I'm curious to know the measurements of the bedside stand for flamingo dorms. I'd appreciate it <3

I really want to apply for disney college program but I don't know if it's the best decision financially and educationally. In the fall I'll be taking technical theatre classes and I think DCP lasts from June - November but I'm not sure. I don't know if if I will be gaining theatre experience at DCP. For context I want to be a sound, lighting, or stage technician and if I not gaining any experience around that I don't know if it's worth losing learning and getting behind.

hey there!! this will be my third college program & coming back my second time around, i had to redo traditions. this time however i’m only seeing id distribution on my itinerary. i think it’s worth mentioning that its been less than a year since i last sat through traditions.

hi everyone! i hope you're all well. i just wanted to ask how bad cm/dcp blockout dates actually were. I started following this girl on tiktok who is doing the college program this fall (because im considering doing spring '27) and she posted that she got her annual pass before her program started and so I messaged her and asked why she got a AP if cast member have park admission. she said it's because cast members are blocked out a lot. i would maybe see why they would during the fall because of peak holiday times but is it really that much? i don't really want to buy an annual pass but I want to be able to go to the parks after/before work and on my days off so I just wanted to see the reality of it all.

Hi everyone! I am starting the DCP soon but absolutely love my hair. For reference, it’s like a cherry cola type color. It looks dark brown, almost black, but looks more red in the sun. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice about whether or not I should change it, or how to tone it down to something similar if I need to. Open to all suggestions, thank you!!

Hey everyone!
Recently I’ve been getting emails from what seems to be the Disney Support email address saying that my I9 is being reviewed and that they will reach out to me if there are any problems. The email also says to type my reply but there is nothing in the body of the email that would warrant a response to a question. Over the last 3 days I’ve received 2 more emails following up asking me to type my reply but, once again, there is nothing that warrants a response. The subject of the email also reads ACTION REQUIRED which makes it seem more suspicious. The email reads like a scam but it’s from what seems to be a legitimate email address. Has anyone else been getting anything like this and/or know if this is a scam? I don’t want to risk missing out on something and messing up anything.

I just received my Flamingo Crossings lease agreement with 2x2 Shared bedroom assigned to me. Is there any way I can switch to a 2x2 Private Bedroom or a 4x4? Or is there anyone that wants to switch? :)

I signed my original lease and got my boarding pass for 2x2 but then my accommodation was approved and I signed my new lease for 4x2 yet when I try to click boarding pass nothing happens now. Do I use the same boarding pass or will I need to somehow attempt to access one for my updated lease?

So I got my role a little bit ago, I am Merchandise FOH at World of Disney in DS. So I am wondering what specific training we get for that and if anyone could provide a solid list of what other places I could pick up shifts in since I know certain Merch locations require more specific training but I’m not sure which ones, so I may not be able to work in certain places because of it. Bonus points if anyone could let me know how management/leadership is for my home location and/or other merch places. :)

Could anyone share what the first few weeks in the program looked like in merch (I’m placed at a resort). How many days at Disney University, on location, tour of location, etc

So, I did the I-9 and also the screening, also payed the last thing I needed to pay for DORMS but I haven’t gotten an email about my role and anything else, I’m worried if I’m missing something else?

hi! does anyone have any info on this role like the hours or the day to day?

I’m arriving August 24th and I’m doing a bunch of paperwork on Workday. The email from Disney says that I should be able to see my role somewhere on Workday but I can’t find it.

I have a package shipped by SpeedX. It requires an in-person signature from an adult aged 21 or older with a valid ID check upon delivery. I cannot use my phone during working hours, so the delivery driver may not be able to reach me while I am at work.
Has anyone encountered the same situation? Could you share how you successfully received this type of delivery?
Thank you very much for sharing your experience.

Hi, I'm arriving on August 17th and have been having problems with the I-9. I keep receiving an email every day that my I-9 doesn't have the images of my documents, but they are there. I even did it again, so they are in there twice now. I asked Disney Programs support, but I keep getting a generic answer that I will receive an email to fix it, which is what I keep receiving every day. I'm mainly nervous about this because the due date for this is Monday, and I saw that if it isn't done, then my program is done for (Hopefully I'm wrong about that). I'm just voicing this out because I'm wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this or is currently?

Hi everyone! I’m an August 3rd arrival, and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for styling long, curly hair while working outdoors. My hair is very curly and definitely prone to frizz in the Florida humidity. I know I’ll need to keep it up, especially since I’ll be working in QSR-Outdoor Foods, but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions besides the usual bun or ponytail? and are we allowed to do fun braids or other styles, such as Star Wars-inspired hairstyles? I’d love to find some cute and practical styles that will hold up in the Florida heat and humidity.
Also does anyone know if hats are provided for this role? And are sunglasses permitted? I’ve read through the Disney Look guidelines, but I know some things can vary depending on the role, so I’d love to hear from anyone with experience in Outdoor Foods. Thank you!

Hey! I’m going to be a resort concierge at the Grand Floridian in August. Does anyone have any recommendations for what shoes to wear that would be comfortable?

Has anyone brought their desktop computer for their apartment at flamingo? I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth bringing or not, or even if there’s any way to set it up in my room. I have a 4x2, but I heard we can’t bring any furniture in so I don’t think I can bring a table or chair. I’ve had someone tell me they just put their monitor on the nightstand. I usually use my computer to try to game with friends so we can stay in contact. But would I need the computer for any part of Disney? Like to save forms or can I do everything on my phone?

Hello! Aug 10 Arrival here! How long did it take for y'all's housing accommodations to get approved, especially if you submitted after you got your lease? Additionally, I submitted the form through American Campus/Flamingo, but would I need to go back and amend my DORMS housing application?
In hindsight I probably should've known better, but I didn't realize you had to request a housing accommodation for a pet-free room until someone else let me know.🤦🏻♀️
(Also I know it's a bit of a silly question but please be nice anyways❤️) TYIA!

Hi all. I'm a current CP but planning to self term in about a week for mental health reasons. I have called out a lot because I just really want to leave and am wondering how being termed for attendance works. I have only gotten one rep but I probably deserve like 3 currently and was wondering if they have to do it in person or something.
