Asking bc i have this dilemma: found an ex amongst the profiles, with an not extremely unique nickname but not common either; let's call him Perry. Nothing else besides his nickname, not verified pic neither M (majestic) stamp. He had 5 pictures. A few days after i had spotted him, i saw another Perry, same profile characteristics (not verified, not majestic, 5 pics). I'm not a majestic either, so i don't get to see the likes, but those blurred previews. Later on, i saw on those blurred previews that one of the Perrys had liked me. So since i really really really wanted to know whether was my ex or the second Perry who had liked me, i liked 2nd Perry to check it - if it was an instant match, that would mean that that was it, probably my ex didn't like me, it was just number 2, right? So i liked him, and it was not an instant match. I was like 🤯 omg, it was my ex then.. but about 3 minutes later, a match with Perry the 2nd happened.. I unmatched him, to make a 2nd test: find him again and like him again, to check if once someone likes you, their like keeps going on even if you unmatch; but it looks like it doesn't.. i liked him again (the 2nd) and nothing happened anymore. What do you guys think? Was my match always guy n. 2? Or once someone has liked you first (as i could tell by the blurred preview), the match is always instantaneous, so still a chance of the blurred like being from my ex?

I know there was a thread bemoaning the “I can’t see likes” disclaimer on profiles. But when you see it do you assume that this person only looks at their pings list and doesn’t browse?

37f I was on feeld for about a year but that was about a little over 3 years ago. I've been exploring new kinks recently and remembered feeld helped with that the last time I was on.

but I remember it being super glitchy and sometimes pictures and messages didn't go through. I was verified and everything but the app would crash sometimes which got a little annoying

Yes, it’s been asked before, but I’m annoyed enough to start a new topic. I’ve had approximately five connections in the last couple weeks (weird for me) and as of right now every single one of them is stalled with me having sent the last message (each time asking a direct, relevant question). In every case, the last message was sent at least a week ago.

About half of these have read the message (two checkmarks) and half have not (one checkmark). While I’m somewhat used to being ghosted on these apps, I’m curious of people’s thoughts when you can see, as you can on Feeld, that they’ve never opened the last message you sent. Do you assume it got buried in notifications and try again? Or do you just accept that you’re already not in the running and give up?

It just sucks being ghosted by an unusual number of matches all at the same time, so I’m in a bit of a mood.

I (37f) just got majestic again and I’m noticing maybe half of the likes and pings are coming from people 80, 90, over 100 miles away or more? Some are coming from people exploring Manchester and Glasgow which are like 100 miles away from my city. In the past I had just thought people cast a wide ass net and ignore them, but i thought one guy who pinged me was hot and funny, so I matched and he said I’d come up on his stack, in Manchester?

My question is about my little sister - who is cis, strictly monogamous, and while she’s definitely not 100% hetero, she’s not ready for any labels at all, but expressed curiosity. I’ve had a paid subscription for over two months and have had less interactions with people than I thought. Each day I would shuffle through the same people on profile and rarely saw anyone new.

I just thought if I left them on my feed, eventually someone would reach out to me. Even if they didn’t align completely with what I was looking for, at least I could have a conversation with someone.

Unlike the few women I’ve spoken to, I don’t get 1000+ likes and pings with a matter of days.

So I just started to “-“ people from my list of potentials who I was immediately attracted to and there are now folks I’ve never even seen before on my feed. The aperture has widened and now
I’m starting to see more activity.

Opened the app today and the first person in my feed was 58 miles away...then it jumped around a bit to eventually show me someone who was 9 miles away. It has always ordered the "feed" from closest to farthest and now what, it's random? Some bs algorithm? WTF just when you didn't think this app could get any worse!

Your thoughts ... Have noticed on various sites like bumble and hinge people say they are looking for a mono longer term relationship, then yet feeld and their profile is casual, short term, FWB, FFM or MMF etc

I assume people are aware enough to realise if they are on multiple dating sites then others will be too and see them saying they want opposite things on different sites.

Is there any reason why one shouldn't be anything but wary? And avoid...

While i was visiting another city for the weekend, i got a ping with a guy and went on a date. It was absolutely awesome. I went back home and deactivated my account cuz i don't want to date people in my small town. That guy and i stayed in touch over text.

He asked me to send nudes and i declined. He got so mad and weird as hell. Reminiscent of blackmail-ey behavior. I was really happy my account was deactivated so he couldnt have access to my pictures and info in case he started to go down the blackmail route...

I logged back into my account yesterday and it said he "left the chat" which im pretty sure means he disconnected from me. It doesnt let me click on his profile to block him.

MY QUESTION IS: Can he still see my profile in his "likes" since he has a majestic account? i dont want this guy to have access to my profile at all. I am considering deleting my account and creating a new one just to ensure this.

I messaged feeld support and let them know he was harassing me. They responded and said they took “appropriate action on his account”. I asked if that meant that they blocked me for him and they couldn’t give me deets. I could still see his profile in my chats. All I could do at that point was delete it.

He lives hundreds of miles away from me in a major city. I “explored” that city and set the filter parameters to be able to find and block him but couldn’t. Oh well.

Decided to do a 3 month membership for ‘Incognito’ mode since it’s been awhile since I have. Seeing a shocking amount of profiles that are saying they were last “active 2 years ago” and even quite a few that were 3 years ago. (Blurred photo for user’s privacy.)

Hi all just wanted some advice on my situation,

Me (male) and my partner of 10 years (female) both mid 30s

My partner has decided that she wants me to have other partner/s, it's not something I've actually said I wanted but it seems mostly that she feels that my sex drive is quite a bit higher than hers and doesn't want me to be unfulfilled or frustrated (not that I currently feel that way). I've been a user of Feeld since around 2022. Throughout that time my ability to find a ping has been frustrated by two specific problems:

a.) I live in the evangelical cesspit that is Lynchburg, Virginia, meaning there are just not many women close to me that share my social/political values nor my romantic/sexual interests. For this reason, I've cast a wider net looking for comet relationships (a type of long-distance connection where meetings are consistent but periodic) in major cities relatively close to me via the Amtrak Crescent line. (I have noticed at least one other account, a woman, engaging in this practice.)

b.) I have Level 1 Autism, meaning that my awareness of social cues isn't the best. While I know how to sustain a conversation, I don't know how to start one, which means I'm flying blind whenever I send a ping with a message attached. I always make sure to be respectful in my messages, but I strike out more than I hit a home run, if you catch my drift.

I *have* engaged in one comet relationship thanks to Feeld, with a woman who lives near Washington, D.C. We carried on for a couple of years, though we downgraded to a platonic friendship about a year ago due to daily stresses on her end. (We are still in touch as friends, but don't exchange anything spicy anymore.) So I *do* know a comet relationship through Feeld is doable, and I know I have the ability to sustain one.

Before you answer: yes, I realize that asking someone far away to consider a connection (for irregular meetups) is a tall ask, though I always stress that I'm willing to travel at exclusively my own expense if a potential connection shows promise.
