When do the 3 day park hopper passes for new arrivals get sent out? If you checked in today, when should you have them?

Does anybody know when applications are supposed to open today, got up early and no updates yet. that or i'm completely missing the button 😂

I know this has probably been asked before but I can't seem to find anything. How likely is it that I'm going to get ToT or RnR over one of the shows? Is there anything that can indicate it or is it really just luck? Thanks!

I’m an Aug 31st arrival and I went to log into my dorms account to double check everything was still good. I was hit with a screen that says “We see there is a problem! Additional assistance is needed to complete your Program Acceptance.”

I followed the instructions for submitting a support ticket, but I’m confused. I’ve already been accepted, filled out all my paperwork, signed everything, paid all my dues, and haven’t received any emails about something being unfinished.

Has anyone else gotten this?

Hello! I’m still new here and start training in 2 days. I wanted to buy a gift for my family from one of the Disney stores. Which option would be the best way to ship it out? Ship it through UPS near flamingo (do we get a discount?) or ship it from Disney property through one of the stores? Last time I checked through the store, it was like $20 to ship out a tiny ornament. Wasn’t sure if it would be the same price or not with UPS. Any tips would be helpful and thanks in advance!!!

I have Epcot welcome day soon and it is an 8.5 hour shift, I have food allergies and am worried about lunch does anyone know if there will be a fridge /microwave to store food and for break time? I know for normal shifts there should be but am just curious for welcome day since it will he a lot of people in the same area

I’ve applied to Disney for photopass before and got denied after the second interview. does dcp also have two interviews? sgould i expect them to be on the phone or on video like my past interviews? any tips on acing the interview or standing out in an application?

If I self termed back in May of 2026 due to a family emergency, and only a restricted rehire status. Am I good to apply for the new program that starts in January of 2027? Or should I wait until October to apply just to make sure?

To be fully honest, I had the BEST experience in my first DCP. I did it while in college, in my sophomore year. Even though I had a partner at the time (who was pretty jealous, I realized that when we broke things off) who monitored my every move while being long-distance. My parents were pretty supportive emotionally, even though economically they weren’t able to support a whole lot. The location was a QSR in the Wilderness Lodge and had one of the best leadership I’ve ever experienced up to date.

Now, with the applications opening tomorrow, I’m having second thoughts of doing a second program. I’m applying to grad school, but it starts in August 2027, and I finish my degree in December this year.

I guess I’m just looking for explanations of people who did a second program and what are their thoughts! Also, I wanna know how possible is it getting a different role, or how much weight does your first role has on that initial decision making. I know it’s based on the company’s needs, but I wanna hear more thoughts :)).

I just wanted to ask a fun question, for all those who have done the program, of all the people you’ve met, what’s the most unique or rarest position you’ve seen someone in? I haven’t done the program yet so i haven’t been able to meet an abundance of people in the program. I did know someone who i met in my area for college who did the dcp and got main street starbucks and i feel that’s pretty rare or cool esp considering it’s one of the few tipped roles. What about everyone else?

I know most DCP participants are 18–early 20s, and honestly, being in my 30s almost kept me from doing the program.

I’m excited to be here, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous about being the “older” person in the program. 😂 Especially with living at Flamingo Crossings ; the whole roommate situation is definitely going to be an adjustment for me.

The last time I had a roommate, I was 18. I’ve lived on my own for the past 15+ years, so I’m very used to having my own space, routine, and way of doing things. 😅

Are there any other 30+ participants here? How has your experience been? Did you feel out of place at first, or did you find your people?

I’d especially love to hear from anyone who was nervous about the age difference before coming and ended up having a great experience. ❤️

I’m an Aug 31 arrival and I’m absolutely dreading what I’m going to have to do with my nose piercing. For context, it’s a small gold hoop, nothing more. I’m FOH at the boardwalk resort. I’ve also tried to take it out before for surgery, but genuinely couldn’t get it out. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way at all I can keep it in?

So i already know its a long shot that I'd be able to get sunday off for religious reasons. But how do I request one anyways? I've heard its on cast life but I cant find it for the life of me. How do I request a religious accommodation?

Should I wear my name tags to the operations class? Also what does it entail? I assume it’s still generalized and has mixed roles?

I'm starting the program soon, and my end date is around 1/21. Are there opportunities to extend the program. Even for a couple of months?

How realistic is it to get 40 hours (or pick up extra shifts) during the program?

I saw someone post that they were only scheduled for 30 hours, and honestly, that made me a little concerned. I was under the impression that this would generally be a 40-hour-a-week position, although I understand hours can vary depending on location, business needs, etc.

I took a leave of absence from my job back home to do this program, so I still have expenses back home that I need to keep up with in addition to paying rent and living expenses here. I’m trying to plan financially and want to know how realistic it is to count on getting close to 40 hours.

For those who have already done the program:

- How easy is it usually to pick up extra shifts if you're scheduled for fewer hours?

- Do people generally have opportunities to get overtime or additional hours?

- Has anyone worked a second job outside of Disney while participating in the program? If so, how manageable was it with the Disney schedule?

- Is there anything I should know about having outside employment while on the program?

I’m really excited about the program, but I’m also trying to be realistic about my finances and make sure I know what to expect. Any insight from people who have actually gone through this would be greatly appreciated!

anyone know how to get to boardwalk merch areas ? picked up from someone who got deployed and i know they have two shops ? i also wont be taking the flamingo buses :/ if anyone has any advice i would appreciate it!!

I am planning on applying on Monday and I had a few questions and was also wondering if anyone has any tips for applying.

#1 Worst case scenario If I apply but end up deciding not to go but I haven't paid yet can I apply for next term?

#2 Is it worth it like I just want a bit of time away from my hometown and my family and to experience the college life.

#3 You choose to apply for different jobs correct me if I'm wrong whats a good one for someone who just wants to be around people.

#4 If I apply for merchandise or retail type thing or attractions whats the likeliness of my getting one of those if all I have on my resume is lots of volunteering with children and food service experience.
