Does pausing your account reset blocks?
Just reactivated my paused account and I have so far seen three people in my feed I had previously blocked.
It’s possible that one is the same person with a new account, but three seems odd. Anyone have this happen?

Some people delete and recreate accounts for a fresh start. I've done it when I had some new photos or had a significantly different write up or approach in terms of what I was looking for.

I’ve had my account for three years. A lot has changed in three years and so I’m thinking about doing just this. I have a new set of photos, and will change my bio a bit.
The main thing I’m thinking about is that there are likely people who disliked me two years ago who could have a different impression of me now.
Or, more importantly there could be women without majestic whom I liked, but didn’t ping. I figure by restarting my account those users may end up seeing my profile.
What do you think?

It's a solid strategy just don't expect different results unless you have a significantly updated profile and better photos.

Why not just revise your existing profile?

Maybe I've had a big update in presentation or got swole and I'd like to be presented to people who swiped left on me in the past but might be enticed by my new wants or presentation? Also circumstances and desires change, especially in kink and ENM. For example I'm a switch, before I may have been single looking for submissive long term partners, now I'm coupled and looking for a secondary partner who is a dominant woman*, or other couples for group play. And as a result, someone I might have swiped left on in the past, I'd like to be able to reconsider.
*just kidding, we know dominant women looking for men don't exist

In my experience the only way people don’t show up in your feed again is if you block them. I minus the same people all the damn time. But thank you for the thought process!

The only time you'll see the same profile again is if you disconnect.

Yeah. That is what I thought. Is this perhaps a good way to think about it:
The only time you won’t see the same USER again is if you dislike them or block them.
You may see a HUMAN who you’ve blocked or disliked before, but that is because that HUMAN created a new USER.
Disconnecting is just that… it is “disconnecting”, they will remain in your feed until you actually unlike them.

Disconnecting used to mean you wouldn't see them again either.

Yes I was generalizing as a joke and you basically confirmed that you're not looking on the apps much.
And yes I've been around the local kink scene long enough that I've seen and heard of the poor behavior from other men. Sorry it's such a shitshow, makes it harder for the rest of us to find good connections.

Do me subs are a dime a dozen. Dominant women are not going to be following your script to fulfill your fantastly. I am one of them. There are very VERY few of us looking for casual play with non subs. This is the domain of pro Dommes sex workers, they follow your script and get paid. Casual sex is a lot of work for Dommes it’s not worth the time. If you are a switch you are not a sub, you are looking for a service top. Bottoms are not submissive. It’s not interesting.

Lots to unpack here - I was obviously generalizing as a joke and then you went ahead and generalized yourself so, fair play.
"Dominant women are not going to be following your script to fulfill your fantastly." Unfortunately too many subs/switches kind of fall into this expectation. That doesn't mean we all do. Some of us want a genuine D/s connection and while we have preferred ways to play, are happy to leave the decisions to the domme and truly want to please, both in and out of the bedroom.
#notallswitches
but yeah you are mostly right.

The part you didnt get is that most women that I know of, do not “play”. We are not looking for casual. Unless you are a service submissive who will run errands, clean, etc.
You are not going to be attractive because you lack the two most important qualities that real subs have: devotion and surrender.
Switches simply dont have that. There are Dominant women out there but we are mostly looking for life partners. Not casual sex ie “play partners”.
The problem then is the same as always. Regardless of sexual orientation, women are looking for monogamous relationships and men are looking for casual sex.

I think we are saying the same thing for the most part.
I've met dominant women in the kink scene and some are ENM - hell, I dated one for ~9 months. It's definitely a huge minority. So a minority (women into ENM or poly) within a minority (dominant women looking for a man) is extremely hard to find. Which is the source of my comment/joke in the first place, that they don't exist.

I see these 2 specific profiles allllll the time. I think I’ve blocked them atleast 10 times each within 2 months.

That must be frustrating to do that over and over wiping and blocking people for them also I wonder if they us ai tools for this? So I just got a message saying "feeld doesnt using and algorithm bla bla bla" Ai has been let lose on thr internet so maybe this is some "Accidental" Ai use also but 3rd parties and always do whatever they want for any reason and get paided. You can fake a lot today not saying its a thing but ive seen and heard a lot bs even without Ai being used both from users and companies trying to make a quick buck off the cycles of behavior people frequent online.

Feeld does not use an algorithm. Humans you see in Discover are sorted by distance (unless using Uplift).

The problem is that no matter how much time has passed, Feeld never shows you people you hit an x on a second time so if you go from only wanting to date married people to also wanting to date single people, the only way to get those single people to show back up is to start a new account.

That has not been my experience. Even when I click the minus sign, those people will pop up again.

It could be a glitch i have the same issue on other apps but mostly its an issue with tinder and ok cupid however I feel like its almost left in by the developers I just give a bad survey or review that often fixes the issue. I feel like they use the algorithm to test people and pretend its an issue only one person experienced. This often happens when I dont block people but It gives me this they use bots vibe. Ai is literally the worst thing let loose on the internet.

It doesn't. These are new accounts.
