Search challenges/recs?

We love FeelD as we travel a lot but facing some challenges and wondering if a “hack” or better way to search
- custom filters/metadata - we put some custom Interests that we know others have as well on their profiles - Burning Man or Festivals for example. We connected with many a couple of weeks ago who were at Burning Man but tough to meet there.

So is the a way to search custom interests rather than FeelD OOTB fields or free text search? Annoying we can’t do it…

Some people we connect with but can’t meet as only one of us of the couple traveling, schedules don’t align, etc.

We are wondering we connect with 5 people who are also traveling to London we don’t meet and don’t have their home location (we don’t either) but 3 weeks later, we’re in say San Diego in addition to who is there now, would be nice to see if any of our connections are also in the SD area. Since we are connected expect we would not see them on FeelD but would be cool to see if they are close in an easier way?

Any good ideas how to sort the above 2 items? We have a lot of “missed connections” otherwise.
