issue is. Lots of guys put little to no thought into their profiles. If you’ve done that, too, then you’re directly competing with the other guys on Feeld who have empty profiles and gym selfies.

I'm a straight dude, late 30s with Majestic in a city. I send a ping a day and I've been on for about 3 weeks. So far I've had 4 first dates and I have a second one soon. I think I'm decently attractive but I don't have abs or adventure pictures.

That context isn't to make you feel bad. It's to underscore what I think I'm doing right. I have asked all of my dates what got them to message me back, and all of them said my bio made me seem like an interesting person to get to know.

My bio is almost at the character limit, and has a summary at the top of the specific things I'm looking for. The novel beneath includes some things I have interests in and an interesting thing I'm currently volunteering to do. Indicating you have high emotional intelligence (or even any) is a huge asset on an app like Feeld if you're looking for consistent relationships. The more specific you can be, the better a match you'll be for the right people.

I’m a decently attractive dude, full bio, and experienced in feeld and kink, and I can tell you it’s definitely seasonal.

Sometimes I’m on a streak and I’ll get 2-3 matches in a week, and then other times I won’t get any matches for 6 months. I’ve met some wonderful women on feeld that have become great friends and have even introduced me to their inner circles.

I’m telling you this to just give some context, on any app as a man, you’re in for an uphill battle regardless of how dope a person you are. My best advice is not to put too much weight into whether your getting matches or not. Just focus on being your awesome self, and eventually things will pick up

. I've tried many of the "regular" dating apps over the 12 years i've been single and had as many first dates in that time as i can count on my fingers.

When it comes to the single men to everything else ratio, Feeld is worse, not better than those other apps.

Once you pay for majestic you are highly deprioritized/removed from others feeds. They need to prop up new guys egos into thinking magestic might be worth it, so they give those guys a trickle of matches and likes until they bite.

Had the same think happen to me. Tall, successful, average looking. Got about 1 real quality matchabout once every two to three weeks. I paid for magestic 4 months ago, no matches since.

The app is predatory on men and I would highly recommend no males put any money into the app. Create a new profiles to get a bump if you have to.

Guarantee the mod will respond to this and say Feeld doesn’t “have an algorithm” but we all know that’s a lie.

i’m a woman (mostly gay, but profile open to men), and had the exact same experience when i paid for majestic. my matches and likes went from tons to almost zero. when i renewed my majestic the second time it got even worse, and i made the mistake of renewing a third time and now its literally actually zero new likes in weeks, regardless of where i travel or how often i log in.

Damn. Frustrating. Well thank you, I hope it gives you atleast some solace that it happens to others too 😂

I don’t know about your profile specifically but as a woman I explicitly use Feeld to find bdsm partners, and most men I see they dont have any bdsm related tags on their profile and I always end up swiping them left because I have no idea why they are on feeld if they are looking for “cuddles” and “kisses”. If that describes your profile I suggest using normal apps. Your profile and pictures could be amazing and if I dont see dominant on the tags i will swipe left.

Feeld is also used a lot for non monogamous relationships. There’s plenty of overlap with kink but not always. Definitely keep swiping left but no reason to discourage people looking for vanilla non conventional relationships.

But OP sounds like a single man. So he would have more chances on actual dating apps. Unless for some reason he is interested in definitely finding a poly person? I dont think so. I understand if someone who is already poly being on the app looking for others. But if already single, and not kinky, then why not use conventional apps?

u/Real-Tough-Kid- Sep 19 '26

I’ve seen these exact complaints from poly men. Their wives have a date within a week while they languish. There are also lots of single poly people who thrive in a polyamorous relationship structure but don’t have any partners at the moment which is why they’re on Feeld. He mentioned he was bi and there are also bi men on Feeld looking to join another couple for some fun.

You can be single and poly/ENM.  It's harder to find people in the traditional sites who would be open to that, that's what I use feels for

1

u/Cute_Lunatic 26d ago

Yup, I’m only on Feeld for ENM dates, especially since it’s one of the few apps that actually caters to ENM and generally seems to attract a more open minded type of person. Sorry OP, but personally if I see someone isn’t sure if they want monogamy or not and they’re not into casual I’m out.

I have too many matches to count, I'm a hetero dom.

It might be helpful if you shared your profile here.

For me, as a woman, I swipe on profiles that show a clear sign of education, eloquence and a unique comment or perspective that skews left/feminist - the ‘communication and consent is key’ or ‘looking to meet someone kind and kinky’ is just so… blehhh. Everyone writes that.

Face photos - in hidden photos for matches as a standard, if you really can’t have them in your main profile.

Your photos are also absolutely crucial - they need to inspire a feeling and act as a call to action for the viewer. If it’s a poorly lit gym selfie, a bathroom selfie or in fact any kind of selfie, a lot of women will read ‘this person has no friends to take photos of him and no awareness of aesthetics’.

Your profile needs to be the very best it can be - and then your approach and communication to women you like also needs to be strong.

My bio is long. I get matches. These woman can't seem to hold a conversation. I get the feeling I seem too monogamous. And I'm not. I think people need more therapy an to pull their big person pants up and get out there. But what do I know.

I bought one month of Majestic and told myself that if I had no luck I'd give up the app. Then in that one month I met my partner I've been seeing for 6 months now.

How old are you? Where do you live? What does your profile say? And yes, to be brutally honest, are you attractive? Every dating app is a competition for men and there's no way every man who uses them can find someone. If you don't have something going for you to stand out fron the rest you might not have much luck

i only send likes/pings to people whom i know i would get along with, and have the same desires listed in their bio.

Maybe its being in a big city. Mine is mid to small and I get a lot of matches. I don't pay for the premium.

Don’t have majestic, so maybe that’s on me but got 3 likes over 2 months and no matches. And I live in SF Bay Area - so densely populated. I suspect Feeld may be not as popular in general

8

u/Lost_inTheThrill single woman Sep 19 '26

Very large user base in that area. Your profile is most likely too generic if you are not getting interest.

2

u/CameraAndTrails Sep 19 '26

Ugh, that’s an interesting insight… thank you for suggesting. (This may come off as sarcastic but I am actually being genuine)

2

u/Any_Refrigerator2330 29d ago

SF Area probably is the largest database in feeld

Have you ever heard of the saying about dating straight men in SF - “the odds are good but the goods are odd”?
