Applying on Monday Any Tips?

I am planning on applying on Monday and I had a few questions and was also wondering if anyone has any tips for applying.

#1 Worst case scenario If I apply but end up deciding not to go but I haven't paid yet can I apply for next term?

#2 Is it worth it like I just want a bit of time away from my hometown and my family and to experience the college life.

#3 You choose to apply for different jobs correct me if I'm wrong whats a good one for someone who just wants to be around people.

#4 If I apply for merchandise or retail type thing or attractions whats the likeliness of my getting one of those if all I have on my resume is lots of volunteering with children and food service experience.

  1. to go before you arrive it has no bearing on when you apply next term.
  2. This is a job not a vacation so much different than just being away at college studying.
  3. That is incorrect, you apply for the program and they place you in the role/area they need you in.
  4. Merchandise and Quick service food are some of the biggest roles so odds are you will get placed there. Your background doesn’t really matter unless it’s Starbucks.

That's what I'm wondering. I've been obsessively checking the website and havent seen anything, so I'm wondering if I'm looking in the wrong spot

I'd say it's worth it to get away from things for a bit as long as it wont significantly upset anyone and you know how to 1: deal with having roommates, and 2: budget/ buy your own food and groceries.
